Pulpo

he theming here was awesome. It felt like a Rainforest Cafe for adults. The service was also great, with plates and silverware switched out between courses. The 5 of us split everything. We started with the Pao de Queijo (cheese bread) and Ancas de Rana (frog legs) which were both tasty. Then we got the Arroz Chaufa (duck fried rice), Pulpo (octopus), Entrana (chimichurri skirt steak), and Pinchana Rodizio (rump steak). We ended with some Brazilian truffles and lava cake. I thought everything was good. I think the duck fried rice and skirt steak were my favorites. The portions were not huge, but I recommend sharing to try multiple things.

Overpriced cocktails (mainly ice)

In my years of living in Miami, I have never experienced worse service. The staff here were incredibly rude and hostile. After ordering hundreds of dollars on cocktails and apps, our waitress pressured us to order dinner asap, without even letting us have time to enjoy our company and look over the menu. She said we have a time limit of two hours and we needed to order now, meanwhile, we had been there for less than an hour. She was incredibly unprofessional and unpleasant, and we were there for my friend's birthday, being perfectly polite. After spending over $700 on the bill, we went upstairs to the rooftop bar, and the bartenders refused to serve us free water (after we ordered four cocktails in addition to a cocktail boat). The bouncers outside of Selva were unnecessary rude to the two guys in our group, for no reason. I don't usually care about the service at a place at all, but this was exceptionally horrid. I will never return. The food wasn't even anything special at all and the drinks were mainly ice and all overpriced.

My favorite dining experience of 2025!!! I already cannot wait to be back. Amazónico promises an unforgettable experience that delivers on ambiance, entertainment, cuisine, and service. I was lucky enough to snag a same day reservation for 2 at 10:30pm. What followed was literally a dreeeeam. The space is huge and every corner is thoughtfully designed, transporting you to the jungle. Vibes are sexy but also sophisticated. First and second floor offer dining, with the second being more lounge inspired seating. There is also a 3rd floor with a rooftop and I believe a new club. This place has it all. First floor also has live music and a fully visible kitchen so you're able to see all the food roasting and being prepared. Usually at restaurants that deliver so highly on ambiance the food doesn't always compare, but we loved everything we ordered! And the experience is well worth the price point. Food: Started with the Aguachile which was recommended by our server. Delicious and so fresh! I did find myself wanting a plantain chip or something crisp to eat it with though. For mains we split the Arroz Chaufa with duck and duck egg. So rich, so tasty we loved it. The Picanha Rodizio was tender and had a smokey charred taste to it from the preparation method. We added a side of broccoli and carrots to this and it was my least favorite item. Drinks: The jungle bell mojito is insane and the mint infused smoke was incredible. The monkey business was tasty but my boyfriend found the cup to not be his favorite. The espresso martini was well balanced and we had a small hiccup with the woodford reserve on the rocks being served with multiple ice cubes instead of one.

I had such an amazing experience at Amazónico--it really exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the whole night feel even more special. The atmosphere was everything: great vibes, fun music, and a lively energy that made it hard not to enjoy yourself. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish tasting fresh and well thought out. On top of that, the drinks were beautifully presented and just as good as they looked, making the whole experience feel a little extra special.

We came to Amazónico to celebrate my birthday and were really looking forward to a romantic night out. Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing, especially considering the price point of this restaurant. From the moment we arrived, we waited what felt like forever for our server to even introduce himself or take our drink order. At one point, our food was brought out and left sitting behind us for nearly 20 minutes waiting for our server, so by the time we were able to eat, it was already somewhat cold. Our server apologized several times throughout the night for the poor service, but unfortunately, the service never actually improved. My boyfriend had arranged for dessert to be brought out for my birthday, but because I have a food allergy, we asked what ingredients were in the ice cream to make sure it was safe for me. It took almost 30 minutes just to get an answer, which was especially frustrating given that it involved an allergy. Before we left, our server brought us shots and apologized again, which we appreciated, but it didn't make up for the overall experience. For the amount of money being spent, we shouldn't have had to repeatedly chase down our server just to order another drink, ask for a condiment, or get basic attention throughout dinner. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a great atmosphere, but the level of service did not match the experience or price point at all. What was supposed to be a special birthday dinner ended up being frustrating and disappointing. Our server was Alejandro.

"Welcome to the jungle" could easily be the rock anthem that defines Amazónico . This isn't just another restaurant; it's a full-sensory experience where vibrant décor, lively music, and sophisticated gastronomy come together to create one of Miami's most exciting dining destinations. With its roots in Madrid, it's no wonder that Amazónico feels both cosmopolitan and wildly exotic, a perfect blend of Hispanic heritage and global culinary influences. The jungle reference truly fits like a glove. Touring this tropical paradise felt like swinging from liana to liana: * The first floor is a vibrant bar-and-dining area with live music that turns up the beat. * The second floor offers a more elegant setting with piano jazz and private dining spaces for meetings or events. Even the walk to the restroom feels immersive, surrounded by forest sounds that pull you deeper into the theme. * And finally, the rooftop, a lively open-air terrace perfect for cocktails and mingling under a Miami clear starry night. We began with the Pão de Queijo, warm, simple, and perfectly crispy. Then came the Centollo, a refined dish featuring snow crab, lollo rosa, and Nikkei rosso. Each ingredient was fresh and full of texture. Next came the Atún Onimikasu con Baeri Vintage Caviar, featuring toro tuna tartare topped with luxurious caviar. We followed with the Lomi Lomi Roll, a blend of Ora King salmon, avocado, and salmon roe, proof that Amazónico also masters the art of sushi. And not to miss, the Amazónico Maki, a tropical roll built around mango, avocado, cacao nibs, and coconut, tying perfectly into the restaurant's jungle-inspired spirit. Even the Guacamole con Erizo surprised us: exotic on paper, yet creamy, rich, and elegantly indulgent enough to enjoy on its own. Then came the Tarzan yell moment: the Guacho de Langosta. Maine lobster over perfectly al dente semolina orzo, bathed in a coconut bisque that tied everything together. The lobster was fresh, tender, and balanced with the tropical creaminess of the sauce. Our favorite dish of the night, and what could easily become one of Amazónico's signature dishes. The Picanha Rodizio was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection, each slice melting in your mouth. As sides, the Queso Fundido con Anchoas was rich and stretchy, especially when paired with the pão de queijo for an extra dose of cheesy bliss. Even if you're not into anchovies, you'll likely be hooked. My personal favorite, though, was the Sweet Potato Parmesan Purée, the perfect match for the meat's smokiness. Cue the jungle drums for dessert: * The Chocolate Moctezuma, a molten mousse paired with a refreshing avocado sorbet, was a refreshing surprise for any avocado lover. * The Crema de Choclo, a tropical twist on crème brûlée topped with meringue and coconut sponge, offered a Latin spin on the French classic. Cocktails kept the good vibes flowing. The Espresso Martini was perfectly shaken, while the Peacock Spritz, a maracuyá twist on the Italian classic, sparkled with tropical flair. The Leche Pantera, aromatic with Flor de Caña rum and spiced pineapple, kept the refreshing rhythm going. Throughout the evening, a mesmerizing live singer, think Karol G 2.0, filled the space with soulful tropical beats, perfectly harmonized with her band. The service was consistently attentive and professional from start to finish. Thank you, Amazónico, for an unforgettable wild culinary journey. It's the Latin-chic, exotic experience the cultural melting pot of the Americas was missing, welcome to the jungle indeed.

Hysterical vibe. It was "primal" as best as we could describe it. A good time, fun Djs and easy to get in. Still very crowded too! No cover.

Let's start with the mojito that came with such a large piece of sugar cane. It was so good! The waiter recommended my meal and it was delicious. The meat was tender and well seasoned. It also came with beans and rice. One meal was probably enough for two people! The restaurant is located on the 4th floor of the outdoor mall near some neat shops. I loved the restaurant decor and everyone was so friendly. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and gave great menu recommendations. The staff was attentive, stopping by to refill our water and clear plates. I highly recommend this restaurant!

As far as the food, unfortunately, it wasn't anything I would personally come back for. We shared the plantain appetizer with cheese and sweet bacon, and it was okay. I also had a Hennessy and pineapple mixed drink along with the Cuban fried rice. Again, everything was okay, but nothing really stood out or made me think, "I need to come back for this." Overall, great service and a beautiful atmosphere, but for me, the food just didn't live up to the rest of the experience.

I'd describe it as flavorful, slow stewed beef topped with a moist, slightly sweet cornbread. It was hearty, comforting, and surprisingly delicious. I ended up finishing the entire dish since I wasn't sharing the other plates with the group. About halfway through, I felt like it needed a little something extra, and our server suggested trying their mashed limo pepper. Fair warning, it's spicy! It added the perfect kick and really elevated the flavors of the dish. Our server was incredibly attentive throughout the meal and made the experience even better. I'd definitely recommend CVI.CHE 105 for an elevated dinner, date night, or special occasion.

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the service was quite delayed. I completely understand restaurants can get busy, but a little more attentiveness would have made the experience much better. I'm pretty picky when it comes to restaurants, especially when it comes to food quality, so I was genuinely impressed with everything we ordered. The mollejas were incredibly flavorful, and the empanadas were fresh and delicious. And then came the skirt steak... wow. Cooked to a beautiful medium, it was tender and packed with flavor. We came in on a Wednesday night and had no issue getting a table for two The place was pretty busy. We started with some Pisco sours, I tried the lychee. It was so delicious and unique. I love that they bring you a basket of plantain chips and Canchitas to munch on. We shared a classic ceviche as an appetizer and added some extra onion. They initially forgot to put the extra onion on top and they are extremely stingy with it. If you don't ask for extra, I'm talking maybe five slices of red onion in total. They are also very limited with the amount of sweet potato they put on the plate, not enough to have a little bit in each bite by far. But the fish was delicious and so fresh, and the leche de Tigre was perfectly tasting and texture. For the main course, we shared the risotto à la huancaina con lomo. It was so good. The steak was cooked perfectly so tender and seasoned to perfection. The one Kiana sauce could have had a little more of the aji flavor, it was indeed very cheesy, but it was still delicious and made for such a great meal.

The ceviches were all pretty similar, with the exception of the coconut one. They were tangy, citrusy, and good, but every single one was begging for some spice. If you're ordering ceviche, I'd skip the mixed seafood and stick with the fish-only options. The red snapper was easily my favorite dish of the night. Deboned, fried to perfection, and presented beautifully. My sparkling wine paired perfectly with it. The salmon sashimi was also delightful. Overall, come for the classic ceviche and the fried fish. I had the conch fritters and an arugula salad. The salad was fresh and delicious--a 10/10. The conch fritters were about a 5/10 for me. My husband had the oxtail with white rice, beans, and what I believe were plantains. He practically cleaned his plate and said he really enjoyed it, so that was a 10/10 from him. We also had spirit-free drinks, which were also good. Our server, Chris, was pleasant and accommodating without being overbearing, which we appreciated. The establishment was clean, and the ambiance was cool. Unfortunately, the overall experience was affected by the energy we encountered from a couple of staff members. The host who greeted and seated us came across as particularly cold. She also made a comment to someone that my husband could not hear, but the tone and energy of the interaction made us uncomfortable. Shortly afterward, another server approached us asking if we had been helped. When I explained that we had just arrived, his expression and demeanor also struck me as somewhat dismissive. Thankfully, Chris came over shortly after, and the energy immediately shifted. I can't speak to anyone's personal beliefs or intentions, and I don't want to assume what was behind these interactions. However, as a Black woman and an educator, I am very aware of how race, perception, and social identity can influence interactions between strangers. Unfortunately, I left feeling as though we were being viewed or treated differently, and that made it difficult to enjoy the experience fully. It was clear they were the Votaré por Donald Trump, type. To speak plain, self hating LatinX people who hold prejudice over other people of color. Plain ignorant and miserable haciendo sus trabajos modestos! It's also worth noting that the host's political expression was very apparent, which I found particularly interesting given that she was the first person guests encounter. Whatever someone's political beliefs may be, I believe that anyone working in a customer-facing role should make every guest feel welcomed and respected. Overall, the food was good, Chris was wonderful, and the space itself was nice. But hospitality is about more than food and decor; it is also about how people feel when they walk through the door. I hope the owners take that part of the guest experience seriously, because no restaurant benefits when customers leave feeling unwelcome.
