I usually stick to my go-to order -- the half pizza with an arugula side salad -- but this time I decided to switch things up. I ordered the Thai Coconut Salad, swapped the chicken for tofu, and added a cup of sweet potato soup since it was freezing outside. I also grabbed a kombucha and ate everything inside the restaurant. The food was exactly what I needed: fresh, flavorful, and super comforting. One thing I always appreciate about Modern Market is how transparent they are with calorie counts and nutrition info. They make it easy to customize meals, especially if you're vegetarian or just want to swap out a protein. It's such a relief to go somewhere that's both flexible and consistent. I know a lot of their orders are takeout, so I also appreciated having a clean, quiet space to sit down, warm up, and get some sustenance before hitting the road again.
