Salesman told me "they don't make those any more" and had none for sale so I bought the cordless equipment. (this was on a Sunday). Still no luck. I called Phillip, left a message, groaning inwardly fearing great delay.. Phillip returned my call within 2 *hours*. And, he remembered me from 2016! And, reminded that at 77 years of age I could not bring my desktop to the shop, asked when he could come. "How about now" he said. NOW? OMG, I was over the moon with relief. He came, he brought corded keyboard(s), and repaired the problem. He did not just pack up and leave, but tweaked my computer, solving numerous minor annoyances, giving full value for the whole hour. A shorter review would say GOOD, PROMPT, REASONABLY PRICED SERVICE FROM AN HONEST AND COMPETENT FIRM. Put another way, Phillip walks on water. He treats seniors well (his mother should be proud), And oh yeah, that keyboard he sold me? Priced exactly the same as the one I bought from Office Depot, where the clerk plain *lied*. "We don't carry" is not the same as "not made any more / not available."

I had battery issues with my HP laptop and I was stumped after I swapped out to a new internal battery, updated the bios and even purchased a new charger. After failing with my attempts, I finally took it to Gigabox Computers and was charged $100 for the diagnostic fee. That pricing definitely went up from $25 to $60 to now $100. During my visit, I even provided a new internal and external battery for testing. I would have been fine with paying the diagnostic fees and additional fees if my computer could be fixed, but he said it might be the motherboard and that was it. The pricing was a bit steep for not being able to fix anything or even have an idea of what the issue is. Everything that he tested had already been done by myself at home. My laptop was returned unfixed, issue unsure, the diagnostic fee was paid, and an additional shipping fee was charged for the return of parts that was purchased for testing. There was no physical receipt of the shipping cost, so it was just an estimated price. I would have liked to see a receipt of the exact amount that he was charged and what was shipped, but there was nothing. I could have been charged for a part that ended being kept and I wouldn't have known. The two stars were given for the other positive visits when the diagnostic price was reasonable and the issue for the PC was determined.
