I had a Lenovo Thinkpad with a broken screen under warranty and I dropped it off to Andy at Ameritech at 8.

Not a simple problem to diagnose, no matter how many Reddit posts I read! Took it to this shop, and the problem was solved in about 2 days, and the price was extremely reasonable. My experience exceeded expectations in every way!

The screen had lines and would black out, making the laptop unusable. When I took it to the Apple Store, I was quoted $1,100 just to send it in for diagnosis, or $1,400 for a new laptop. I contacted two other repair shops, but they didn't handle Macs or water damage. Thankfully, I found San Francisco Bay Computer Services. They quoted me $467 for the repair, which included a screen with the Apple logo. I paid a 50% deposit, and they ordered the part, which arrived in just one day. I dropped off the laptop in the morning and picked it up the same day--fully repaired and working perfectly! They also provided a 30-day warranty on labor and assured me the parts have a manufacturer warranty. To top it off, I received a 20% discount on labor for my next visit (not that I hope to need it anytime soon!). Ed was responsive on the phone and texted me when laptop was ready for pickup. Their professionalism, efficiency, and fair pricing make them stand out. I highly recommend this business to anyone in need of computer repairs, especially for Macs!

At first, we thought it was our pipes or water connections, but after inquiring with a plumber neighbor, we determined it was leaking from our washing machine. Since we had the other machine for 10+ years, we just brought a new one instead of trying to find a repair person because there's no guarantees/warranty. Happened to be around Black Friday -- so we took advantage of the Sales! Pricing was competitive, we brought a new washing machine and add on: -delivery -installation, -extra parts (hose) -take away old washing machine All with some reasonable additional fees. A few days later, the delivery guys came while I was at work, but hubby was home and all got done. One team took away the old washing machine while the other team did the delivery + install. Great communication as they were texting me with ETA entire time. I would recommend Best Buy for appliance purchases.

Also, I wanted to try on earphones and they said that's not possible because it's a health hazard. The whole point of a retail store is that you can try things on. You need to figure that out... This is business is going downhill quickly.

As if they want to send anyone besides conventioneers and architects of their own custom-built gamer towers with 256 RAM , an animation studio attached, and gold and diamond USB ports...anyway, I tell dude I need 'an adapter, something unusual, well, to me unfamiliar, a USB TO SAT.. Something?' He says 'OH YEAH! I knowIknowIknow. I just wanted him to tell me where, roughly, it was. Stay at your post Sparky, take a breath. So he heads out on the floor, grabs a small box and pushes it at me. I assume he knows, he seemed sure, eager, confident, competent......so I paid and left. He NEVER asked what I was doing or what I was working with. He sold me a "uDrive Adapter USB-A 5Gbps to SATA", assuming, I suppose, I was inquiring about a laptop compatible device. Oh, and they better not charge me more when I'm there tomorrow at 8:50 am. I want the right item for the lower price. You betcha.
