I haven't been to Amy's donuts in quite a while and just finished having dinner with my boys and said to stop in as I was driving by. The gentleman, the front counter was friendly and polite. The place was pretty empty. There wasn't anybody in there but me, but it was still nice and inviting stacked fairly well.. I got a chocolate eclair and then he stuffed it with the Bavarian cream for me.. Nothing amazing but wasn't that bad either. The apple fritter was pretty big but it didn't have a single piece of apple in the entire thing. Hardly any apple flavor either. I've driven past here so many times, but have never stopped in. I like that they have longer hours to stop in. My son asked to get a donut, we typically get them on FriYays to celebrate a successful week of making it to school on-time and doing all of his work. An embarrassing display of business practices. On a weekday evening, we ordered a dozen donuts to be delivered to us. Not only did the delivery take over an hour to take place, once our ordered arrived it was wrong -- 4 donuts, none that we requested -- not one of any that we requested, were delivered to us. The quality of the donuts were so bad that we threw them away immediately. Because, of course, why would we want something we didn't order and especially because they looked awful. Like they were quickly stuff in a box and throw in a car to be sent out way. The chocolate was dripping around the box and the glaze was crushed as it sloppily laid in the box. We called Amy's Donuts and they offered nothing. No help for recovering 4 donuts instead of 12. Nothing to correct the issue, like offer the correct order a different day or maybe a coupon? Nothing. Anyway, we called the delivery service and they also had nothing to fix the situation with. Anyway, such a disappointment and not ordering or stepping into this shop. read more

It was recently my nephew's birthday and instead of going and grabbing a birthday cake they wanted to do a birthday donut situation instead. I knew Amy's would be the perfect spot to grab some fun and creative donuts. They have such a huge selection of flavors, including some really next level decorations. They had a few Sesame Street donuts that had little faces on them and that's what we got the birthday boy. Other than that, they can have such a wide variety of flavors and the donuts are solid. A Sweet Late-Night Surprise in Albuquerque! We were in Albuquerque for the weekend to catch a concert and stumbled upon this gem of a place on our way back to our BNB. Everyone in our group had a serious sweet tooth, and we were thrilled to find that Amy's Donuts was open until 10:00 PM -- especially since it was already creeping up on 9:45! The two young gentlemen working that night were incredibly kind and patient with us, even though we were all indecisive with so many delicious options to choose from. I really appreciate that they are open super early for those of us workers who go in super early, very little wait time. The service was very good. Everyone was very on it (especially considering it was pre-6am when I went in). But the donuts themselves are just.... Meh. They're cuter than they taste. Kind of pricey. A good place to go for these kinds of donuts is Duck Donuts in Las Vegas.

Even though there was a rather large sign indicating that they were open, I still wasn't sure if Amy's Donuts was open because it looks closed from the outside...but I gave it a try. To my surprise and joy they were open and actually had a nice crowd when I arrived. I got six donuts including two glazed, two cinnamon, and two powdered sugar. The powdered sugar and cinnamon donuts were filled with raspberry, strawberry, lemon, and Boston cream. They have other flavors as well but these are the ones for which I opted. The customer service was great and although they were busy there were still several tables available for patrons. Location has ample parking and easy access. I highly recommend Amy's Donuts and will definitely be back . read more

They have such a giant selection of donuts here it was sensory overload for me, but I picked two and brought them home to try them. The first one was almond Joy. I really expected the donut to taste like almond Joy, but all I tasted wasnt sugar it was a good doughnut. The texture was excellent, but I just didn't get an almond Joy taste. The next one was the crème brûlée. Again, the donut was excellent however, the toppings subpar the fruit was a nice addition however I wish that the Brulé was a little bit more charred with that burnt sugar crack. We stood in the lobby for about 10 minutes without any acknowledgment or attempts to take our order or inform us if we were ready. We have always loved this place until recently, we had a couple bad experiences lately so I called to talk to a manager and was told good luck they only work from 9 to 11am when they show up. I was able to contact a manager the next day and they were just as rude as associates so I asked for district manager. We've drove by this donut shop many times and finally decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint. The donuts were fluffy and flavorful. Just little pillows of yumminess! My daughter is a harsh critic of donuts and she loved it! There are so many flavors, it's a bit overwhelming. The set up is cute, you can play table games. There's hot coffee which is amazing.
