They have a huge selection of donuts with different options for cream filling. Everything I have tried is delicious but the menu can be a little overwhelming if you don't at least have an idea what you want when you go in there. The staff is always patient though so no need to feel rushed while attempting to make a decision. Definitely a great place for unique donut flavors and options. read more

How does a donut shop run out of coffee at 8am? I thought the cashier was messing with me but she was serious. And making glaze donuts and frosting them with colored frosting/ sprinkles and attaching Simpsons characters name to them doesn't make them better. It just allows them to charge you more for it. ive been recurring customer (loyal customer) of Amy's for year, however over the last 6 months this establishment service and product availability has gone down hill. The last 10 visits to Amy's they did not have the donuts we like and they did not have the Bavarian cream filling. When ask why , I was given the excuse we ran out! Super awkward atmosphere when I walked in. The employees made me uncomfortable because they quite literally stared at me the entire time and it was super quiet in there. They just didn't give me time to look at the different flavors and options so I felt rushed. Also, I had to use the bathroom and they told me I couldn't because it was "closed" (I came in at 8:30pm and they closed at 10pm) I was pretty upset because that just sounded like a load of crap. Great donut shop in the ABQ area. We stopped here to pick up donuts (and an Apple fritter) for my son's birthday. Donuts looked great and tasted even better. Store was clean and smelled great and the staff was very friendly. We were excited to see that two of these stores opened not too far from home as well so we'll have to give it a try again soon! read more

OMG! Y'all - it's donut Disneyland up in here! I've never ever seen so many different donuts in one place! I'm the girl who never gets overwhelmed by having too many choices and I was beyond overwhelmed. We ended up getting a free bag of donut holes thanks to the Yelp check in offer and a Strawberry glazed. WOW!!! Everything was so tasty! It was super sweet and sugary but perfect! After ordering online for curbside pickup, we got an email with a time for pickup. On arrival I parked and waited 5 minutes past the pickup time, then decided to go inside. At the door there's a handmade sign instructing curbside customers to call when you get there. Only problem is it's behind you when you park. Once inside, the staff did not have the order ready, and didn't even have the tablet used for online orders turned on. Now these are small issues in the long run, but when I got the box back home we found that half the order was wrong, and one of the bars had just been smashed on top, smearing chocolate on the box lid. I pass Amy's Donuts every day on my way to work. Every day I am running just a tad late and see that there's a line inside, so I just keep driving. Today that changed. I was in full fried dough withdrawals and I HAD to stop. I didn't WANT a donut. I NEEDED a donut. Of course an eight member conference group got ahead of me and was just overwhelmed by the selection. Just pick a donut lady. At least the wait gave me time to make my mind up. Today he ordered a halloween donut that looked like a mummy. I'll quote him when he said, "This mummy is yummy in my tummy." (He's 5) He also ate a dirt and worms which he loved as well. I ordered an "old fashioned blueberry" and chocolate sprinkles. Their "old fashioned" donuts are much thicker and sweeter than the fluffy, pillow donuts we know and love these days. Stopped in after some Thai Vegan and saw Amy's had a free bag of donut holes with a purchase and check in on yelp. So why not, sweet right. The husband got the Nutella marshmallow and I got the Pumpkin Pie and our friend got the Old Fashioned. All were very tasty, moist, soft and fluffy. Every time I go to Amy's Donuts, I have a plan....I really do. I tell myself that I know exactly what I want and I'm just going to get in and out. But standing in front of those long donut cases with multiple colors, shapes, sizes and flavors & toppings, my plan falls apart! What if there's a new donut? Do I really want the chocolate glazed or should I get the red velvet? Wait-- there are donuts with Kit-Kats, s'mores and snickers? It feels like minutes fly by while I'm weighing all the options.
