I was not super impressed by this place. Service was fine. Food was just ok. The atmosphere is kind of boring. We came to celebrate a birthday and it was just, fine.

Excellent in every way! The scallops were the best I have ever had. Great atmosphere. Bert, our server was outstanding. Loved the signature cocktail - side car with the perfect ice cube. We can't wait to return to order other fabulous things on the menu.

Beautiful upscale restaurant with plenty of parking. Was able to make reservations fairly easy for a Friday evening on short notice. We were promptly greeted and seated. The Dungeness crab and Avocado was just ok, and nothing to rave about. The cheese plate was quite good with a variety of local American cheeses. Roasted beet salad was good but again, nothing super special. The star of the night was the pork chop which was one of the best I've ever had. Unfortunately the chicken was overdone and dry. The risotto was watery and firm grains.

I went Saturday for brunch. The hollandaise sauce was the BEST! That eggs Benedict was top notch! It was clean with nice bathrooms. The mood was great and calm. Service was wonderful. Server with tattoos was perfect. I can't wait to try the dinner menu after this amazing breakfast. Bloody Mary was average but I don't care about that because I was there for the food :)

Came here as a guest to a company party. It is a fancier fine dining restaurant. Very modern & nice atmosphere. For appetizer we got gnocchi which had a heavy garlic flavor, so delicious for a garlic lover like me. We also got some scallops which were good even though there were just 3 & there were 4 of us at the table. Got the salmon which was really good, seasoned perfectly. I got really excited that they had chocolate souffle on the menu as that is one my favorite desserts. Also got a The thing with this is that I"m used it being served on a plate, so as you cut into it chocolate oozes out. However, this was served in a cup, a bit underwhelming. I get it, no chocolate is waster that, but that ooze is my favorite part. It was kinda more like a cake inside, just ok in my opinion. Overall great quality food & service was good as well. 3.5 stars because of the Excellent service for my Hubby's Birthday brunch. Good variety on the menu. We started with the toffee beignets and boy they hit the spot! Spicy Bacon bloody Mary's for a few in our party as well. Paul was the winner with his fork and knife chicken biscuit sando smothered in sausage gravy. Definitely as tasty as it was picture worthy. I had the chicken fried steak Benedict and it wasn't as great as I hoped. The hollandaise sauce was not good, the eggs were overcooked and the chicken fried steak was hard to cut through and dry. It should have had gravy vs hollandaise in my opinion. We received 3 vastly different versions of the same dish at our table. Two of the 3 the eggs were overcooked. Some of our plates came out cold and it's surprising since the food took a really long time to come out and it wasn't terribly busy at the time of our reservation. I should have stuck to my first choice before changing my mind. The Rueben was good according to my son and my dad had the mac and cheese. We ended with the toffee cake and the creme brûlée. Definitely ended on a high note. Cute decor and plenty of seating. Plenty of parking in the parking lot.

California Eggs Benedict, heirloom tomato, bacon, Avacado!

The chicken strips were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and some of the best I've had. The corn puppies were a fun, delicious appetizer with the perfect crunch. For dessert, the ricotta doughnuts were incredible--light, warm, and the perfect sweet ending to the meal also, don't skip the Mac and cheese!! I also had a lemon drop, and it was perfectly balanced and refreshing. The food, drinks, and overall experience were outstanding. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and every dish was a hit. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend Amaro's Table!

Caution coming here with food allergies or babies:…read more We were told by everyone in town we had to try this place and they weren't wrong - the food was great and the decor was beautiful. However the wait staff and kitchen needs some serious training. We had 4 adults eating and brought my 14 month old who has severe food allergies to multiple foods. I mean she will go into anaphylaxis and will need an epi pen with cross contamination. So for safety purposes I bring safe foods for her wherever we go. Most parents of kids under 2 bring food or snacks places anyways and we've never ever been questioned at any other restaurant. We did bring up food allergies when we sat down and asked if they could accommodate for them in the back with certain foods. They said they could with French fries and we said that would be great! However when the French fries came out they were on the same plate touching the food with allergens. That tells me that they are not in fact taking it seriously which could be very dangerous. It is totally fine if your restaurant cannot accommodate for allergies but you absolutely must be honest with guests. I did bring out a bag with berries from home and proceeded to feed my baby as I have at countless restaurants before. After a short while the waitress told me I had to put it away because they don't allow outside food. I apologized and complied but it just doesn't sit right with me. I would understand if I brought in a full meal for an older child without allergies. Even if my child didn't have allergies this doesn't seem like a family friendly restaurant. In addition the waitress wasn't very attentive and seemed more interested in chatting with coworkers. You only deserve the 2 stars because the food was good but I won't be returning.

Lovely. We could see a fountain. There was also a fireplace near us, which was a nice touch. Service was OK. A little bit slow, and in my opinion, the server was not well trained in basic table service. I would expect a bit better in such a nice location with a lovely restaurant. We both had coffee with plenty of cream. We asked what the soup was, the server didn't know if they had soup. A few minutes later, she returned to say they only had clam chowder. Which is exactly what my friend had had there before and wanted. After a long wait, a very nice bowl of clam chowder was served. It was a healthy portion and came with some oyster crackers. Very tasty. I ordered the roasted beef salad. The beats were on top of a bed of totally overdressed spinach for my taste. The beats were nicely roasted, and there were plenty of them. Candied pecans as well. Not a lot of feta. Pickled onions on top. It was OK only I would not order that again. My friend got the Caesar salad, which was very nice. The croutons were light and crunchy. We also had some bread that came with olive oil and vinegar. This item was fine, not great. The clam chowder was $10 for a bowl and it was the best thing that I had. We had to ask for a refill on our coffee, and also to clear some plates away that were finished. We did stay for a very long time. My friend felt relaxed there and was talking to me quite a bit. I do appreciate that we were not rushed out, however, it was not busy. We were never offered dessert. Perhaps we would've enjoyed that. I see myself returning, if my friend would like to.

My parents had been here before for happy hour and really enjoyed sitting out on the deck, overlooking the beautiful golf course. So of course, we had a perfect table with a lovely view on a relaxing Saturday afternoon. We got there at 1:30 PM and lunch service starts at 2:00 PM. Our server Rory, was very professional and attentive. He seemed to sense whenever we needed anything. I had a particular request, I ordered the prawn shrimp Louie salad, and my request was that the kitchen take the tails off of the prawns for me. I just really hate having to do that myself at a restaurant and getting my fingers all messy. Plus I was wearing white. So you see, diva treatment was necessary. Everyone at the table except my mom ordered salads and got their food first. Ta da! Rory and the kitchen totally came through for me. No tails on my prawns. The salad was beautifully presented. I don't know why my dumb Yelp brain didn't take a picture of it but at least I got a picture of it before I gobbled it down. I will say this, the service at the Hickory, the ambience overlooking the beautiful golf course and I confided in Rory that the prawn shrimp Louie was the best salad I've ever had. Seriously, the best. I hope the weather is nice towards the end of September so we can take my dad there for his birthday. Fore! now I'll just daydream about that awesome salad. Thank you Rory and staff! 2024 - Review #13

I don't hand out lower reviews without much pause and consideration. We stopped in here a few weeks ago for the first time for a Sunday morning breakfast. We all know my #1 favorite meal of the week is my Sunday brunch. I need eggs cooked correctly, food served hot, good coffee, and at minimum - a smile. We walked in and met with a look of disgust. I was actually uncomfortable at how unwelcome we felt. We were nearly shooed away into an uncomfortable booth and provided with sticky and dirty menus. We very obviously inconveniencing the waitress when we asked for coffees and water. Ice-less water arrived with lukewarm coffee. He ordered an omelette. I ordered a standard breakfast with ham. The one-star review was redeemed with the fact they did cook my eggs correctly. The rest was just rubbish. The hash browns were cold and mushy. The ham was tough and served cold. The "toast" seemed to lack being toasted... odd. He took about 6 bites of his omelette and put down his fork. We both declined a box to take home the leftovers. Ridiculously overpriced but they were sure happy to point out where and how to tip for their three visits to our table. This is a hard no. We won't be back. It was disappointing enough that it isn't worth trying a second time to see if it gets better. It's hrad to fail at breakfast but they have mastered the art.
