Good place to grab a quick bite to eat at the Galleria Mall. The tacos were good, filling, and the spicy salsa was so spicy! The taco plate came with decent rice and beans. I wasn't a huge fan of the shrimp ceviche - only the shrimp tasted good and the vegetables in it were just okay. The food came out quickly and was packaged nicely. I'd eat here again when at the mall!

It's mall food court food. Expect little and you will not be disappointed. The December/January weekend special, pork pozole, is... alright. It's a good step up from crappy cafeteria pozole but is still fundamentally nothing special. That said it's a nice non-big-chain to have inside the mall and hence is a worthy alternative.

I went on 7/12, a Wednesday evening so it wasn't crowded at all. I was able to walk up and order right away. The guy that took my order was friendly and answered all of the questions that I had. I ordered the Cocina Taco Plate which comes with 3 tacos with the meat of your choice, beans, and rice. I got all 3 meats that they offered (chicken, beef, pork), as I wanted to taste them, but I feel like everything could've used more seasoning, even the sides. It tasted a bit bland and lacked flavor. It didn't taste bad though, I would just suggest seasoning the food a little better. It came out within 10minutes which wasn't bad since people had ordered before me. There was plenty of seating and the place seemed clean and decent. Probably wouldn't come back though. read more

Ordered a burrito and it was honestly a huge let down, very bland and i couldn't taste any salt or spice in it. The side of tortilla chips was even worse, they were very bitter which leads me to believe that they're reusing old cooking oil to fry them. I'm sure i can find something to like here but i know i wont be ordering the burrito or chips anytime soon. read more

This place was a pleasant surprise. We had the carne asada torta and carne asada nachos. The torta was delicious! It had a great taste and the bun was toasted to perfection giving it good texture. This is strictly based on the corn covered in hot Cheetos dust because that's all I got from here. My gosh, it was one of the best things I have ever tasted in my whole life, although I guess I'm biased because I have an obsession with hot Cheetos. It looked delicious, and it tasted as good as it looked, and a kid walking by asked me where I got it from because it looked so good. It comes with lime and extra Cheetos dust to coat on even more if you want to. Ugh, if only I didn't care about my health, I would get one every day. read more

This spot has the best street corn in town!!! Way better than the Michoacana. The corn was super soft and had great flavor. Very authentic flavors. The Jamaica was also super good. 100% recommend. read more

Definitely the worst fish tacos I've ever had, and one of the worst meals I've eaten in a very long time. We ordered two fish taco plates, a soda and a side of chips and salsa. The fist tacos were fried chunks of fish, probably leftover parts based on their earthy taste. The rice that came on the side was sticky, barely warm and not very flavorful. The chips and salsa we ordered as well lacked taste, and the chips were cold and salty. I was upset that I spent $27 here for something I didn't care to finish. I wouldn't eat this meal if they were paying me $27 to do so. To top it off, while we were eating we were giving small bites of rice and beans to our infant, and he ended up throwing up. I think he agrees with this review. read more

Didn't enjoy my meal here at all. The taquitos had barely any meat in them, flavorless and the rice was one of the worst things I've eaten in a long time. It was so mushy and again without flavor. I did like their salsa but even after pouring it all over what I was eating it was barely palatable. Won't eat here again. Over priced for the quality read more

Ordered two hot Cheeto corns. It was basically just a corn covered in dust. No mayo. For $14. They didn't even have the lime flavor either. Next time till just hunt down a real corn man. Customer service was excellent though. They gave me extra mayo. read more

I can say this is one of my favorite places at this Mall !!! I currently work at this mall and order food through Yelp all the time. My favorite thing to eat here is Asda Fries !!!! Ask for Green Sauce and Salsa you wouldn't regret it no a fan of beans nor Guca so so usually remove them read more

I usually order asada papas with beans on the side or even the torta! honestly I can probably finish both haha! ian, omar, and this other lady (I wish I could've gotten her name) have THE BEST customer service ever!! This has become my favorite place to eat at South Bay Galleria, and even when I'm not in the mall I find myself ordering take-out from here quite often! It's so good! Have been coming to this mall for years, never paid no mind to this place, until today. Had a sample of their chicken quesadilla and it brought that home cooked feeling. The quesadilla was on point with every bite. Will definitely be coming back, found my new mexican restaurant. Authentic? Being raised in a mexican household, ive had my fair share of authentic. This place lacked. The chicken was flavorless, the beans were bland. The only thing that made our food edible was the guacamole and salsa. If you are looking for flavor, find a taco truck. read more

Jaime who takes my orders is always friendly and super polite. Never says no to anything. A great and inexpensive theater meal to buy and enjoy before watching a movie at the adjacent AMC 16-plex. I am very impressed by this small restaurant inside the South Bay Galleria Mall. So far everything I have tried has been delicious. Their Banana Churro Milkshake has been one of the best things I've ever had in my life! Their Hot Cheeto Elote was also great. Their mini carne asada tacos are a steal for 99 cents. read more

I love going to the south bay galleria to eat here. I always buy the sopes 3 for $7.99, what a deal! Service is always friendly, in specific the guy that was at cashier on 8/17/18 at 5:05pm. I came here on Taco Tuesday (99 cents a taco) and it was my first time. I got the carnitas and asada. The meat was underwhelming and bland. Especially the carnitas. Wasn't bad for the price but I won't be coming back. read more

I tried the Cocina's Tacos Plate and it was absolutely delicious!! I highly recommend this place if you want to try the good guacamole and the spicy sauces. I also ate the Grande nachos and enjoyed the flavor of the sour cream and the beans . Everything tastes homemade ! read more

MY NEW FAVORITE PLACE, although they just opened recently, the staff is so friendly. They have Taco Tuesday Specials for .99 cent tacos and Thursday baja style fish tacos for 1.49. Sweet deals, and food is surprisingly amazing which you often don't get at Malls these days or sit in restaurants. They also do, Grub Hub and Postmates deliveries which is pretty awesome.
