Excellent selection, great prices. I won't post the same pics that everyone else already has, they also have a great website with pictures and names of the doughnuts they carry. I love apple fritters and I would have gotten one if they didn't have BLUEBERRY fritters available. MMMMMMM. before I go any further, 1 dozen doughnut holes with yelp check in!! Getting a half dozen is a better deal, go wild and pick your favorites. There are some very creative options, some funny names, some artistic designs and also all of the classics. I seem to always get doughnuts on vacation, so just following an semi-tradition. check out their website for details. read more

Really bad first visit! Have read numerous reviews and was so looking forward to Amy's. They advertise Kolaches! Employee had NO clue what I was talking about....Beyond Disappointed! And the donuts, I guess that is what they are called at Amy's, were at the best 3 day old dried up, inedible piece of bread, dough.... read more

The selection of donuts was astounding but a bit overwhelming...so of course we got a dozen donuts! You can even pick your filling and they will fill your donut right then and there! Love this place! I live out of state and ordered some donuts to be delivered to my son in ABQ for his birthday. Shortly after placing my order, I called the store and received a prompt reply by a friendly female. This store was so accommodating, they even wrote a little message on the box on my behalf without hesitation. Superb customer service! I highly recommend them! read more

Folks kept telling me that Amy's Donuts was Crazy! Of course, I didn't believe them. What the heck, it's just dough & icing . . . maybe a few sprinkles. Boy was I wrong. Dead wrong! It's not like choosing between chocolate iced and glazed. I'm telling you standing in front of those enormous display cases is like choosing from a library of flavors and icings and sprinkles. Some tried and true, some that you couldn't have imagined a few moments ago. My very first Amy's donut was a strawberry cheesecake one. Fresh strawberries on top; cheesecake filling inside. Messy as all get-out, but I didn't waste a morsel. Licking my fingers. Yes, it was Crazy Dude! If you are a donut fan, you will never be able to decide. Just point at one, or two, or a dozen. Icing & sprinkles will be all over your chin. A smile on your face. Crazy! I am now a huge (Literally HUGE . . . I think I gained at least 2 lbs from that strawberry cheesecake donut!) Amy's Donut FAN! read more

This donut shop has more types of donuts than I even knew existed. From Elmo and worms in the mud to strawberry cheesecake, or if you're feeling like classic glazed, they have those too. Amy's is such a large space, they have tons of seating if you feel like visiting with your besties. What I really felt was thoughtful is that there's a little "neighborhood library" where you can take a book, leave a few for the neighborhood kids or just borrow one while you shamelessly chow down on half a dozen donuts... by yourself because they're pretty dang good! They are a bit on the pricy side, but sometimes it's nice to treat yourself, and this one sure is an experience. read more

The donuts were good. My family has gone here and recommended it to me. The only thing we all agree on is that they are a bit pricey. Three donuts were $7.00. They do offer fun looking donuts so I would buy for a party. read more

SO. MANY. DONUTS! I spent an unusual amount of time debating which donut to get (I chose The Marge and was still had a few shoulda-woulda-coulda moments) but you should get all of them! Amy knows her donuts thats for sure! We chose a fritter, which was HUGE, and three other non cake donuts. All were very very tasty and super fresh. This would be an ideal spot for a post amusement park snack or just your average donut moment. There is something for everyone. My only critique is the packaging, I wish it was more sustainable. They placed all four donuts in a styrofoam box even after informing them we would eat inside. I asked for less packaging like a few paper plates and they offered several more smaller styrofoam containers. Next time I will ask for donuts on a napkins. read more

Amy's Donut's is definitely worth a stop. It smells super sweet when you walk in but what else you expect out of a donut shop! Prepare yourself as there is a lot to look at! They have a very large selection of donuts with fun names and toppings. It's difficult to narrow it down to just one or two! I came in for one and left with a half dozen and a bag of donut holes too! I decided to start with a plain ole raised glazed donut along with an old fashioned blueberry and of course the iconic "homer". All of them were tasty! The raised donut was soft and airy, the glaze was not super thick chipping off with each bite like some others. The old fashion blue berry was not so super dense but just right. And the homer, it was delicious! I love their pink frosting! Its amazing with just the right amount of sweetness! A lot of the other donuts are quite decadent, loaded with toppings. Not sure if I will manage one of those but I know I will be back for the three I had. read more

Yum! This place has some of the most unique flavor combinations for donuts, as well as traditional. Best part: THE FILL BAR. You can have your donut filled with creme or jelly on the spot! They have Sesame Street characters for the kids, plus Heath bar donuts, strawberry cheesecake, strawberry shortcake, Oreos, everything. They even have a sink in the main area to wash up, because kids. I really love that they have a lot of yeast-based donuts instead of the cakey ones. They have those too if you like, but I prefer the lightness of the yeast ones. I wish I could come here more, if my arteries would allow it. They smoke the donut competition in the city. This is my new favorite donut spot. read more

Amy's how I do adore you but today you came eerily close to putting me in a pretty bad predicament. I ordered some donuts through Doordash because I wanted an afternoon sweet. I ordered an Andes Mint donut but what I got was a big ol peanut donut (mind you I have a peanut allergy) anyways much to my chagrin I could not indulge in my tasty treat without consequences. So because of this I knock you down two stars and also due to the fact that you blindly substituted it without asking me what my preference was. It's ok not my trash can can enjoy this treat that was supposed to make my evening better and now I'm forced to indulge in overly seasoned stale Pringles.. for shame Do better Amy's do better. read more

Googled "Best Donuts in ABQ" and "Amy's Donuts" was listed first. DUDES!!!!! No kidding. The Strawberry Shortcakes are A-MA-ZING. Such a treat from the run of the mill Dunkin and Krispy Kremes. Pricey - $10 for a half-dozen, but a nice treat for special occasions. Atmosphere - get it to go. Just so you know, they have samples for you to try!! That's pretty unique! If you check in here with Yelp, a free bag of doughnut holes is free of charge too! For some reasons, I searched for doughnut places and I ran into Amy's donut. From the reviews, it seemed like a good place to try so I did. As I walked in there, place was very spacious and bright! Not sure whether it's from the sun or the doughnut toppings, there were so many....too many (is there such a thing!?). If you plan to bring children here, make sure to have a signed agreement that they will choose and have only one doughnut...just a warning With three cases full of doughnuts, I decided to get ONLY half a dozen. I chose a few that I wanted to try; I also got the filled doughnut. For the filled doughnut, there are six flavors to choose from and they fill it there in front of you. If doughnuts are not for you, maybe try their doughnut holes. They are equally delicious! The texture of the doughnut is soft - very soft - even with the cake doughnuts. It's like I chewed pillows or clouds or cotton candy. To describe the softness of the doughnut, when I tried to remove it from the box, I had to be careful to not squeeze it to hard as it might disfigured. Will I go back again? Yes! Ahhhh.....donuts (excuse the drool) I am a foodie, and love good food and want to support local businesses. So this brings us to the new kid in town, Amy's donuts, a donut shop that Homer Simpson himself would leave Springfield for! I have looked for the "Homer" donut (strawberry with sprinkles) and it is hard to find done right. This little shop, has the "Homer" "Marge" and "chief Wiggins" donuts. Looking for your new breakfast donut? It's here! The maple bacon donut! It is a beautiful balance of sweet and savory, and it's a slice of heaven. They have an incredible selection and they are personable, quick, and even during a busy Saturday morning, the service is quick and comes with a smile. Also, they have hours that make you able to satisfy that donut craving when you get out a show, movie, or having to go to work in the early AM. The selection here should be able to satisfy your craving. As a retired EMT, I know my donuts... and this my new go to place for those sweet dough circles. There's nothing else to say but.. I always pass this shop on the way to work, so after looking for somewhere to go, remembered this place, and stopped by. I'm glad I did! The donuts are reasonably priced and are tasty too. I really loved the variety! There are even donuts for small children, like Elmo and Cookie Monster donuts! The seating area is big and when I went on a Sunday, it was packed, but there was still room for us to sit down. I also liked how there was a sink in the dining area, so you are easily able to wash your hands after eating all your sticky donuts! I'll be back again for sure! read more

Duke City, REJOICE!!!! The wallowing in sorrowful grief incurred by the shuttering of Duke City Donuts on Eubank can now be greatly mitigated, if not totally eliminated, with a trip to Amy's Donuts at the junction of San Mateo and Osuna. Prepare thyself for a veritable tsunami of delectably diverse choices to satiate your inner sugar freak. Gobzillions of choices in the cases, as attested by the many pics here on Yelp. And they're very imaginative choices too. Check your expectations of standard donutry at the door. This place will stretch your brain, while simultaneously expanding your waistline and chewing just a little more off your budget than the standard national chain donut shops around town. For the nominal upcharge though, you get a HUGE quantum leap in quality. While the prices may initially look a little steep, you're definitely getting what you pay for: premium quality for the premium price. For my Friday morning fling I opted for the Elvis Donut that came slathered with peanut butter, banana slices, bacon bits, and a drizzle of chocolate sauce. Messier'n hell but oh so good! I couldn't help thinking to myself "Long Live The King!!" with every bite. It was that tasty. The ongoing project is going to be to try as many varieties as possible out of the pastry avalanche proffered in the cases. Gonna be a long, arduous, and fun trip for sure. Coffee this morning was plenty strong & robust. A sturdy sidekick for the busting out flavor brought by the donut. Total cost was a touch under $5 for a mighty fancy donut with 12 oz coffee. As good as Amy's tasty treats are, I think I may wind up selling essential, irreplaceable body parts to finance what I suspect is going to be a long term, illicit, gastronomically ruinous, and gustatorially delightful affair of the palate. If you find me there on the floor at Amy's in a donut coma, just call the EMT's to come gather up my carcass and stick a few to-go Elvis's in my pocket for the trip. Thanks in advance. read more

My favorite dessert is DONUTS! I've been to a few donut shops in Albuquerque/Santa Fe ( Bristols, Rebel, & Whoo's Donuts). While the previous mentioned donut shops rank VERY HIGH in quality - yum ....Amy's ranks high in providing a variety of novelty donuts. You'll definitely fiest your eyes upon alot of eye (donut) candy....prepare for a visual toothache. Strawberry Shortcake Donut was my fave! The line situation was a little disorderly and confusing. Sweetness..... This is a great new doughnut shop in town. Amy's has a plethora of flavors to choose from. Take it all in, that's the best advice I have for you the first time you go in. Interior: clean, spacious, lots of seating. When you enter I was greated by the employees and the shop had plenty of seating options. The tables and bar seating was well kept and clean. They even have usb/electric outlets on the walls for you to not only juice up your body with the sweet goodies but also your devices. I honestly forgot to check if they had Wi-Fi, it would be a great thing for someone to find out during their visit. Doughnuts: Where do I start, the number of choices were mind blowing. I took my time and just looked at all the options. They have the classic doughnuts you are used to at every doughnut shop and then that's where the "normal" stops and the creme brulè, strawberry cheesecake, and Elvis doughnut show up!!! The doughnuts were delicious, the flavors and textures were very well balanced. They even offered glazed doughnut holes to sample while you looked around. Give this great place and try. read more

These donuts were artwork... really lovely. I bought a half dozen, and my favorite was the blueberry fritter. Fresh and full of blueberry taste. My coworkers vouched for the rest, and I believe them because they were all scarfed up in record time. The service was full of good humor and they patiently walked me through the options... which took awhile because they legit have about 50 options. Not a bad price either at $10 for 6. We really enjoyed the donuts we tried. We went on their grand opening day, so it was chaotic and busy, which was to be expected. I did feel like they girls working the counter could have been a bit more informative, which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I'm gonna say it, and get some heat for it, but I loved Amy's way more than Rebel ‍ We definitely love the fact that you can have the long John's filled with whatever filling you want (we saw this online, and didn't know that the night we came in) Very excited that Amy's is here read more

The selection of doughnuts here is outrageous! If you love doughnuts and love a fun variety, look no further. I give 5 stars for the selection- what a great place to bring kids because they are sure to go crazy just exploring the colorful variety! I stopped in on a Monday morning to grab a dozen artery clogging doughnuts to bring to the office: I tried not to drop my jaw when I was told that a dozen would cost $19.99. This amounts to a whopping $1.66 per doughnut. Krispy Kremes typically break down to roughly .66 cents per doughnut, about a third of the cost of what Amy's is selling them for. Rebel Doughnut charges $11.99 for a dozen "classics". The selling point for the dozen at Amy's is that you can choose any specialty doughnut so you better pick some decadent premium ones. For a typical Monday at the office, people are fine with the standard variety of glazed and chocolate... I opted to add a couple of fun ones to my box like strawberry shortcake and turtle. I would not get a classic dozen from here for a typical day at the office but would maybe consider this place for a children's birthday party. My favorite was the red velvet doughnut! read more

We had been waiting for Amy's donuts to open so we could go there for our Mommy daughter date. It was very good and there are many great options to choose from. My daughter was so excited with all the flavors she could barely make up her mind. Needless to say we ended up with a couple different flavors. The environment was clean, nice and inviting, with plenty of seating and although they were busy the wait did not take long at all. My only complaint was that particular favors we looking forward to trying were sold out which was disappointing that they were not making more. We were also really hoping it was the same as the one we visited in Henderson, NV. It was similar but not quite the same.
