Half baked has great cookies and a variety of ice cream (custard year round). We stop here often when we have family in town after visiting the playground across the street. They sell Hoovers milk products as well on store which is a nice touch. They always have specials as well as their classics. The cookies are consistent in taste, size and overall quality. The store is clean and is a nice environment. I have always had prompt and friendly service while there. The cookies are pricey. They are also huge and they use quality ingredients. I like to bake so we don't usually purchase baked goods, but we do buy the cookies here because they are delicious! This is one of my dog's favorite places. She LOVES cream and the pup cup here is her favorite. It is quite a big size so I usually ask for a small portion of it. She particularly enjoys the peanut butter drizzle on top and likes to sit outside at the picnic tables with us to enjoy it. They offer vegan and gluten free options, which I have not gotten so I am unsure of what they do about any potential cross contamination etc. read more

All I can say is run, don't walk to this amazing bakery and ice cream parlor in one! No seriously, why are you still reading this, just get there and try everything! We met some friends here and I had no idea what to expect. Usually ice cream is much more of a draw for me than cookies, but after seeing the thick, delicious looking cookies I knew I wouldn't be able to choose. Luckily the "half baked" is their for anyone as indecisive as me. Basically an ice cream sundae that includes 3 toppings and your choice of any of their cookies. I opted to only put half of my cookie on the sundae and get the other half in a to go bag, which was smart as although it delicious, it as very rich and filling. I opted for the Chocolate PB, dark chocolate dough with peanut butter chips and a peanut butter cup center, but man was it a difficult choices. The cookies all looked delicious, more reason to go back for more! No joke, we drove 50 minutes to get to Half Baked because I couldn't stand drooling over their Instagram page any longer. I had scored a gift card deal on Black Friday and was anxious to take the family to enjoy some grand, fresh baked cookies. They had a flavor for everyone, including a couple gluten-free choices that were separated from their gluten-containing counterparts. We had Chocolate Peanut Butter (sprinkled with pb chips throughout and pb cookie dough in the middle), Brownie Stuffed (chocolate chip cookie with ooey, gooey brownie in the middle), Monster (packed with Oreos and M&Ms), Mocha Truffle (chocolate with a hit of espresso, a melty center, and rolled in Oreo dust), Chocolate Chip (an oversized classic). All cookies were soft with just the right amount of mix-ins. You might want to grab some Hoover's milk (available in a variety of flavors) to wash it all down. Definitely give them a follow. You won't be disappointed in the sweet concoctions they bake up, plus they show their cookie line-up for the day. I think I was about halfway home when I realized the name probably related to the gooey goodness of their thick supersized cookies. I always say I like my cookies like I like my steak - medium rare - so naturally I'm a fan of their chewy cookies. I ordered the half-baked sundae for $7.50. You pick a cookie, a flavor of ice cream, and two toppings. They have several flavors of Perry's ice cream, as well as vanilla and chocolate custard. I chose a sea salted caramel cookie, vanilla custard, hot caramel sauce, and chocolate chips. They topped it with a dollop of whipped cream. So yummy. I could only finish half the cookie so my husband enjoyed the rest at home. Individual cookies are $4, and they are sized like a $4 cookie, or $3.50 for a dozen or more. Their ice cream cones begin at $1.25 for a tiny cone so prices are as good if not better than any other place dishing up Perry's. They also have a bunch of other sundaes, or you can create your own from their extensive topping bar. Service is excellent. I found this place via a Facebook comment where someone said it was better than Crumbl. As a Crumbl addict, I started following them on Instagram and saw the daily list of a dozen plus flavors and the mouth-watering photos. I decided to finally visit last week on a rainy day. It was pretty slow since it was a weekday and there was plenty of seating. They also have high chairs which I appreciated. I got four cookies and split two of them with my daughter. I saved the other two to give to a friend for her birthday. We got classic chocolate chip, salted caramel, apple cider and carnival (I think! Had m&ms). The cookies are huge, were all still warm and gooey on the inside. They were delicious and I had to stop myself from eating all of them. The prices went up to $18 for 4 the day I went which is pricy but it was due to inflation and you are supporting a local business. The variety is insane and it seems to be like Paula's Donuts where they just keep rolling them out all day and put them out warm on the counter. I live about a half hour from here so I'm not sure if I would return unless I was out that way but the cookies are definitely delicious. It's hard to compare to Crumbl as it's like oranges to apples. Half baked are more thick and better quality overall IMO and most don't have frosting. It also depends on what kind of cookie you are looking for. Crumbl's are more flat and some of the flavors are more unique. read more

Wow...these cookies are amazing! We got there about 20 minutes after they opened so they had a very good selection of their 6 oz cookies available! We decided to get a 6 pack - they seem to have staple flavors and then specialty flavors that are around for a certain amount of time. We got a specialty flavor which was the "pot of gold" - it was a chocolate cookie with gold on top, and when you open it m&ms poured out! So fun. I also really loved their Cookie Monster and the peanut butter lovers! All the cookies were still warm you can also get an ice cream sundae made with one of the cookies as well! These cookies are heavy - they do not skimp on ingredients. I liked that It was very clean inside. Huge mistake, I'M Hooked! I have a neighbor friend to thank (or blame) for me having tried Half Baked's cookies. Delicious is an understatement, and I swore I would never pay $4+ for any cookie......until trying these! Effective pricing structure to entice you to purchase more than one cookie at a time, along with a customer loyalty program as an added bonus. Worth the money as these cookies are shareable they are so large. Several different and very creative flavors and these cookies look great as well. Nicely displayed with an additional SMALL selection containing nuts as well as a limited gluten free offering. Very well trained/helpful and patient staff on my first visit; my return visit was no different at this Lockport location. Very clean. Good news? A second location in Williamsville/Amherst has just opened in August '23 on Sheridan Drive. I'm sure it is an equally good offering from the entrepreneur owner. I wish her continued success. I can't wait to try the new location soon. Its opening, and a nice piece on the owner's background, were featured in The Buffalo News. As others have said, run don't walk to your closest Half Baked. Also got regular chocolate chip, which I liked, but was a little dry maybe? I think it's the kind of dough. Reminds me of a mix of cookie, scone, biscuit hybrid. Not bad by any means, but maybe in need of more butter & salt, & less flour. I did like that it wasn't overly sweet. My only claim to cookie baking skill is because of the Toll House bag recipe, so who knows. It's probably just a preference thing. I use salted butter in all of my baked goods, again a preference. This place is a welcomed addition to Lockport. The staff is a little slow and unorganized but the cookies erase any negativity I have passing through the line. The cookies are huge and I can eat off on one at least 4 times... or eat one in my car parked in an abandoned lot so I won't be judged... This is my 2nd time here. I decided to try the half baked Sundae. I got a monster cookie with vanilla custard and m&m's. It was so good and massive. In fact, I'm still eating it right now. The cafe itself is cute but sort of bland. It needs some artwork on the walls. They have different types of 6oz cookies everyday. Monster and Funfetti are by far my favorite. I took one star off because I feel like they run out of cookies pretty fast and then you are left waiting around for them to finish. Came here to try out what's new in the Lockport area. I came closer to closing so i didn't expect much variety but was surprised at the selection. I ended up with the fruity pebbles, a regular oatmeal cookie and a literally TINY "ice cream cone". Fruity pebbles cookie was pretty good but felt like the cereal on top was stale? Oatmeal cookie was good was kind of cold. I don't think i really like the idea of thick, half baked cookies but glad i tried it. Amazing cookies, kind owner. We purchased a ton of cookies, all different flavors, to use as baby shower favors... 120 to be exact. She individually wrapped and labeled them. And they were ready to go at the requested pick up time. They were a HUGE hit, our guests LOVED them. They also freeze really well!
