Amazonico is pure theater, and it delivers on every level. Step inside and you are transported to an Amazonian rainforest at midnight -- the iconic palm-frond ceiling illuminated with thousands of tiny lights, emerald and ruby hues washing over velvet banquettes, lush tropical florals, and that mesmerizing wall of hanging lanterns behind the bar. I attended during the Hendrick's Gin 'Tales on Tour' experience and the mixology was exceptional. The bar team -- in crisp white tuxedo jackets -- crafted cocktails with true artistry, from Saturn and Mystic Lamp to beautifully presented gin creations garnished with fresh banana leaves. The curated menu (Jupiter, Non-Believer) in gilded frames and the signature Hendrick's serve made it feel like a private launch event. Even the bites were elevated -- delicately plated skewers on banana leaves with fresh orange and microgreens, bursting with flavor. The crowd was chic, the music was perfect, the service attentive. This is not just dinner or drinks -- it's an immersive, luxurious journey. One of Miami's most stunning venues for a special night out. Impeccable. read more

My Bookclub and I decided to go to this restaurant for their Miami Spice offerings last night because the menu looked promising and the ambience was to die for. There was no penny spared ensuring this place looks and feels immaculate and like you are in the Amazon rainforest. We went on a Wednesday night and it was fairly busy. Reservation time slots are for 2 hours. We were going to book for a larger group but if there are 12 or more people, there is a substantial food and beverage minimum. The Miami Spice offerings sounded amazing I would say they were just okay. I think this is the first year they were a part of that special and I think going forward they could do better with the food taste and portion sizes. The manager and the waiters were very accommodating to our large party and even offered to move us to a more comfortable setting. We started with the bites which were literally a bite...very tiny. Then I got the salmon appetizer while some of the others for the Amazon salad. Both were amazing. Most of us ordered the short rib or the fish entree and they were kid size portions. I would've preferred they offer that item with a charge of $10-$15 to have a larger portion. Since we were a larger party they brought the food out together but that also meant that most of our meals came out lukewarm at best. Then it was time for dessert and it provided some redemption since everything else was as so small. I have gone to Miami Spice at other restaurants and just think if they tweak the menu a little and possibly up charge for some things, the food would be a good size and taste better. Dessert was delicious. Our group got the chocolate cake and the crème brulee and we were not disappointed. Lastly, we didn't realize that the only way to park is Valet and they are charging $30 + a $2.99 fee for valet. I think that they are trying to recoup some of the money but not in the best way. I think what they are doing may actually deter people from dining there. Since I live so far I don't know if I will go back but the items we saw around the restaurant from the regular menu seemed a bit more substantial but I also wonder if they taste good. read more

I went here for an early dinner with friends and so happy with this restaurant. It such a beautiful crafted experience. I opted for seating in the garden and it's so whimsical and dreamy. We all decided to try their Miami Spice menu to try a little by of everything. I started with an old fashioned that was perfectly balanced. I had their Hamachi Crocante, Salmon Tiradito and Bacalao. I didn't get the dessert but the server David noticed it was my birthday and brought me a sorbet with a candle for my birthday and it was such a pleasant surprise. I would definitely return to the different items and maybe a different floor. read more

Stunning, super‑chic Miami spot. Came here for my birthday with the kids on a Friday night. I wouldn't call it kids‑friendly, but mine are 8 and 9 years old and used to going out, so they did great. The second floor is gorgeous, and even the bathroom has a cool, modern jungle vibe. They had live music that set the perfect tone for the night. Our server, Sophia, was wonderful, she made great suggestions for both the kids and us. All the food was delicious, and the cocktails were on point. Overall, the vibe was awesome. The only thing that threw off the experience was when we went upstairs to check out the rooftop. The lounge was completely empty, and we just wanted a quick peek, but the bouncer was unnecessarily rude and wouldn't let us look. Definitely killed the moment. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary considering the staff walked us upstairs to see the rooftop when we told them we were interested in checking it out to return without our kids. read more

It's beautiful and has a nice vibe. First floor was a more quiet vibe and second floor was a louder, bar feel. They have live singers and a live dj which I liked. The food though .... Insanely overpriced, tiny portions, and overall so average. The yuca truffle fries were amazing I really liked those. Spicy mayo that comes with it also yummy. The beef tartare was good but not wow. The salmon sushi roll was not good at all. Did not like it. The rice with duck was good but not a lot of food. Pornstar martini was good. Overall wouldn't recommend. $200 later and we left hungry ...... read more

I visited Amazonico on Brickell Avenue yesterday for the first time. I'd visited the Madrid location several years ago and found it overpriced and the food underwhelming, so thankfully--and surprisingly--my experience at the Miami location was quite different. Not only was the service exceptional (aside from the bar, where it took 20+ minutes to get a drink and, in the end, I wasn't able to get one), but the food itself was quite good and the restaurant is BEAUTIFUL. My friend and I visited for Miami Spice on a Wednesday night, when the restaurant wasn't too crazy packed. The Miami Spice portions ARE quite small, but they were perfectly sized for us. Amazonico isn't cheap, but I think it might be the perfect venue for celebrating a special occasion. read more

Definitely not SLAMMMMMIN! Another MID Miami restaurant... so is the Rainforest Cafe for adults??? LOL! Drinks are $25 plus! Fooooood is super mid mid! Service is ok. Interior design the only thing that we we're missing were the animal noises LMAO check out the pics and I'll explain the cheese balls from COSTCO, the paella 1-5 a "3" star, and the hamachi felt like eating raw chicken SMH! Take it from me a foodie for ten years plus? It's MID! read more

This is a great spot! The place is lively, aesthetically pleasing, and has a fantastic ambiance. The live band really added to the experience. We had a reservation for Saturday at 9 PM, but there was a line to get in, and it took roughly 30 minutes to be seated. That said, the food was amazing and very well-seasoned! My only complaint was the small portion sizes. The bartenders were generous with the alcohol, and the service overall was great. I would definitely return for the food, but I'd recommend going earlier if possible because it gets very crowded. Also, valet parking was $30. Overall, a great experience with delicious food and a lively atmosphere! read more

Fun spot with friends! Pricey but seemed almost like an amusement park with all the Fabius sections and ushering to get into different areas. I liked the rooftop and lounge. The rooftop closed fairly earlier than the rest. Service was average. Drinks were well crafted. read more

Amazonico! What an absolute gorgeous restaurant located in Brickell. Literally every level was an experience. The first floor was the bar and indoor/outdoor dining area. Although it was beautifully decorated, we only took photos on this level and chose to sit upstairs because it's open air and it was a rainy and humid night in Miami. I was celebrating my birthday with a few friends and the lounge on the second level was perfect. Loved the vibe for dinner on this floor and there was live music which was fun, lovely and entertaining . It was a very busy Saturday so they gave us a 2 hour table limit even with reservations. The service was great and food was delicious. Our server made some great recommendations. The drinks were good and fancy but the speciality cocktails were full of ice. For starters, we had the Rollito Samosa chicken rolls and Camarones Melosos. We also had the Arroz Chaufa, Merluza Negra, Ojo de Bife and Pargo Salvaje snapper. My favorites were the shrimp, duck fried rice and steak. After dinner, we went upstairs to the outside rooftop bar and once Selva (club) opened, we had a few cocktails in there. Overall a great evening at Amazonico. You can literally enjoy a full night there, starting with dinner and ending with dancing at Selva. I will definitely be back! read more

This is one of the most beautiful restaurants in Brickell. The decor is absolutely stunning, and you can tell every detail has been carefully curated, from the plates to the cocktail glasses. The atmosphere alone makes it worth visiting. The service was fantastic. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind and accommodating. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time because they fill up quickly, we booked ours over a week in advance. We also loved the second-floor lounge, where we caught the Argentina vs. Switzerland FIFA match, and later checked out La Selva upstairs, which was a fun way to end the night. The cocktails were excellent! The Peacock Spritz was my favorite, and the espresso martini was also delicious. The food was flavorful as well, especially the beef dish we ordered, it was incredibly tender. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the value. I understand it's Brickell, so I expected premium prices, but I don't think the food portions justify them. The guacamole, for example, was delicious but came in a tiny bowl with only a few plantain chips for $26. Most of the dishes we tried were very good, but not exceptional enough to justify the price, especially considering the portion sizes. Knocking even $5-10 off some of the dishes would make the experience feel much more reasonable. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the beautiful atmosphere, great drinks, and outstanding service, just be prepared for the prices. read more

Exceptional customer service before we even stepped foot inside! I wanted to write this review because my experience with Amazonico started long before we arrived, and their customer service genuinely impressed me. Making a reservation was very easy, but I do recommend reading the credit card policy carefully. I initially missed the fine print and didn't realize that cancellations within the required timeframe are $50 per person, not per reservation. For our party of three, that meant I was expecting to lose $150. Unfortunately, our incoming flight was canceled, and because the restaurant doesn't open until 6 p.m., I couldn't reach anyone before the cancellation window closed. I emailed the reservation contact anyway, hoping for the best. To my surprise, within about three hours a very kind representative personally called me back and modified our reservation. She absolutely didn't have to do that, and I had already accepted that I'd probably be out the $150. That level of customer service made a lasting impression before we ever walked through the doors. She also took the time to clarify the family policies, which I found a little confusing on the website. The restaurant and lounge are separate spaces. Guests under 21 are welcome in the restaurant but not in the lounge. Children under 10 are asked to dine before 7 p.m., while children over 10 are welcome in the restaurant at any time. That clarification was incredibly helpful for planning our evening. As for the food, I'll keep it brief since plenty of other reviews cover it in detail. The tableside guacamole was excellent--don't skip the finishing salt, because it really brings all the flavors together. The Brazilian cheese bread was so good that we ordered a second basket. I had the Chilean sea bass, which was very good, and paired it with the carrots and broccolini. Since most entrées are à la carte, I'd definitely recommend ordering sides if you have a healthy appetite. The vegetables were a generous portion and were delicious. My child ordered sushi, which was good as well. One thing to know before you go is that the menu can take a little deciphering if you're unfamiliar with some of the ingredients or dishes, and younger diners may have a harder time deciding what to order. The atmosphere is beautiful and energetic, but on the lower level it is very loud. If you're going for the ambiance, live music, and lively vibe, you'll probably love it. If you're hoping for an intimate dinner or meaningful conversation, just know you'll likely be talking over the music most of the evening. For three people, including appetizers, entrées, sides, and drinks, our bill came to just under $300. Keep in mind that a 20% service charge is automatically added and goes to the servers and waitstaff, so factor that into your budget. Overall, while the food and atmosphere were enjoyable, the standout part of our experience was the outstanding customer service. The way they handled an unexpected travel issue earned my trust, and that's the reason I'll gladly return. read more

Located near Brickell City Centre, Miami's Amazónico's location (also in Monte Carlo, Dubai, Madrid) has a beautiful atmosphere and a live band each evening. There's a lounge on the second floor and a club, Selva, on the third floor. FOOD: Appetizers: Hamachi Crocante-good Salmon Tiradiro (not wild caught)-good Amazon salad-very good (not your typical salad-no lettuce or greens) Entree: Asado de costilla-delicious! Dessert: Creme de Choclo was good, not too sweet Rio Caribe was ok. SERVICE: If you're interested in the Miami spice menu, be sure to ask for it because our server gave us regular menus without the miami spice option. Our server, Jose, was not warm or friendly. He lacked eye contact during some communication and seemed disinterested. He was inattentive and at some point another person started serving us. We thought that was our new server. That person, Movi, was very friendly, kind, and even went out of his way to answer one of my questions. At the end of our night, Jose finally came back at the time of the bill and for the first time asked one attentive question (how our dessert was). Danielle the bartender was so friendly and welcoming. Important bathroom tips: There is one bathroom at this restaurant and it's upstairs. Bathroom door lock is very tricky, double check it's locked. FYI: There may be an unusual amount of women taking many pictures of themselves at this restaurant. Parking: Valet $30-depending on what time you leave, there's a long wait to get your car. There's also a parking garage in the same building of the restaurant. read more

I was here shortly after it opened for a private event which was phenomenal. Food and service were excellent. We had cocktails and appetizers on the rooftop and then we were seated inside for dinner. I decided to bring my friend back this past weekend and definitely a different experience. Our server was efficient but not the most helpful. We asked if the tonic could be swapped out for soda and he said that none of the cocktails could be altered. I asked if they were batched and he said no - they just won't make changes. Super odd. The ensalada Amazonica was delicious. My friend ordered the guacamole as she saw it go by but didn't realize it had sea urchin. The sea urchin was putrid and acrid - definitely NOT Japanese sea urchin. We had to send it back - it was putrid. The best part of the meal was the wild snapper and rosemary potatoes. Unfortunately our server did not know how to filet the fish properly so we had a lot of bones. I gave 3 stars for the live music, ambience and my previous experience. This visit killed any positive experience for me. Won't be coming back. I live on the beach and wasn't worth the drive. Good for cocktails if you are staying nearby. read more

After visiting 20 restaurants this month across Napa, Montecito, and Puerto Rico, I can honestly say that Luis at Amazónico Miami gave us the best service and overall experience of them all. We were celebrating birthdays for Gisselle, Kiara, and myself, and Luis went above and beyond to make the occasion feel special. His warmth, attentiveness, and care made us feel truly celebrated. Out of all the places we've visited this month, his hospitality stood out by far. Luis, thank you for making our birthday celebration so memorable. Amazónico Miami is lucky to have someone who takes such pride in making guests feel special. Five stars, especially for Luis! A side note to management: When a guest feels compelled to take time out of their day to write a review specifically because of their server, that says a lot. People are often quick to speak up when something goes wrong, but exceptional service deserves just as much recognition. Luis made such an impression that I couldn't let the experience pass without giving him his well-deserved credit and making sure his managers knew. He made our birthday celebration special, and I hope he gets the recognition he deserves. 10/10 food 10/10 service read more

Absolutely beautiful restaurant. The design is tropical, there's indoor and outdoor seating, and even a rooftop bar. We visited for the first time for an anniversary dinner part for some friends. The food was very good. It was family style in a sense where everything was shared and you had small bites of a variety of dishes. The servers looked a little stressed and unorganized. They were very nice but we're running around. The team did not seem well coordinated. The seating was also very tight. They gave us nice menus to explain the courses but then did not bring out all of the food listed on the tasting menus...which were personalized to our party. After our dinner they made us move to some high bar stools. It was very tight. There qas a dj playing super loud music on the 2nd floor and the place gets packed. The music was good, but its an odd vibe for a restaurant. Definitely a bit over hyped and people come here for the ambiance and "Miami Experience". As a local, likely not a place that I would come back to unless someone else was paying. read more

Atmosphere: 4/5 Food: Flavor: 4.5/5 Presentation: 4/5 Service: 4.5/5 Value: 3.5/5 Anniversary dinner. If you're a table of two be prepared awkward seating arrangements. Places like this make sure to prioritize their cash cows, aka larger parties. The live music is a plus. Will say that I was charged twice for an item that was sent back, didn't notice until days later and management reversed the transaction with no issues. We were seated in the main lounge. Will be back to try out the rooftop. read more

Amazing restaurant from entrance to exit. It truly feels like you're in the Amazon when you're here. The decoration is so gorgeous from the plates with the animals to the greenery everywhere. The live band is a great touch for a romantic dinner or just a birthday dinner. This service was outstanding some of the best service I've ever had at a restaurant. They were very attentive and recommended amazing dishes. We tried almost everything on the menu and all of it did not disappoint. My absolute favorite were the ceviche and the salad as well as the tuna Toro with caviar. As far as the entrées, the tomahawk steak was tender and with great flavor and all the sides that we got were delicious from the vegetables to A rice with seafood. The wine pairings that the Somlier recommended were also great and all the cocktails we had were awesome. I would return any day! It's also great that they have a lounge on the second floor and a rooftop on third floor on this specific date that became the rooftop was closed due to the rain, but I have been to it before and it is truly an awesome experience with the view of Brickell and the aesthetics of the bar being exquisite. The lounge area is very nice to unwind and have a few more cocktails and just enjoy and people watch and listen to the DJ and the music. There's also a club on that second floor, which they opened that day at 10:30 PM or 11 PM. We were unable to go in because of that time was when we had to leave. read more

Went here for dinner with my girls and we did the Miami spice menu. I thought my mocktail was so good! The food was good too. I really enjoyed the avocado salad and the short ribs. The chocolate cake was very rich and tasted alright. However, the creme brûlée was muchhh better. Amazonico is definitely nice inside with a cool ambiance, very earthy, jungle, Amazon feeling! There's also live music, lots of space and floors. Our waiter was cool too. However, he suggested a $55 drink for my friend without highlighting the cost which I thought was weird. We did the Miami spice menu for $65 and her drink was $55. We felt like some transparency should've done but oh well. Cute spot, probably would go back? Not sure but def think it should be experienced. Also, they're very strict with reservations. Card on file to book and you legit have like 1.5-2 hours to eat before they're rushing you to leave because there's another party waiting to be seated. read more

Came here again as I had a friend visiting from out of town that wanted to check this place out. We had reservations for 6pm on Super Bowl Sunday. When we arrived, the place was completely empty and they were finishing up their service meeting with all the staff before the dinner shift started. If you want to come when the restaurant is popping, definitely come after 7:30pm. The restaurant did fill up rather quickly after 6 though, but the live music doesn't start till 7, and they started a little after 7. Also, don't be afraid of the noise level of the live music, they keep it turned down to a decent level so you can still talk normally. I've sat near the stage both times I've been here and never had an issue with noise. I can never say enough how beautiful this place is. I love the decor. They even give you complimentary blankets to use if you're cold. Also, they are able to charge any of your devices, and will give you a ticket to check it with the host. Our camera died and I asked them if they could charge it for me and they told me they have a giant charging block under the host stand to charge everyone's devices because they get asked that so much. I really liked this touch. They will also check your coat for you if you don't want to hold it at your table. Service was amazing as usual from the hosts to the servers to the runners, etc. For girls wondering if you're allowed to take pictures with flash/light, I personally have never had a problem, so go for it! I would be courteous to the people sitting around you, but so long as you're quick and respectful and not just blasting light in peoples faces for 20 minutes they won't say anything. Girls are all on the stairs taking photos the entire night also and they don't stop them. Food and drinks were 10/10. I tried the pichana steak this time and wow it was the best steak I've had out of the 3 I've tried here. Valet is $25 and is super slow so account for that time if you're running late. read more

What a stunning restaurant. Been waiting to come here for a meal since it opened and the ambiance and decor is just beautiful. On to the food- overall flavourful and quality. Decent sized portions to share and a nice variety of choices from various areas around the Amazon. To eat we had: Hamachi Tiradito - flavorful and fresh - would order again, Guacamole con Erizo - fresh made tableside and served with tostones - loved this, Arroz Chaufa- plated tableside - the rice had great flavor and the duck was cooked perfectly, Merluza Negra - cooked perfectly and flavorful with a nice medium center. For dessert we had a creme brûlée made with a corn base - wonderful flavor! When it came to the service the staff were polite but it was a little underwhelming in terms of menu knowledge and service time. We ordered a cocktail and some wine- the sommelier Dean was very helpful and they were prompt with the wine however the cocktail took forever and we saw it sitting ready at the bar for more than 20min. When some of the food came too it was delivered to a serving tray beside our table and took more than 5min for the server to come and serve it to us so it wasn't quite as fresh as it could have been. Another thing to note- the valet took more than 20min when we ordered our car. Overall, I would definitely return the ambiance and food was good but the could improve upon service. read more

We came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. First off, it's so cute in there. It brought me back to the Rainforest Cafe days as a child! Such a fun vibe. We were seated immediately. We started off with some appetizers. We ordered: pao đe quẹjo- they were good but small, ive had better hamachi tiradito- tasted okay, pretty fishy. cute rose presentation toro tuna tartar- served on little rice crackers rollito samosa chicken spring rolls- probably the best appetizer we had. i liked the dipping sauce. For entrees arroz chaufa with duck- the best dish we had here. Nice duck meat and flavorful. dover sole- no flavor, dont order picanha- it was cut tableside, good, but could use better seasoning ribeye- standard, it tasted good and lobster orzo pasta - tasted pretty good, but the duck rice was better. For dessert we had brigadeiros- not good at all chocolate lava cake- the one at the popular chain restaurant was better. Then we went to the rooftop and the vibes were good. I have mixed feelings here. The space itself is undeniably stunning -- three thoughtfully designed levels including a dining room, lounge, and rooftop bar. The live music was excellent and really set the tone for the evening. That said, the food was inconsistent. The chimichurri skirt steak fell flat for me, and I couldn't finish it. The hamachi crudo had a nice passionfruit note but tasted slightly overcured. The Caesar salad was average, and the chicken was unfortunately overdone. Service was attentive -- perhaps a bit too attentive at times -- but when an issue arose with our check, the manager handled it graciously and comped drinks, which I appreciated. I would recommend Amazonica more for drinks, ambiance, and small plates rather than a full dinner. read more

My friends and I stopped Amazonico on a Wednesday night. It was hard to get a reservation, and I can totally see why now. We arrived at 7:30pm and it was packed. We were chauffeured by the doormen into a beautiful foyer filled with about 4-5 hostesses to make sure we were well taken care of and hosted. The restaurant itself is drop dead gorgeous. The lighting is fantastic and the couches and tables are nicely spaced and luxurious. The music downstairs was live and performed by an excellent Latin band. Upstairs the music was also phenomenal with a deep house vibe to it. You walk in and already feel transported into paradise. The food and drinks were spectacular as well. This evening, we tried the Pao de Queijo, Arroz Chaufa, Merluza Negra, and the Entrana. The duck was delicious and the seabass was incredible. The portion sizes were nice, and the quality of the skirt steak was notable as well. The chimichurri was fresh and I loved the food. For the drinks we ordered this super cool boat that held the typical pornstar martinis. It was such a cool idea and nice shooters of the beverage. My only note is that the boat itself could be decorated and dolled up to make more of an impressive impact. Great idea though nonetheless! Our server was Abigail and fantastic at her job. The service so darn good let me tell you. She knew the menu and explained the concept wonderfully. There was nothing that we needed and I loved the teamwork the staff had when it came to teamwork. Someone was always helping bus or clean our table and make sure we were attended. I would love to be back soon and appreciate the gorgeousness of sitting outside by the band stage. Any place you sit here would be a pleasure, however. It was a memorable time. read more

This restaurant has gorgeous decor inside & out. It's a large venue with inside & outside seating, as well as a rooftop terrace that has a beautiful separate bar area and an additional nightclub - offering up some very breathtaking city views from the bar. The Valet parking is $25.00 and pretty mandatory. otherwise there isn't anywhere to park. This restaurant has fabulous Live music. Unfortunately, the service is not fabulous. It was terrible. The best parts of this restaurant is the aesthetic and the vibes. It's a shame the service is so terrible considering we spent over $500.00. I've had impeccable service for much less elsewhere. Our server was not attentive, he was disgraceful. We had to chase him down for menus, extra drinks, soy sauce and still our orders were wrong and had to be sent back. Drinks were also pretty terrible & very watered down We ordered 4 mojitos that were absolutely horrendous! No sugar, barely any alcohol and the mint was not muddled at all. A non sweet, mojito with little to no alcohol is unacceptable - we had to send them back! We switched to caipirinhas and they were just ok. For appetizers we ordered the following * 2 pan de queso. Both orders were tiny, dry and way too hard. Like a crouton instead of how a pan de queso is supposed to taste. * Sashimi 5 variations, 15 pieces - although the physical pieces of sushi were very small, the sushi is fresh and tasted good. * Ensalada amazonica mango, avocado, confit tomatoes & citrus - this was a very nice dish - delicious! For our mains we ordered * 2 orders of the Bife de chorizo Ribeye. Mine was medium and cooked accordingly. However, my Husband's was also requested Medium and came back rare, bleeding & horrible. * 2 side dishes of the boniato, which is absolutely the best side dish in the house!! For dessert we ordered the Crema de Choclo dessert, a corn crème brûlée, coconut sponge & corn meringue! Delicious!! I was also brought a scoop of the Maracuya sherbet & a scoop of the Chocolate ice cream because we were celebrating my birthday. It was a nice gesture and tasty but the best of the 3 deserts was the choclo, for sure! Overall, this place is fabulous to see and be seen. A truly wonderful vibe. If only the bartenders & servers would elevate themselves to the level of the decor, this would be a 5 star quality restaurant. read more

Amazónico Miami is definitely a vibe. The space is lush, beautiful, and transportive (very Tulum-meets-Miami). It's a bit moody with dimmer lighting, but still really pretty and aesthetic, which makes it feel like an experience. The service was amazing. Our server, Hubert, was fantastic and so friendly. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and spot-on with his recommendations, which made the night even better! The food was good across the board. I ordered the arroz con moriscos, which felt like a seafood paella with tiger prawns, corvina, and little neck clams in a rich Creole-style sauce. My best friend and I also shared the chimichurri-marinated prime skirt steak, which was tender and really good, and the extra chimichurri on the side was definitely a plus. Dessert stole the show! The corn crème brûlée with coconut sponge and corn meringue was incredible. Easily one of the most unique and best crème brûlées I've had. So well done and memorable! I don't drink, so I always appreciate when restaurants actually put thought into their mocktail options. The Peachy Pablo (maracuyá, lemon, apple, and soda) was refreshing, lightly sweet, and perfectly balanced. Overall, I had a really good experience. I don't know that I'd rush back, but I'm genuinely glad I went. Beautiful space, great service, and worth experiencing at least once. read more

Came here for a birthday dinner for one of my closest friends. There is valet for $25 down the alleyway near PNC bank. The entrance to Amazónico was grand, with the branding label on the inside and the outside. The theme is jungle style with a dress code of jungle glamor. Once you walk inside, there is an assortment of leaves, beautiful sculptures, a grand staircase, a lovely bar, multiple rooms and 3 floors. It's a very large building. The service was fantastic. We ordered a variety of items to share between 7 people. All of the dishware was unique and different. For the appetizer, we ordered the Rollito Samosa which was very similar to a tequeno with chicken and cheese. It was tasty! Most of the party I was with eats seafood, which I do not. For my main dish, I ordered the Arroz Chaufa which I HIGHLY recommend! This dish was made of red, black and white whole grain rice with grilled duck and fried egg. It was DELICIOUS and had a mix of an Asian blend to the taste. I could have ate two of these! We also got the Ojo de Bife and the Picanha. The picanha was cut right in front of us from a slab. It was cooked perfectly and tasted fantastic. The ojo de bife on the other hand, was not cooked medium as we asked. It was cooked on the more well done side. We got papas as a side dish which tasted pretty good. For dessert we got the lava cake and the brigadeiros which tasted amazing and rich! We went upstairs to the rooftop after dinner, and the bar was uniquely decorated into a colorful peacock. The weather was great 70s. The quarters are quite small and the servers kept bumping into us and telling us to move. I would recommend sitting down and staying put if you're going up there. Overall had a fun experience here! read more

I'm soo glad we were able to get into this cute little rooftop. We had attempted to make dinner reservations in advance but they were fully booked unfortunately. The vibes were great though, the service was surprisingly quick. The cocktails were delicious! We even managed to get a table to sit at once a group of people left, which was very convenient to chit chat. I ordered an espresso martini and it was smooth, the foam had a great consistency. I honestly feel like I chugged it because it was made so well. My cousin had a pornstar martini and it was sweet/refreshing. I loved the peacock drink, the cup that it came in was so cute and matched the peacock on the wall. Overall, I would definitely come back again to have a few cocktails. The music was great the entire time we were there. I just hope that I can get a dinner reservation for next time read more

I really wanted to love this place but I guess I fell for the hype of this place but it wasn't even the slightest what I thought it was . This is an upscale rainforest cafe I was not even blown away by the decor .. very let down . The food was just not good . The service was good but of course the server just recommended the most expensive thing on the menu and it would be ok if it was actually good but the fish was dry . The arroz chaufa was not warm and the portion was tiny ! The yuca was hard cold just not pleasant at all, they did end up taking it off the bill although we didn't ask but we were disappointed to say the very least. Save your money and go to a classic or something but don't come here if your expecting a good meal. read more

Amazónico isn't just a restaurant it's a three floor immersive experience that feels like stepping into a tropical jungle wrapped in Miami glamour. From the moment you walk in you're surrounded by lush greenery dramatic textures and an energy that instantly pulls you out of Brickell and into something transportive and unforgettable. The ground floor is where the heart of Amazónico comes alive. Volcanic stone tropical woods and dense greenery create a rainforest inspired setting and live music sets the mood.. This part of the restaurant opens at 6, so if you make a reservation at 5pm, they will seat you upstairs in the sleek stylish lounge which rich textures and moody lighting set the scene for a cocktail forward experience. The only thing I didn't like about the lounge is that it's not as tropical as the first floor, but it's good to know for my next visit! On top of that they sat us next to where all the staff sorta hangs around, and gets the utensils etc, they should fix this, possibly find a new area to make so much noise. We brought it up to the manager and he could care less, hence why the 4 stars! The third floor rooftop offers open air views of the Miami skyline paired with bold tropical décor and dramatic design elements. Now let's talk about the food because it delivers just as hard as the atmosphere. The picanha was absolutely unreal. Perfectly cooked with a juicy tender center and that signature top layer of fat crisped just right. Every bite had the balance you want from this cut rich buttery juiciness paired with a bold seared texture that melts as you chew. I tried almost all the steaks here. And let me just say they did NOT disappoint! The filet mignon was fire too. Soft tender and cooked to perfection with a clean pure beef flavor that melts on your fork. Simple elegant and incredibly satisfying especially alongside the bolder cuts on the table. The lamp chops were mouth watering. The salmon was fresh. Honestly hands down some of the best cuts of meats I've had in a fine dining restaurant in a long time! Overall Amazónico seamlessly blends dining music design and nightlife into one cohesive experience. Whether you're there for dinner drinks or the atmosphere alone it delivers a full sensory journey that feels unmistakably Miami and effortlessly unforgettable. This isn't the kind of restaurant that just delivers in looks. The food is ON POINT! read more

We were a bit late for our reservation and then had to wait in line to check in. It passed 15 minutes after our reservation and I got an automated email I'll be charged $50 per person no show. The hostess was a bit rude but luckily we asked for the manager who was able to seat us in the main dining area outdoors. Your experience really depends on where you get seated. Some of our friends were seated in the lounge upstairs which was more fun and lively but also very loud for a dinner. They had a live Spanish band downstairs. Branzino fish was a great size that 3 of us were able to share. We really enjoyed this restaurant overall fun and good food. read more

We are very impressed with this new jewel in Miami. The food was exceptional. Ambience lacks nothing - please go for this however, the highlight of our experience was David. If only I could give 10 stars. read more

Beautiful build out but food is sub standard. Frog legs bland. Rump steak tasteless. Duck was sub standard. Server forgot to order sides. Tried to charge males for access to rooftop when we're a couple? Complete stupidity. read more

The restaurant atmosphere and decor is beautiful and very in theme. The restaurant is large and has 3 levels, including a rooftop bar wit a new club opening in November. The dress code is very strict, so make sure you're dressed up. Celebrated birthday dinner and we had a nice waiter, but one thing that drives me nuts is the staff wanting to remove plates without asking if we're finished and while there's still food on the plate. The plates are all shareable/ family style. Portions are small so for a group of 10 people, we ordered double of various plates to have variety. Second floor has a nice vibe for romantic date night. Would go back for celebration dinner or date night. read more

1/5 Stars - $1,658 Spent on a Terrible Birthday Experience We chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, expecting a memorable experience, especially considering the prices. Unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. The service was terrible from the start. The waiters spoke extremely fast, making everything feel rushed and impersonal. Our food arrived at completely unacceptable temperatures, and the steak was horrible. For a restaurant charging these prices, the food and service were nowhere near the quality expected. We asked to speak with the manager, who offered us a round of drinks, a complimentary birthday dessert, and access to the upstairs club. While we appreciated the gesture, it didn't make up for the experience. The upstairs club was another disappointment. The atmosphere was terrible, the vibe was completely off, and the drinks were ridiculously overpriced. We spent $1,058 on dinner and another $600 upstairs, totaling $1,658 for the night. At that price point, you expect exceptional food, service, and atmosphere, none of which we received. What should have been a special birthday celebration turned into an overpriced disappointment. Save your money. This place is absolutely not worth the hype or the price. read more
