Well, to me, they don't deserve the rating they have. They are a good place, with yummy food. Are they the best place ever, no, but they are competent. The breakfast burrito is good. When I first started getting it, it was $6, but no longer. It's still good. Also, they offer habanero salsa that's spicy and flavorful. So, I have a new rating system......I will be write what I feel honestly about an establishment. Got to try the famous breakfast burrito which was okay, not much filling and felt like I ate a ton of tortilla. The burrito itself has 1 sausage, 1 slice of ham, 1 strip of bacon and 1 of those rectangular hash brown patties then lastly a strip of egg. All of the filling was in the middle so your first few bites is just straight tortilla (and egg if you're lucky). For $14.99 I thought I'd at least get a little more than 1 piece of each filling. As for the service, it was very good and quick. There's also seating inside and parking. Overall, a meh experience but maybe I'll just order something else next time. read more

I have no idea why it's taken us over a decade to discover this hole in the wall taco place ! Their el pastor tacos and breakfast burrito bowls are the closest to anything I have had in Mexico City. We have grabbed food there twice in two weeks - and I know this is my new comfort food ! Came here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. It's an order at a counter and there's about 4 or 5 tables inside (there's more outside). The service was very fast to get our food (didn't wait for more than 10 minutes) and it was pretty decent! We split and got the combination plate and the wet burrito. It was so much food that i didn't finish my half. The combination plate has enough of everything and plenty of onions with your protein if you're a fan. The wet burrito was HUGE!! Only complaint is that is really is just a lot of meat. I would like have loved if it had more veggies or something inside, but i don't think that's what is advertised on the menu either so you really do get what they list! read more

Pleasantly surprised to find some buche out here in Manhattan Beach. I came here after a job interview in the area. I was definitely starving and this place made a delicious burrito. Quick and friendly service by two young men at the counter. Got an ice cold Jarritos and requested the spiciest sauce they have on the side. The habanero sauce was really tasty and had a slight kick. I'm in town on another review and being from SoCal originally I needed a quick fix this morning with Mexican food. Specifically a chili relleno burrito. Now I'm a carnivore but this burrito has always had a place in my heart. Today was absolutely not a disappointment!! The burrito was great!! All the ingredients were fresh and added in perfect ratios! I'll be stopping at several restaurants today to review but I have to say I might just sneak back here tonight and get another for my plane ride tomorrow! It was that good!! I was surprised that this place has such a low rating on Yelp after I tried their burrito! This place was recommended to me by a friend who lives in Hermosa. I was pretty skeptical to try since it has only 3 star Yelp ratings compared to a lot of burrito places nearby... however, it turned out that Amigos Tacos has really good burritos! 5 star for the carne asada burrito: The meat quality was decent and there's cilantros in the salsa mix! I am a big fan of cilantros but I have noticed that not a lot of Mexican restaurants put cilantros in their burritos, so I was pleasantly surprised to see a lot of cilantros in my burrito and those herbs definitely add some fresh taste to the burrito. 3 star for Covid safety and health measures: I did not like how all the sauce were still out for customers to grab during Covid. I would not hesitated to grab grilled jalapeños and some salsa on my way out prior to Covid, but now, I am not sure if this was considered sanitary ... ... it would have been better if I could have sealed containers of salsa prepared on the side for the burrito, but since the burrito was good enough that I didn't need to add more salsa or jalapeños. Overall, it was a great spot for carne asada burritos, and I will definitely come back to try their world famous breakfast burrito! read more

It was similar to a pico de gallo, but it had something else in there that made it green and tasty.
