It was our first time in Miami and we were craving Japanese food. Double Knot is only a 10 minute convenient walk from our hotel, located downtown. Food: We went with the tasting menu, which I highly recommend. We definitely got way more courses than what was advertised. They ended up giving us 13-14 courses. My favorite was the raw fish dishes. I could go without the fried chicken. It was way too heavy and spoiled my appetite for the rest of the courses Service: Absolutely top notch. No complaints Ambiance: The lighting was a little too dark for me. We had to turn on flash whenever we took a picture of our food

My husband and I have eaten our way through most of Miami's sushi spots. Double Knot is in a completely different league. The space is gorgeous. The quality is unreal. It honestly took us straight back to Japan. Chef Russ recommended the tasting menu and it was flawless, every single course was perfect. Easily the best meal we've had in Miami. Huge thanks to Minori, our server. She was warm, attentive, and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. The manager also came by to welcome us, which made the whole experience feel personal. Thank you Chef Russ & Minori for an incredible dinner experience! We can't wait to go back :)

Came in for happy hour which I highly recommend as the deals are excellent. It's located in a good spot, right next to the wynwood walls museum. Our waiter Sunny was excellent and gave great recommendations and was just overall pleasant and charismatic. The food here was so delicious. We were impressed with everything we ordered, though the stand out was the grilled meats. The happy hour portions we were told are smaller than the normal portions, so I would love to see the normal portions because everything was filling. The ambiance was good as well and I appreciated how it was cooler than outside but not an ice box. Overall a 5/5 experience

Double knot is a fancy little restaurant in wynwood. The staff was friendly and nice. Our waiter was very informative about the menu. The food was fantastic. I decided in doing the tasting menu with 10 sections. It was definitely worth it. The branzino, skewers, and noodles were wonderful.

Solid dinner experience! It was easy to make reservations online. They were flexible and accommodating when I showed up earlier than my reservation time. Great location literally right next to Wynwood Walls. Moody interior with dim, warm lighting. My server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. I opted for the $68 Chef's Tasting Menu. A downside is that if you're a solo diner, you only get to choose 9 items rather than the 10. Kind of scammy since they don't mention that anywhere, but that being said, the cumulative portions for the entire meal were more than enough and I had plenty of leftovers. My dishes arrived super erratically. It was like rapid fire and then a longer pause between some. I wish the pacing of the dishes could have been controlled better. There were so many dishes--- the highlights for me were the chutoro, Double Knot Big Eye Tuna roll, and the mushroom fried rice. Overall, I had a great dinner experience at Double Knot, and I'd love to be back to dine again. 4.5

Lovely spot in wynwood with a great HH menu. They normally have a mutli-course tasting if thats is your preference. We opted for the a la carte HH menu and it did not disappoint. Yummy bites and unique sips great way to start of your night in wynwood

We had an amazing time at double Knotts happy hour recently! It was quite busy (not surprising at all) but they managed to squeeze us in at the bar. We ordered a variety of bites off of their happy hour menu and were super impressed by both the quality and quantity of everything. Favorites included the chirashi and the karaage. Their sake was delicious too! We left quite full, would absolutely return.

Hidden speakeasy gem - easily my top fave happy hour restaurant in wynwood right now! Inside is sultry with dim lighting and comfy seating. The presentation and plating was well thought out and beautiful. Cannot vouch for the cocktails (there are only 2 in the happy hour menu so you're going for the food here) but the blood knot mocktail had a nice blueberry syrup I enjoyed. The prices are reasonable it's so easy to order the whole menu which is how happy hour should be. (Order a bunch of stuff and try it out)-- I'd leave it up to you on whether or not you think the portion size is worth the it but everything we had was delicious. Not pictured is the karage which is fried chicken - it's huge! I recommend if you're really hungry along with the kimchee rice. I'd return to try more of the robatas. The texture of the maitake (grilled oyster mushroom) was divine and the ribeye melted in the mouth. The poke bowl (chirashi) was the dish that kept on giving. It could be a meal on its own in my opinion as it was salmon, tuna etc on top of seasoned rice. The edamame dumpling had a nice touch of truffle.

The food here is absolutely amazing! This restaurant is more tapas style sharing so we got a few bites of different things and each bite was flavorful and just really well executed. This is a more upscale dining experience but all things considered I would still consider it to be relatively well priced considering the quality of service and dish execution. The main reason we wanted to come was the miso Carmel ice cream and it was so yummy! While I don't think I would come all the way back just for this dessert again, I would love to try more items on their menu! Everything sounded delicious! Definitely recommend coming here with a group so that you can try a bit of everything. Fun little weekend splurge and I definitely enjoyed my time here and would 100% come back again. Servers are also extremely knowledgeable on the food items and extremely kind! Service was amazing!

I love Double Knot. The food is always so good and they have so many options on the menu too, so there's literally something for everyone. My favorites are the edamame dumplings and the ribeye scallion robatayaki. The drinks are also all really good, but the Uni Knot is definitely my favorite. And their happy hour is honestly amazing and the prices are so good for what you're getting. William and Stefano at the bar are always so nice and helpful, and Naz was amazing. Everyone is really friendly and makes you feel taken care of. Definitely one of my favorite spots!

Walked in late Sunday and was accommodated. Nick our server was great from start to finish. The food came out quickly and everything was delicious. The restaurant was beautiful. Definitely a date spot or dress up and go for happy hour with the girls. Not pictured was the coconut and chocolate switl ice cream, that was a treat! Will definitely be back!

This is such a cute little robatayaki-style spot with a cozy, inviting vibe that works for just about any occasion. We ordered a variety of skewers, from juicy chicken thighs to pork belly and short rib, and everything came out perfectly grilled and full of flavor. The standout for me was the mushroom fried rice infused with truffle oil, it was incredibly delicious I highly recommend. . The edamame dumplings were also really delicious, light but packed with flavor-must get! Overall, it's a fun cozy spot, plenty of skewer options to choose from, and great place from being casual, to a fun celebration, or cute date night. Though it is a little bit loud for casual talks.

This spot was absolutely wonderful, it's in the heart of Wynwood. You can find street parking close by. Before you walk in, it seems like a hole and once you go inside it's very nice and an entire different vibe. We checked this place out because we were craving Japanese food. You can either do a whole dining experience which I believe was $65-$70 per person or you can order as you please. We weren't super hungry so we did not do the experience. It was still a lot of food nonetheless. All the plates are to share, we got very food with everything we ordered. Each and every plate was delicious. My favorite dish was the Wagyu dumplings, they had a burst of flavor with each bite. Absolutely delicious! The crispy rice was also very good! I highly recommend you try everything listed amongst the pictures I provided because it was all superb. The drinks were also great, their espresso martini was smooth. The service was amazing, Camila was very attentive and explained all the items very well. I will definitely be coming back again!

We chose the Oma Deluxe because we wanted the entire experience. Francisco explained each sushi and what part of the fish we were eating. Each dish was brought out separately. There were about 9 pieces of different cuts of fish. They were delicious! My daughter had Sake and I had Non-alcoholic beer. Both went fine with our meal. Afterwards, we were served dessert. What a great experience! Give it a try when you can. Later, we went upstairs to ASTRA restaurant and bar to further enjoy our evening with beautiful views of Miami. Parking is mostly limited street parking though, so plan ahead. This spot is more about curated tastings, sashimi, nigiri, and handrolls rather than specialty rolls, so don't expect a huge roll menu. We ordered the sashimi assortment, white fish tasting, seared salmon, bluefin tuna tasting, unagi foie gras, and a few handrolls including blue crab and negi toro. Everything tasted super fresh and flavorful, especially the bluefin and unagi foie gras. Portions are on the lighter side though, so we left satisfied but not totally full. Cedrick was awesome and really made the experience better. He knew the menu inside and out and explained everything perfectly. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Wynwood and want quality sushi without the overly trendy vibe.

Service was solid overall--attentive and professional, though at times it felt a bit rushed, like they were trying to keep the pace moving more than letting you fully enjoy the experience. Food-wise, there's a lot to love. The sushi was fresh and well-executed, and some dishes really stood out with great flavor and presentation. That said, a couple of items felt a bit underwhelming compared to the price point--good, but not quite memorable. Portions also lean on the smaller side, so it can add up quickly.
