This is a cute little beach shack. Stopped by on a Wednesday when we were passing through redondo. The staff wasn't the friendliest but not cold and the food was fine. Got a burrito that was pretty small for the price. Nothing truly spectacular here in the experience. Id probably try a different spot if I was back down. It gave a "locals only" vibe which I get, but I'm also not a beach tourist, I live in LA lol.

Awesome place to grab breakfast burritos. It's a cool spot close to the beach with seating inside and outside if you want to enjoy some ocean vibes. The service was okay but the food was delicious. Overall it's a chill place for some really good burritos.

Brother's Burritos is a popular breakfast burrito spot in Hermosa Beach and this is the flagship location with another Hermosa Beach branch in 3216 Manhattan Avenue and one in Redondo Beach. [Parking]: Free metered parking on 11th St until 10 AM and I had no issue finding available spots on early weekday morning. [Setting & service]: A pretty small spot with about 5 indoor tables and 4 outdoor tables. Service was alright and I got my order ready in less than 5 minutes. [Menu]: I asked the cashier for popular breakfast burrito options and she said B. Avocado (Bacon and Avocado) and Chorizo N Egg. *** Chorizo N Egg (egg, chorizo & cheddar - mild salsa, $9.50): It was a nice surprise to see one order of burrito = two mini bite-size burritos instead. Excellent flour tortillas and filling had a great flavor. Mild salsa had a slightly vinegary aftertaste and it wasn't bad. *** This is one of those hidden burrito shops that you would visit from time to time if you live close enough. While I can't say it was the best breakfast burrito I have had, personally I don't have a strong preference on Phanny's or Brother's as both spots serve equally good breakfast burritos.

cute local spot in hermosa, about half a block from the pier .. they have a simple menu yet plenty of combinations you can pick either from burrito, bowl or quesadilla. they offer different menus for breakfast and lunch there was a few i kept going back and forth on, but ended up ordering the spinnaker, which has egg, spinach, onion, sausage, potato & cheddar cheese $12.20 the food was ready fairly quickly, the burrito option comes with two mini burritos :D it was good, the mild green salsa def paired well with my mini burritos service was okay. you order inside, pay for it and they call your name when it is ready! seating inside and they have a cute little patio area as well. a great place to visit for a quick snack or bite to eat and continue on with your bike ride or walk parking: metered surface lot or metered street parking

I thought I got the wrong order! I ordered a TCA (ground turkey, avo, cheese) and thought it was small and then saw two burritos!! Now it makes sense why it's called brothers lol Medium salsa was tasty!

My favorite breakfast burrito restaurant! Have been coming here since I was in high school (over 16 years) and still really good! I usually get the bean, cheese and egg burrito, chorizo and egg burrito and bacon, egg, cheese and jalapeño burrito. All are really good and their salsas are really good as well!! Highly recommend!

The burritos here were pretty good! I like that you have the option to build your own burrito (which is what I did). I also liked that you get two mini burritos instead of one huge one. The service was also good, I received my order pretty quickly on a busy weekend!

Fast service and the burritos are served in two smaller convenient-to-hold portions. The chicken maple sausage burrito was good and the salsa tasted fresh. Conveniently located to get to from the beach

We loved this place! My boyfriend & I are visiting the South Bay and we needed a lowkey breakfast burrito place. Brother's Burritos fit the bill perfectly. Great prices, lowkey atmosphere & delicious food. Definitely want to come back.

Food was snack size burrito. Delicious. Really like the tri tip burrito. Service was helpful. Ambiance is beach shack, clean and room to sit for a quick bite.

My family has been eating here for yeeeeeaaaars and the food is always good. Love to grab a burrito or bowl on our way to the beach. The service is a bit sassy but she's busy- it is what it is. But my bowl this morning (the B-avocado) came with an absolutely rotten avocado on it. We have all sliced into an old/yucky avocado and said oh dang this one is bad, on to the next. You would never do that and then serve it to a paying customer! It's disgusting and BLACK! Plus avocado is kind of the star of the B-avocado menu item... I guess the B this time stands for Bummin

I rode my bike 20 miles then stopped to find a burrito place. Quick yelp search and found Brother's Burrito which seemed perfect! Cute little place with a counter to order at, you can see brother cooking up burritos behind what I can only guess is his sister. I ordered one bacon sausage egg and cheese burrito and lo and behold was handed two! Maybe that's just how they do things, as they are sorta small. To my surprise there was chopped green chile in the mix as well and rather cheddar, jack cheese is used. Well done! Everything is cooked nicely!! The sausage has a nice amount of fennel which compliments the whole dish nicely. The only thing I would caution is to eat outside on the small patio rather than inside. The woman behind the counter YELLS out the name of the patron when the order is up and it's just JARRING. I shuddered every time but I needed to stay inside as I was charging my battery at an outlet! Don't let that deter you!

Oh Martha. We gotta have a talk girl. What is going on?…read more I stopped by on a Sunday about 11:30ish for a party of 2. We got sat pretty quickly as this place was busyyyy. busyyy worker bees. Everyone was wanting to get a seat at Martha's! I only waited about 20 minutes if that. Not too shabbyyyy ! I started with an iced Spanish latte as I love my Spanish lattes. This is where everything started going downhill. First sip, questionable. Second sip, even more questionable. Mix the coffee with the straw for a minute, another sip, even worse. It tasted like I was drinking the water from a burnt coffee bean with a hint of cinnamon. It was NOT good. I was very sad. I ended up ordering an iced chai latte as a secondary choice.. because how hard is it to mess up a chai? WELP. It was managed to be messed up as well. How?! Martha girl, who was making the drinks this day, cause nuh uh, more training now. The iced chai latte was watery. It did not resemble a chai at all, even the color was weird. I took 2 sips and never finished either drink. I had my counterpart try it-- mind you, I took a sip and gave no reaction to not bias my counterpart. Once they tried it, they were just as astonished to how horrible both drinks were. They ordered the banana bread latte. oh my-lanta. Artificial, sweet, sour banana flavor, he had it switched out for a blended pump shake that was much better-- REALLY sweet, but they loved it. For the breakfast option, I ended up ordering the huevos playa. The hashbrowns were cooked evenly and tender. The sauce/salsa it was sitting in. not it. you're not that guy pal. tasted like pace salsa from a jar or something. that weird salsa taste that makes you aware that it is not home made. I did not like it whatsoever. The sour cream, guac and eggs were the only thing I enjoyed out of this dish. I would not order this again. The cinnamon pancake was the only thing that saved the experience, but even then, $17 for a singular pancake is absolutely insane. Overall, I was extremely, and I mean extremely, disappointed. I wish it lived up to all the social media hype that is around, but my taste buds were extremely unhappy leaving. Service was great, the lady removed the banana bread latte off our bill for not liking it, but I stayed with my 2 awful drinks. I ended up going to a coffee shop to fill my Spanish latte cravings after leaving. Parking is on the street, metered. fills up FAST.

And Hubbers suggested this place for a late-ish lunch because he's been here before and had a positive experience. Outdoor seating only since we had the furballs. We had our choice of where since we were the only customers on a late lunch hour. Servers were so patient with our pups (even when they were moody - my apologies!) and were even nice enough to bring them water bowls! It was a cool and cloudy day, but that didn't damper anything. In fact, we appreciated it coming off the heat wave from the last couple of weeks! Everything on their menu looked so good, it took me awhile to decide. But Hubbers and I agreed on the Kayak Tide Tray (+4 extra oysters) and the charred watermelon salad. In the meanwhile, I battled between lobster pasta and five dragon pastrami. (The pasta won out.) Hubbers went for the cedar planked Ora king salmon. And a couple of cocktails to wash it all down! KAYAK TIDE TRAY: The seasoned scallops were my favorites, hands down. The sauce was fantastic and didn't overpower the scallops' main essence. The oysters were shucked fresh and the sauces elevated the flavors a bit. Shrimps were chilled tender and had a nice chew. Cocktail sauce added flavor. The mussels? Sad to say, but half of them were served still frozen hard. So we took our time with it and let it thaw out which didn't happen until we were halfway our meal. Overall: excellent. CHARRED WATERMELON: This plate was so well put together! And not only is it pleasing to the eyes (nice touch with the micros!), it was the same with the palate. Watermelon was fresh. Charred only on one side (I'm curious what it would be like if they charred ALL the sides - will make this request - only if possible - next time!) Taking bites from each component of this salad makes all the difference: the acidity of the tomatoes are tempered by the burrata and the cucumbers, and the freshness of the watermelon makes it all refreshing. The onions added a bit of tart, as did the pomegranates. Didn't notice any macadamia nuts, but no matter! This is a must have! LOBSTER PASTA: Didn't happen... see below. LOBSTER ROLL: Served along with Hubbers' salmon plate (more on that later.) We had a different server at this point (our first one told us he was going on his break.) I thought Hubbers put in an order of this too, so I moved the plate to his side. Our server noticed this and said, "Are you sharing? Would you like an extra plate?" Hubbers confirmed he didn't other this. And that neither did I, but we are waiting on the lobster pasta. He then explained they are out of that dish, "was this not related to you?" Long story short, I told him I'd take the roll, no biggie. He offered to comp it, and if I like, I can put in another order. So I went for the pastrami. And as we waited for that, Hubbers and I split this and WOW. Bread was toasted and buttered perfect, generous with the amount of lobster, plating was a delight to the eyes, and overall delicious. I appreciated the aroma of the tarragon. Yum! FIVE DRAGON PASTRAMI: This is a generous serving, plenty to share with another. Lots of flavors with each bite but the well-seasoned and flavored pastrami dominates them all. The slaw was strong but the subtleness of the lappi balanced it out. Sourdough was perfectly toasted. I thought about not ordering this since I knew the lobster roll might have been enough, but I'm sure glad I went for it! Delish! Hubbers let me have a couple of bites off his salmon plate and O.M.G.!!! He sure picked a good one! Skin was seasoned crispy and the fish was so moist! This is probably one of the best versions of salmon I've had. (For the record, I rarely order anything salmon since 90-95% of the time, they're served dry, but this one here, I'd highly recommend.) FOOD: 4.75. SERVICE: 5. They were AMAZING!!! VALUE: 4. Given the location, pricing is understandable. But worth it. PARKING: Street/Structure only. All metered. And getting here will require a bit of a walk depending on where you parked. OVERALL: 4.5. Plans on coming back here with more people is now in the works. Looking forward to doing that soon!

Because of this shift in attitude, I've noticed other customers have stopped coming as well, like Alex and Trisha. There's a number of tables, and it's really a great place to sit back and enjoy the air of Hermosa Beach. The one thing I will say, is that every now and then, particularly on the weekends, you're gonna get some musician busking right next to this patio.
