I did have to make a trip to the Ludlow facility, 35 minutes from my home to speak with the Asst. Mgr, who rearranged a schedule, allowing the original driver to come pick up the POD. He arrived, negotiated the driveway and had the POD loaded in quick time. I am still only giving 2 stars, because of the time and expense it has cost me to get this resolved. Kudos to driver, Keith!

Originally scheduled for Monday I received the drop off time, recieved no phone call except text message that order was cancelled due to lack of drivers and moved to Wednesday. Wednesday delivery time changed 4x. It was during the window of drop off and I received a message that the drop off was now rescheduled to Friday. For people that need to be off property how can they function like this. We need to ahve all items gone for home walk through Monday and now rushing to find another provider because we can not risk them rescheduling Friday again. They also said Wednesday cancellation was due to drive coverage.

It's a sophisticated supply chain that ultimately works, but is only as good as the franchises supporting it. I had a great experience moving artwork and furniture from Florida to Hanson, MA. I thought the value was exceptional (compared with renting a truck and driving myself). MIKE, the driver, was great at communicating pre-delivery and during the entire process. It had snowed the night before, so I was concerned that the company would refuse to deliver that day and might have to come back the next day because of all the snow and ice in my driveway, which is totally understandable because of the chaos that could happen if a giant truck and/or pod is slipping and sliding around. But Mike was very experienced and was able to put my pod exactly where I needed it. He gave me some great advice about packing and then was on his way. South Shore PODS is exceptional in service!

Don't do it!!! They left a pod here and now have declined to pick it up for 3 separate no show…read moreappointments. Now it's stuck here over the holidays and there is no place to park. Bastards have you over a barrel once it's in your driveway. They are a bunch of liars! Ok so the same canned response is below for the next 5 customers that were cancelled on with no notice. I would absolutely avoid this joke of a company unless you only need 1 POD and live in the middle…read moreof nowhere on a completely clear, level plot of land. Oh, and only if you're ok with your belongings taking a month to be delivered, and your pick-up/delivery dates changing every couple of days. So, here's what happened. We ordered 3 PODS. 2 16', and one 8'. All three were supposed to be delivered on the same day, as we had movers ready to go. We only recieved 2 PODS.‍ The movers could not fit everything into the one 16' and one 8' PODS. We had to leave A LOT of our belongings in our driveway for a haul away company to pick up...which we had to pay for. Obviously, we cancelled the 16' POD that was not delivered because it was useless at this point. Well, to pour salt into the deep wounds they had already caused, they delivered the 16' POD anyway, blocking the other, full PODS from being able to be picked up. ‍ And then they let the PODS sit on our property for two weeks...while we're trying to sell the house. This company needs a logistics department. One of the drivers told me that he NEVER talks to a human at the office.‍ We spent hours on the phone with these people...on the occasions when they *didn't* just hang up on us. We are out sooo much money and time just because we chose PODS. PLEASE, don't make the same mistake. To the social media response person...please don't post your standard, stock answer in response to my review. It shows how little you actually care. The ONLY response I want from you people is a HUGE apology and a HUGE discount for all the money and time you cost us. Update... So, as everyone can see, PODS did exactly as I requested they *NOT* do. You PODS people have already been contacted. My spouce has already spoken to corporate exec members, and at no point did they offer recompense of ANY kind. Again, your company is a joke. You have my first name and last initial. Bad experience. Called to plan a move from RI to Maine. Was told we had 30 days to load and unload…read more Was told it takes about a day to pick up and about 3 days to get dropped off seemed reasonable. Loaded it and they didn't pick it up for a week. Then took another week to deliver it. They had the pod half the time I paid for. They dropped it off with 2 days left in the month. Promptly charge me an additional month "rental" on the 1st. I unloaded it by the 2nd...funny though when they were told it was empty they could pick it up early in under 3 days. Go another way. This isn't it. Terrible service.

HIRE THESE GUYS! I…read morecannot say enough good stuff about Ethan and his crew! We moved at the end of October (2022) and we could. NEVER have managed it without Stonehenge Movers. I booked my appointment vía Yelp and received a confirmation within 24 hours. About 10 days later, when it became apparent that we weren't going to be ready on our original moving day, I called and asked to reschedule. Ethan accommodated me immediately and sent me a second confirmation without any hesitation. On the day of our move the gigantic truck rolled up 15 minutes ahead of schedule and the guys got to work! And damn, did they work HARD! I was only 95% ready for them so I kept packing up the last minute things while they hauled ass up and down the flight of stairs to our second floor apartment. They took one 15 minute break (No complaints from me! They deserved that, and more!) and then went back to work. At the end of FOUR HOURS the truck was packed and we were off to the new location. The guys grabbed an incredibly fast lunch in between places and were back on the job in less time than it took for Ethan to park the truck where he wanted it and have a look around. They worked for THREE MORE HOURS - again, up and down the stairs - and even took the time to make sure our boxes got to the right rooms. The whole time they worked I didn't hear a single complaint; not even an annoyed look or tone of voice. If they complained behind our backs...WHO CARES?! They kept every interaction professional and pleasant. (If our positions had been reversed I'd have been crying the whole day because I'm weak and old! ) The whole experience was great, from beginning to end. When it was done I felt like my "thank you so much" didn't even begin to express the extent of our gratitude for the amazing job they did. The final price was reasonable and we chose to tip each guy $30 for their exceptional work. In talking to someone later, I discovered that it's not typical to tip movers and all I can say is WHY NOT?! They're working their butts off and I could never have done the move without them! It's pretty obvious that this is a great company. The drivers on both ends of my trip were…read moretremendously competent, patient (as they had to problem solve), and happy about their work. On the drop off they had to maneuver on my steep and slanted driveway and ended up having to bring in a wrecker to get it off the driveway. Packing the trailer shifted how the weight worked. On the backend of the job they had to work around some low hanging cables and ended up putting minor divots into my grass. The driver insisted on filling the holes before leaving. We have a maintenance man so I insisted that he didn't have to do that. At any rate both drivers were great and all of my belongings made it to the new place unharmed. I highly recommend using this company.
