Wow! What a hidden gem in Oceanside. I got the Kitchen Sink burrito with their jalapeno lime sauce to go on top and LOVED every bite. Even with maps, finding this place takes some good eyes because the signage is small but I was more than ecstatic to find this place. Great flavors with everything inside, and I LOVED the garlic tots. Green hot sauce was great. Coffee flavor was fine, but not the star of the show. Food was nice and hot (I ordered ahead about 10 minutes before I got there). When I got there the guy was talking with the only other customer inside and it was almost like he didn't notice us. No welcome or even a head nod. I grabbed our food and eventually he asked how the food was when we were finishing up. The seating in the middle of the room is on top of a drainage spot it seemed so it was very uncomfortable and I moved immediately. I have been back many times and have always received stellar service. One time l ordered the brisket burrito and a bacon one for my husband. I bit into the one labeled "brisket" and quickly was able to figure out it was bacon and not brisket. I was bringing these items home but was eating mine on the drive back. So now l was wondering if the burrito labeled brisket was bacon or was it something else. I went back in to ask because l didnt want to chew into my husband's burrito but ultimately did need to so we could find out for sure. They ended up just switching the stickers by mistake. But after thinking about it (my favorite was the pastrami and it was my first time trying the brisket), l said l would pay for another one to be made but a pastrami one. She wouldnt take my money and l was impressed. The service alone earns my respect. Their delicious burritos will also earn my returns. Love this place, their food and the service! Please, please, PLEASE bring back the peach colored spicy sauce that's creamy. They had it early on but then when they ran out they no longer carried it. Honestly burritos are delicious. The hashbrowns add a nice change of texture and flavor. I went with sausage. They have two hot sauces, the green one is for me, its almost like a tomatillo type green sauce. The red is smoky and sweet which my husband prefers. Theyre training up staff on the register, and theyre all very nice. The ambiance is kid friendly which is great, we have a little one so anywhere that we can bring him with high chairs and where he is free to roam is great.
