Jin was friendly and efficient and got the job done. He sealed off all the entry points for the rats/mice, trapping them under the house so they were no longer coming into the main house. He set traps in the house but after his sealing off the entry points, there was no more evidence of rats/mice inside. YAY! The service was reasonably priced and well worth it to have them totally take care of the problem. read more

This is the only pest company that the spray they use actually works!!!The customer service is even better Christian is so nice and professional such a relief I havent had a problem with bugs anymore Thank you!! read more

After moving into our new home, that sat empty for a couple month we came across a lot of spiders. The house is very close to Mission Trails so we expected we would see a lot more bugs there. Having Hunt's come out the first time helped a lot and the bug population has started to die down. Hunt's always shows up early and are very well priced. Each time someone comes out they have a knowledge on what kind of spider we have been seeing and if they are harmless or not. We are very happy with their service. read more

After purchasing a home about a month ago, we quickly discovered that we had an ant and cricket problem inside and out. After trying to manage the issue myself and going through a few cans of Raid, I gave in and decided to find a company to come and treat my home. I read many reviews and contacted a few pest control companies to obtain quotes. Most were higher in price and others were either rude or not very responsive. I contacted Hunt's due to the many great reviews. Liz got back to be shortly after leaving a message and got straight to the point as to treatment options. She was never pushy about getting us on an every other month service but did recommend it. She says to me "lets just see how it goes"...no pressure, I love that! A couple days later Jesus came to my home to spray indoors and out. He arrived early, sprayed the yard and perimeter. He pointed out some areas where we needed to replace weather stripping along with any other gaps that allowed for pests to come in. Jesus was great about addressing our questions. He never seemed to be in a rush which I appreciated. Upon our request, he addressed the crickets first staying we could do the ants once the cricket-specific formula took effect. He came back a couple days later to use a different chemical for the ants. No charge for the return trip! Something important to note - Hunt's guarantees their work so if you see another pest they will come out for no additional charge. It has only been a week or so since our first two treatments. We haven't had a cricket or ant issue since. We look forward to continuing to do business with Hunt's. I have already recommended the service to my mother in law who in the last few days signed up for monthly treatments. I will continue to recommend them any chance I get. Thanks to Liz and Jesus for your excellent customer service, responsiveness and promptness! read more

I had a mouse problem and couldn't sleep. I messaged the business from Yelp around 10:30 at night and received a message back almost right away. Christian came out the next day, inspected the house, and sealed up all of the gaps under the house and inside of the house where the mice could be coming in. He laid out bait boxes on the outside and traps on the inside. The next day, there were two dead mice in the traps. Christian called to check up on the situation and offered to come remove the dead mice. The following week he came and refilled the bait boxes and checked things around the house. Every time I have seen him or spoken with him he is very friendly and professional. He took time to answer all of my questions and made me feel comfortable in my home again. read more

I am extremely pleased with their services and have had a spider free bug free home since retaining them for my pest needs! The girls who answer their phones are extremely sweet and always helpful. Their prices are extremely competitive. I highly, highly recommend their services. read more

Great service, reliability and communication. Listens to the concerns/issues we observe and addresses them as well as follows up.

Girl that answers the phone is nice, and knowledgeable! That initial impression is everything. They came out within a few days on my initial set up. We had just moved to Lakeside and noticed rodent droppings all over the patio and ants inside. They sprayed and put bait stations around. Weeks later the ants found another way in and when I called the same super nice girl assured me she would get them back out quickly, they came same day! Ants are gone again. The workers are friendly, clean, you get emails with their names after they do work in case you need it later. I highly recommend! read more

Happy with their service. Christian always come to my house on time. Very good service. Highly recommended. read more

Initial quote and setup was very simple. Their email communication has a response rate of about a day. So they should get back to you the next day or sooner. They have the traditional pesticides and the organic version. We had to go for the organic version since we have a one-year old toddler. The appointment was set for 8AM to 9AM. Christian showed up at the front door at exactly 8AM! Very punctual! Signed some paperwork and Christian got to work immediately. He sprayed all of the areas including front and back yard. He also got rid of spider webs around the house and the pesky hornet nest above our garage. We had problems with crickets, spiders, and black windows. Hope things will get better! Since it is organic pesticide, they will return every month. They also spray inside the house as well; but I chose not to do that until it is absolutely necessary. read more

Last Summer we came home from vacation to an ant infestation. We were in desperate need of a pest service asap! We read all the Yelp! reviews and called Hunt's first. Not only were they very professional, but also pleasant and accommodating. I was really worried about the chemicals/ pesticides with 2 little kids and a dog. The tech talked me through everything and went above and beyond to listen and help. We have had Hunt's pest service for almost a year now, and I can't say enough great things about them! Our house is pest (we had black + brown widows in the back yard too!) free and it's great. Their customer service + personal touch (Haley sends personalized text reminders the day before your scheduled service) really is amazing. I have recommend Hunt's Pest Solutions to many friends + neighbors, and I highly recommend to you too! read more

Amazing Customer service! I Recently moved to San Diego from South Florida and ran into an unusual flea problem in my backyard. I reached out to Hunt's via their website and received a call that very day and schedule an appt. When our tech Jenny showed up she was courteous, down to earth and knowledgeable. One day after Jenny treated the area you can see the difference. Thank you so much! read more

Jin was punctual, thorough and personable. I have been extremely pleased with Hunts. An efficient and effective company.

I interviewed and priced a lot of pest control services before giving Hunts a try, and I'm so glad I chose Hunts! They give excellent service--from the receptionist to the technician. And the technician emails you after he has visited the property to let you know how everything is looking and performing. My tenant's rodent problem is drastically diminished! read more

Christian and i talked on the phone about an on going earwig issue my wife and i have been battling for some time on our own. We had to call in a professional because the stuff thats sold at home depot just doesnt work. Christian came out to my house, was prompt, super restpectful and extremely thorough. Listened to all i had to say in regards to our pest issues such as earwigs, spiders and whatnot. He was in and out in less than an hour, and that included spraying the entire property, all the eves on the overhang of the roof, and cleaning all the cobwebs and spiderwebs. His pricing is amazing, cant beat it. Once every two months for what were being charged is fine by me. We now know were going to not have to worry about spiders and any other bug that wants to try and get in the house. Thank you again Christian and we look forward to doing business with you in the future. - The Guths. read more

Reliable, easy to talk to, effective... My favorite pest company so far after dealing with many others.

I have never seen a bedbug in my life and I always thought I would never get them.. But I did and it was one if the most stressful time my family and I had to go through. I started noticing welts after waking up in the morning on and off for about three months and I thought they were mosquito bites. Until last month the bites became regular. I threw away an old couch coz I thought it was that. I googled insect bites and one that came up was about bedbugs. So i googled some more and bought this fog spray from walmart thinking that would do it. It just made it worse. I woke up everyday with more bites. That's when I called Hunts. They were able to squeeze me in early the next day-which was a weekend. Christian came to inspect and confirmed we had bedbugs! I was shocked and I wanted them gone! Even though I had a stressful experience with bedbugs, I was glad that I found Hunts Pest Solutions here on Yelp to help me end that ordeal. The quote was reasonable. Christian treated us like family. And I did learn a lot about bedbugs. Haylee who answers the calls is very nice too! I am so thankful and I will in a heartbeat use this company again! read more

ASK FOR JIN. Super friendly and courteous. Listen and responsive to customer's questions and requests. Very knowledgeable. Good communication skill. On time appointment. Quality and thorough work. A well deserved 5-star performance. Highly recommended for future work. Thanks Jin. read more

No one wants to have to deal with "Spiders" or any other bug in their home. They initially sent out a guy months back to spray but came back bc I have a broken screen door that my landlord has yet to seem to want to fix. ARGH! They sent Jenny over and I couldn't believe any woman would be working in this type of creepy crawly work environment, so I was already impressed! She was right on time both times and extremely professional and knowledgeable regarding diff bugs, and spiders. She definitely puts you at ease and makes sure to get every nook and cranny inside your home. She also noticed there may be possible termites in the roof so that's another thing- I was impressed by her overall familiarity with the whole process and other possible issues. I try to request Jenny now and will work around her schedule bc she does a great thorough job. Hailey in the office is great too-very friendly & helpful! Overall I would definitely recommend this company for all of your pest issues! Two huge thumbs up!! read more

I highly recommend Hunt's Pest Solutions. I have used several pest control companies over the past few years. Hunt's has out performed them all. Jesus came out and took care of our issues right away. He was knowledgable, professional and prompt. Thanks guys!!! read more

This review is long overdue. Christian is a true professional and deserves every star possible here. He has now been to my home on 3 separate occasions for various treatments and each time leaves me feeling like I received my money's worth. Not only are the bugs going away, but Christian takes care of you like family. It had been almost a year since the last time he came to treat our house --- and he had no problem making to my house with one day's notice. His memory is impeccable, remembering minor details I can hardly remember sharing during his visit. Take it for what its worth, but I value that in a businessman and a person. I will continue to recommend Hunt's Pest Solutions to any of my friends/family that are having bug problems, which seems all too common in the San Diego area. Thank you Christian --- you are a pro and deserve 10 stars if I could give them to ya! -Matt read more

We live close to La Mesa and have ants and widows (both black and brown) to spare. Hunt's fixed that for us. They are very, very reasonably priced, offer follow-ups at no charge, and their staff is extremely knowledgeable. We've had two different technicians out to help us, and both were professional and friendly, and always answered all my questions. I highly recommend this company. read more

My tenant called to tell me there was something in the attic making noise, so I called HPS. The young man that came out looked around the property and told me he suspected rats had accessed the attic via the air vents that were not covered with screening. To save a little cash I blocked the air vents and he set traps in the attic. Sure enough, on his next weekly visit, two were dead in the traps. He told me that they would be hard to trap after that, as rats are smart and will not approach a trap after what they saw happen. He didn't trap anymore after 4 weekly visits, but the noise is gone, so I hope the problem is solved. They did a great job at a fair price. I would highly recommend their services. read more

We've been using Hunt's for the last 2ish years. I've had nothing but great things to say about them. Super responsive, technicians were helpful and polite, would always come out and retreat if we were having problems. Overall just a great company to work with. Recently received a notice that they were merging with Orkin. I received a confirmation email that our routine service was completed. Thought it was strange bc I'm a stay at home mom and they usually knock on the door. Didn't think too much of it. Then again at our next service, I received an email for completed service. This time my husband and I had been working in the yard all day and knew no one had showed up. I called several times but no one answered. I left a voicemail and days went by with no response. Finally emailed and received a response. Was told that they were having phone issues. Apologized but didn't offer any explanation... Just offered to send a technician out. Unfortunately, I lost trust in them and cancelled our service. We recently moved out of state but kept our house as a vacation rental and need a more reliable company. read more

Jesus, Christian and even Haley (Admin) were fast, professional, courteous and thorough! They checked the entire perimeter of our house, top, bottom and beneath. Good quality companies are so hard to find in San Diego, but Yelp got this one right for sure. I'm glad that I found Hunt's. read more

I thought Christian was clean cut, well-spoken, humbly confident, knowledgeable, and justifiably afraid of my dogs, but respectful nonetheless. My dogs were home during the organic inside service, but I didn't have to clean anything up (except their water bowls), I was also in the house when he treated (it smelled pretty, actually). Inside: organic; outside: regular pesticide. Ask for owner Christian Hunt. Tell him the crazy lady from Sharp with the two raging blue pit bulls referred him. Bonded/licensed. After service, he sends an email to let you know the service was completed, what exact products were used. Then you get a thank you card in the mail! Their website has a Customer Portal, you can pay your bill, schedule your services, read about pertinent topics, etc. Post-service, I saw a few ants in the (wild) backyard, and I told Christian. He came to the house the next day, at a specific time, and that was that. No bugs, no pests ever since he sprayed inside (organic) and out. He sent a lovely, classy thank you card in the mail for using his services, and he also followed up through email to make sure all was well and that I was happy. My main concern was using organic on the inside, because I was thinking it wouldn't work as well as toxic chemicals. However, I've seen no creepy crawlies inside at all, and I finally feel comfortable actually sitting on my own family room floor with my doggies and not have to be watchful for moving things around that aren't us. Gross. I have three cats and two large dogs, and everyone goes in and out the doggy door constantly to a semi-landscaped (wild) backyard. And no fleas. I just had my indoor/outdoor pseudo-feral cat groomed, and the groomer was marveling at how my cat had NO FLEAS. That is amazing. No pet has fleas in my house. It's hot. It's summer. I have a wild backyard. No fleas. No ants. No spiders. No pill bugs sneaking in. I'm also in the middle of demolition throughout the house, some of it to outside walls, and was having a difficult time with things crawling in through the outside walls while all the construction has been going on. I haven't seen anything since Christian sprayed, though. I'm so sold on Hunt's service. I'm pitching him to my large healthcare organization, especially for the organic inside services. Everybody should consider this!! read more

We bought a house a couple years ago and have recently started having issues with rats in the attic. I've had to contact numerous times because they keep finding ways in! Christian (or Jesus, or Jeff, whichever Haley sends out lol) keep coming right back out to fix the new spots and repair the old ones. Hopefully it's all under control now. They're amazing people and a blast to chat/work with but I'd be happy not to see any of them for a while. :) read more

I've been very happy with the service Christian has provided us. I give 4 out of 5 stars only because I've had a couple administrative mix ups I've needed to call about, but nothing that would keep me from continuing to use their service. Christian came out right away and I've seen a huge difference with the amount of spiders at our house. He was great working around the home, we have a lab and kids toys everywhere. He was thorough and even called me the first visit to explain everything he did. I really appreciated his follow through. I would definitely recommend them for the great quality of service at a great price. read more

Yesterday I called Hunt's Pest Solutions because I was being held hostage in my house by thousands of fleas. I couldn't walk from the front door to the car (20 ft) without several hundred fleas blanketing each leg. They set an appointment for between 2:00 - 4:00 today. Christian arrived shortly after 2:00, introduced himself, and explained exactly what he would be doing. Not only did he spray around the house and yard, he also sprayed under the house, and will be coming back in 10 days to respray. He said if that doesn't take care of them, he'll keep coming back until they're all gone. Christian was prompt, friendly, courteous, professional, and caring. All of those qualities in one person, who provides a service, is hard to find nowadays. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would! read more
