This place is pretty great! The service is superb and the staff is super polite. Their desserts are excellent and so is their Turkish coffee. This place is pretty new! The inside is very clean and the seats are pretty comfortable. One thing I also really like about the place is ambiance-- big open windows and it's not too loud where you'd have to yell to be able to hear the person next to you. I definitely recommend this place!

Well, talk about a hidden gem. I had this place bookmarked but could not tell you where I heard…read moreabout it. It is basically a little luncheon oasis dropped right in the middle of a gigantic industrial park. On the drive over I was seriously questioning my Yelp choices. It is that kind of location. But trust Yelp and sometimes you are handily rewarded, which we absolutely were. We came after a few hours strolling around at the Botanical Gardens, so we rolled in around 1:30 and there were still plenty of people there. I can only imagine at noon this place is packed, and honestly it should be. My biggest complaint is the menus. There is one above the counter that does not include everything, and then a different, more complete version if you scan the QR code at the table (But 2 different navigations even on the website with slightly different menus). Do yourself a favor and look it up ahead of time so you are not standing there making panic decisions. There is a half sandwich and half soup combo (Not on the board but online menu), which is definitely the move. I got the pozole, which you should absolutely order, and a half grilled cheese on their housemate sourdough. Normally not my go to, but I was trying not to be completely stuffed since we had dinner plans. And they bake their own sourdough, so I had a strong feeling it would be great, and it delivered. Toasty and melty, American and cheddar. My husband got the southwestern wrap, and my friend went with the half club and half tomato soup. She immediately regretted not getting the pozole and the half birria sandwich, which tells you everything you need to know. Also need to mention the snickerdoodle. Not much to look at, kind of humble, but it completely makes up for it with flavor and that perfect soft texture. Go ahead and get the cookie. You are not here to make responsible decisions. Bottom line, it may feel like you are driving into the middle of nowhere, but keep going. This place is worth it.

This is exactly the kind of hole in the wall lunch spot you'll miss if you're not paying attention…read more I literally drove past it twice before realizing it was right there. It's also one of those "if you know, you know" places, and clearly people know, because the to-go orders were nonstop. The second you walk in, you're hit with cases of fresh baked bread, and pastries. The almond pistachio croissant was the biggest one I've ever seen and had me drooling before I even placed my order. It is counter service, and I went with a Mediterranean sandwich with chicken while my lunch date got a classic BLT. Both were incredible, super fresh ingredients, excellent flavor, and next level fresh bread/ flatbread. Try the sourdough ! You can tell this place is legit because you see everyone in there from construction workers, people, in scrubs, law-enforcement, executives, all grabbing lunch. When that many hard-working people trust a spot, you know it's got to be good. If you're in Garland, add this place to your must try list. It is an excellent lunch spot.

And even then it took us a few years to finally drop in and give this place a try. Not sure if this is the first or second restaurant in this location since the changeover. So finally today we stopped in. The inside was much larger than I expected it to be. It was very fresh and clean on the inside. The inside had a little bit of a 1950's vibe with its light turquoise padded booths and chairs. Along with fresh clean walls and similar tones of turquoise, it was a very refreshing visit. The restaurant was sort of divided into two sections. The main dining area and a smaller area on the side with mexican sweets, sweet breads etc. It is a nice little area to come for coffee and a treat for breakfast. They also have bread and tortillas for purchase. I ordered the fried tilapia and grilled veggies. The tilapia was very good but I didn't care for the veggies. Also came with rice. There was a lot of food on that plate and the piece of fish was big too!!! The prices were good. Staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely be going back.

The hotdog silog was everything I expected and the two eggs went perfectly with it. Finding the place was a little disconcerting for an introvert like me. The small restaurant is inside of an unassuming office building. However, it was easy to find once you figure out the numbered suites. When you come in, it reminds me of all the mom and pop Asian spot with a counter and small tables placed by the windows. The menu was a mix of American and Filipino fare. I went for the Filipino food, b/c I'm not that great cooking a homemade meal. They have a daily special called the "Solo meal" that changes weekly. Decided to try the Tuesday special and some ube pancakes. The ube pancakes came out first and it was really pretty. It came with whipped cream and a housemade ube sauce. It was really good. It's an Asian sweet, so it had a light sweet taste. So don't expect it to be super sugary. The solo meal was a fried bangus (milkfish) and laing (taro leaves stewed in coconut milk). It was definitely a lot of food. The fish was perfectly fried and tastes good with the provided vinegar that was on the table. The laing was also tasty, not too salty or mushy. Overall, a really awesome experience. Will definitely come back.

I like to eat in nice surroundings and in a descent neighborhood. However, from what I read about THIS food, it made me change my mind. Not in a great neighborhood and in an old strip mall, we seated ourselves. I think at one time this place was nice but now it needs freshening up. But none of that matters now after the food experience that we had. We started with the rich and delectable Roasted Poblano Cream Soup. Oh man, oh man, oh man - my friends, this is a must try. But that was nothing compared to the next dish of Signature Pollo Sazon. Description from the menu: Chicken breast stuffed with chorizo, poblano peppers, and queso Oaxaca, cornmeal breading, pan-seared and laced with a house ancho chile honey sauce. Folks, there were so many flavors going on, I don't even have the words to describe the deliciousness. And what a beautiful presentation! I will definitely try this place again and again.
