Stunning interior, especially if you knew what it previously looked like. Our server was darling. Food was good. My friend had the chicken sandwich & she said it was the best fried chicken she'd ever had. She chose the Wagu butter chips & I tried them. They were way too decadent for my preference. I had the steak sandwich & it was good. Both of my friends got the lavender lemonade. I don't know how it tasted, but it was gorgeous. Okay, the one downside... it was so incredibly loud in there at lunchtime. It reminded me of the decibel level at a Cheesecake Factory. Given how classy & intimate-feeling the decor is, the sound level was a bit surprising. read more

I love Amaro's Table in East Vancouver! It's a great addition to our community. There is always a crowd when we go, and I'm happy to see their success! Their staff are superlative - great hiring job! Their atmosphere, with the lovely chandelier, is beautiful. And their food is always delicious, regardless of what you order! A patron couldn't ask for more! If you haven't tried it yet, you are missing a treat! Nan McKay read more

Flavorful and delicious food. Great portions. Ambience is on point. Service is great. Can't wait to come back.

The service is so great here and I love the atmosphere. I've been here a few times and have always loved the drinks I've gotten - they taste great with fresh ingredients. I do wish they had a bigger menu because everything is really good. read more

Food was excellent. This is the first time I had been here for lunch. It was really nice as it wasn't too loud, there was 6 of us in our group and we could hear each other talk. I have been several times for dinner, food is great but it gets very noisy and hard to hear our conversation. read more

Great customer service from Alec! Lunch happy hour is a great deal. Order any beverage and get a good deal on several tasty options. Went with the birria taco/quesadilla (small, but tasty). Beet salad (add salmon) was generous and tasty, too (not on the happy hour menu). Ambiance was clean and casual. Higher prices, but quality entrees and beverages abound. (And, free ricotta donuts and caramel dipping sauce for it being our first visit!! NICE touch!) read more

We had a great experience at the new Amaro's location off of Mill Plain! We didn't make a reservation and decided to take our chances on a Saturday night only a week after opening. It was just my husband and I and we ended up getting sat after only a 15 minute wait. Before we could even look at the menu, we were appreciating the ambiance and amazing transformation that seemed to have been done so quickly, yet so perfectly. We truly think the renovation looks great and hardly recognized that it used to be a brewery! The cocktails were good and refreshing but I'd definitely love to see more of a variety and honestly thought they were a tad overpriced for the size. As for the food, my husband and I decided to share so we could try a bit of everything. We ordered the risotto of the day which was parmesan marinara with breaded chicken and it was delicious. The chicken was cooked very well and we loved the marinara flavor. We also ordered the steak sandwich which was probably the star of the show. My husband loves sandwiches in any form and it's usually what he orders when we go out so he's got his own "sandwich scale." The steak was cooked perfectly and wasn't chewy like most steak sandwiches, the aioli was zingy and went perfectly with the cherry peppers. We also were pleasantly surprised at the size of the side salad. Yes, it was an extra fee, but it was a great size to share rather than ordering the full size salad or an appetizer. We will definitely be back and are so excited to try different things on the menu!! read more

What an amazing experience. Everyone on staff was extremely attentive and kind. The atmosphere was quiet but personable. I had the seasonal rockfish piccata and it was delicious! As the father/husband I did my due diligence to try my wife and daughter's meals and they were so good! It was my birthday and one of the staff members is an extremely talented artist who designed an awesome birthday card! We'll be back for sure. read more

The food here is ALWAYS good, exceeds expectations!! The greeting by the team at the front was great and made us feel welcome. Today, service was a little slow, slow getting drinks etc. We voiced our displeasure with our server Ashley and she made it right! Taylor the manager came and gave us complimentary desert as well as Ashley giving us a beer on the house! Truly above and beyond! We will definitely be back! read more

there was a misunderstanding of cheese sauce (Fondue) to go WITH brussel sprouts but got pretzel & cheese & staff/management removed from bill & told us to keep....nice & unexpected since it was my fault perhaps? I would have said cheese sauce but think menu said "+ fondue" so I worded it as such when ordered without realizing there was a different app called fondue....so sorry but thanks for the great service....it will always be remembered since I am retired hotelier.... read more

Amaro's Table - Pork chop - New American Near Me - Vancouver, Washington

Food: 4.5/5: the calamari is my favorite. I categorize crispy salt pepper calamari as: 1) American 2) Asian style. Why? American style salt pepper calamari uses only salt and pepper as the seasoning base whereas Asian salt pepper calamari is more flavorful, has an unctuousness and plethora of flavors including savory and slight sweetness with onion and garlic, etc. just way more tasty so I don't think it would be a fair comparison. Amaro's calamari is the best American style salt pepper calamari in Clark County IMO as it is not greasy, it's tender, and perfectly seasoned. Their fried chicken is tasty, alcoholic drinks great. They get a 4.5/5 for the 12oz New York steak I recently ordered with mash potatoes and green beans. The steak was to be medium well, but it was not cooked at my preferred temp/doneness. The cut was tougher than I expected. However, overall the quality of the food is great. Service is okay. Needs improvement. Ambiance : exceptional. We were at the new branch on 177th off of Mill Plain. The decor is a beautiful, posh modern and cozy vibe, very intimate. Visually stunning compared to the Hazel Dell and Main St branches but each one has its own personality, charm. Go check it out for yourself! read more

The food is always great at either location and they always have some interesting seasonal drinks to choose from. Highly recommend!

I don't get the hype. I've really tried to give Amaro's Table multiple chances, but unfortunately my experiences have been consistently disappointing. For a recent reservation (made weeks in advance) for my husband's birthday, I requested a booth because we had an older guest and someone with back problems in our group. The request wasn't accommodated, which was frustrating given the circumstances. Food-wise, vegetarian options are limited. I've received wilted salads more than once. The quinoa burger is flavorful, but I've repeatedly ordered it without cheese due to a dairy allergy and it continues to arrive with cheese. Having to send food back for an allergy-related issue is concerning. I really wanted to like this place, especially with the newer location (which is beautiful), but after several similar experiences, I won't be returning. read more

The wife and I went to the new location in East Vancouver off of Mill Plain. Excellent service, Excellent food and the ambiance is much better than when the location was HUB. Tried this location of Amarro's 5 times, each worse than the last. Never again! In restaurant - slow service, unappetizing plate appearance, poor quality meats and vegetables, over cooked, over priced. Take out takes WAY longer than promised, order always missing something for which I paid. Last two days online order app was down so drove there to order but told I "cannot order to go" because there was no way to walk my order to the kitchen. WTH? read more

My family and I have been coming to this location nearly every Friday since it opened; sometimes at happy hours, sometimes not. This place used to be crowded on a Friday night. Tonight I ordered a house salad and a cocktail at happy hour. We were told that my wife had to order a drink as well to get the house salad from the happy hour menu. This has never happened before. I asked to speak to the manager. When Timo came to talk to us, I explained the situation. Again, this has never been an issue before. Had my wife ordered something from the happy hour menu, we would expect that she would need to order a drink as well. As I understand Timo's position, if she has some of the salad, she needs to purchase a drink as well. I said that using this logic, if a came here with a larger group and passed the salad around, everyone would have to purchase a drink. This is utter stupidity. Timo's explanation was less than satisfactory. I used to brag about this restaurant and bring friends here. Not anymore. It will be quite some time before we return. Given the fact that I don't see a similar crowd waiting for tables, others have also found another alternative. Very disappointing since we really liked coming here, but how you treat loyal customers over something as benign as this matters. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience attempting to make a reservation at Amaro's Table. According to the restaurant's website, parties larger than six are instructed to call the restaurant directly to arrange a reservation. I did exactly that when trying to book a table for eight people. When I called, I was told that Amaro's Table does not take reservations for parties of eight on Fridays and Saturdays and that they were already booked. However, while I was on the phone, their online reservation system showed multiple available reservation times between 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM for parties of six. When I mentioned this availability, there was no effort made to explore options, accommodate our group, or provide any meaningful customer service as I mentioned that there's availability for a party of two as well as six at various times could I book those two reservations and potentially wait for tables next to each other and I was told no. As someone who has regularly patronized not only Amaro's Table but also Cecilia's, this was especially disappointing. Loyal customers should not have to jump through hoops only to be dismissed when following the restaurant's own reservation instructions. The issue wasn't simply that a reservation couldn't be made, it was the lack of effort, communication, and willingness to assist. Unfortunately, this experience has left a negative impression, and my family and I will not be returning to support either business. read more

this location is the newest addition to the local chain. They made some tasteful renovations , also added some carpet, so it's not so loud. They have a nice upstairs area with views of Mt St Helens on a clear day. Happy hour specials are good, not typical deep fried offerings. The entire restaurant is nice and roomy, and the happy hour menu is applicable throughout the restaurant. HH ends at 5pm. Servers are so friendly, as with the other locations. Recommend! read more

The space is really beautiful with rich velvety curtains and a gorgeous chandelier. You would never have known it used to be a brewery! I ordered the cheesy, mushroom risotto special with bacon wrapped chicken. My goodness... I darn near licked the plate. My best friend also really enjoyed the few tastes she had. My daughter ordered the happy hour chicken tenders since it was $8 and the kids menu ones were $10. It came with a honey sauce that I thought was delicious! My friend had the 16 oz ribeye. It was good... maybe not $54 good but true crust was tasty and meat was tender. After watching the orders of donuts go by our table we had to try them. It was a perfect end to our meal. Perfectly fluffy and warm - these little beauts were delicious and came with a salted caramel sauce that couldn't get enough of. This was a really lovely place that we recommend for a nice evening out. We got there around 4:30 on a Wednesday evening and the place was filling up so I would recommend reservations if you come any later. read more

Our meet‑up group, Get Up and Go Boomers and Friends, had dinner at Amaro's newest location in East Vancouver last night, and the experience was fantastic. The food was 10 out of 10. The redesign of building from previous lease holders was a great improvement. Our server Cesar F was a delight made us feel welcome for the first time visiting this location. I ordered two Mexican items of the happy hour menu which were both just delicious. The service horrible! We made reservations for 5, got there at opening at 11 when they opened. They didn't have our reservations for 5 only 4. They sat us outside on picnic tables in the cold. Food took 40 minutes, cold, and didn't taste worth the wait. Never again... read more

We celebrated a friend's birthday at Amaro's Table and it was truly one of those perfect evenings from start to finish. The moment we walked in, the staff made our friend feel genuinely special -- multiple employees stopped by throughout the night to wish her a happy birthday, and there was even a handwritten card waiting for her. Those little touches meant so much. We were seated at a beautiful table surrounded by windows with a chandelier overhead. It felt tucked away and intimate, which made the whole evening feel even more special. The food was outstanding. Our party ordered the pork chops, salmon, Caesar salad, and Chicken Marsala -- everything was cooked perfectly. The drinks were fantastic as well. It's the kind of menu where you can't go wrong no matter what you choose. Our server Grace was the real standout of the evening. She was warm, genuine, and went above and beyond all night. She made the night. If you're looking for a place to celebrate something meaningful, I would highly recommend Amaro's.:-) read more
