The cup is large but the last few times I've ordered this, I've noticed they don't fill the cup all the way, which is a bit of a bummer. Plus, the distribution of mix-ins isn't the most even - Last time all the cheesecake pieces were at the top while all the Butterfinger was at the bottom. Prices are a little higher but in 2026, everything is priced higher and they are THE ice cream spot in Medina. For Mother's Day 2026, it was cool and windy, so we didn't stay once we finished eating. For dinner, mom ordered a turkey burger, no mayonnaise (this comes topped with lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise), I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich with all the toppings (lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise), and we split a basket of fries. It took about 15 minutes before our food was ready, but everything was made-to-order, so it all was incredibly fresh and hot! Even though the food is basic, The Hojack does a great job! We were sad to see they weren't serving their ice cream nachos, so we decided to go elsewhere for dessert (plus we were freezing at this point haha). Same as most everywhere else you'd stop in WNY. Since many of these ice cream shops are alike, I want them to do something extra to stand out a little. Otherwise, I'd just go to Dairy Queen. Don't get me wrong -- I love supporting locally owned businesses. In fact, I'm usually willing to spend a little more locally when I feel good about where my money is going. I don't feel that way here. The service was sub-par. The ice cream was meh. The sundaes are basically ice cream with a cheap toupee. A very ill-fitting, cheap toupee.
