Our project included a new primary bedroom and bathroom, an expanded dining room, and a large wooden deck. The quality of the work is outstanding and the modern finishes throughout the addition truly elevated our home. Luis set up a clear structure for updates, and communication was always straightforward and easy. Any questions we had were met with helpful, down-to-earth answers, which made the whole process feel manageable. One of the biggest strengths of Outline GCI is their crew. Every person who worked on our home was incredibly professional, respectful, and considerate. Because we lived and worked from home during construction, this mattered a great deal. The team kept the site clean and safe each day and went out of their way to ensure our kids always had a safe place to play in the backyard. They also let us know in advance if anything noisy was coming up or if utilities needed to be temporarily shut off. That level of care made a huge difference. The project stayed on timeline and on budget, and any small hiccups that came up were handled collaboratively and calmly. It genuinely felt like we had partners throughout the build, not just contractors. We would hire Outline GCI again without hesitation and have already recommended them to several friends and neighbors. If you're considering a home addition or remodel, Luis and his team are an excellent choice.

Luis and his team did not disappoint. Both our projects were handled professionally from quoting to completion. Luis listened to our ideas and kept us on a realistic track if our ideas were too far afield. He genuinely loves what he does, and it shows through his enthusiasm. Luis and his team treated our home as their own. They were an awesome team of professionals. We experienced all his team's skills - electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall and painting. If you are looking for a fair and honest group of professionals, look to Outline General Contractors Inc for your next project. I know we will be calling Luis for our next project.

Extremely satisfied with the work Itay and his team did for our roof. We moved into a new place in…read moreSan Anselmo in July 2026, and knew that the roof needed to be replaced. What we *didn't* realize until actively living there was just how noisy this roof was. When heating up or cooling down at the start/end of the day, there would be literal SLAMS coming from somewhere in the roof. We talked with over a dozen professionals about this problem, and no one knew what it was, and each had their own theory. We felt most confident with Itay due to the thoughtful way he approached the problem, and also the fact that he had a general contractor license, which was something we did not want to have to coordinate between two parties, given the obvious structural component of the job. Itay's team finished up in about a week, and the result looks excellent. Since then, we've had zero slams at all, and the loud creaking is reduced by about 80% (and that comes from the existing interior tongue-and-groove configuration, which there was no way to address with this job). Could not be happier with the result, and the $38k we paid was more than worth it.

Great team there with Dave and would definitely recommend the crew for any construction projects you have in mind!

She offered to discuss the issues and have workers come out to make things right. By this time, but I had encountered the issues mentioned in the first review addendum. I don't want her employees or day laborers anywhere on my property. After providing her with an advance copy of the first review addendum, Miri responded with a reimbursement offer of $3,000. I accepted the reimbursement. I still regret hiring S&I to work on my property. I recommend you do you extra due diligence before hiring them. I don't trust their high-star rating.

His team does beautiful, high quality work and is someone we've really come to trust. He and his crew are punctual, efficient, and reliable. They show up when they say they will, work hard throughout the day, and clean up at the end of every day. That has made living through multiple renovation projects so much easier. He's also always been fair and transparent with us. Additionally if we notice something after the work is done or there's a small issue that needs to be addressed, he's responsive about coming back and making it right. Our bathroom turned out beautifully, and we're so happy with the finished space. There were a lot of details involved, and his team did a great job bringing everything together. (& I value attention to detail in almost an OCD way lol) The fact that we've continued to hire him for project after project probably says it best. Having a contractor you trust in your home is invaluable, and we really appreciate the relationship we've built with him. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to friends and family and will absolutely work with him again.

The best! My mom hired Gilor Construction for a full ADU remodel at her house, and the experience…read moreexceeded expectations. They started in mid-December and finished by April 7, earlier than we anticipated, and that timeline included a major setback: an 80-foot redwood tree fell on the house during a Christmas storm. The roof was crushed, part of the structure separated, and we lost power for nearly a week. It was a stressful situation, and they handled it. They repaired all of the damage and still completed the full project within budget. That alone says a lot about how they run their jobs. Or Haim, the owner, is very communicative and genuinely cares about making sure everything meets expectations. That level of involvement made a difference. The fantastic onsite team was led by Jesus, who treated the project like it was his own home. He was thoughtful, detail-oriented, and clearly took pride in the work. We would absolutely hire Gilor again and are happy to serve as a reference.

We've done several other home improvement projects in the past and had such a headache with the contractors and sub-contractors not showing up when they said they would, or not paying attention to details, so I know how rare it is to find a contractor you actually like! Plus, their bid came in much lower than the three other contractors who quoted for us. We replaced four bathroom vanities which seemed like a small project, but required more skilled work than we originally imagined - including redoing plumbing and moving electrical to accommodate the new layout of vanity, mirrors, and lighting. The crew was very careful to cover surfaces to prevent damage (and also avoid dust getting on all our things) and to clean up their tools and equipment at the end of each day so we could have our space back. Arturo did really stellar work and clearly pays attention to the small details, like smooth caulking lines and patching each little area of drywall and paint to ensure a completely finished project. Their communication was great, and when we ran into a few hiccups with how to best install wainscoting, Jesus ensured we were happy with the plan before the crew moved forward with it. All in all, we really recommend Gilor and will be using them again for future home projects.

It is exceedingly rare to find all the qualities you want in a general contractor--top to bottom throughout an organization--but Berkeley Craftsmen delivered them all: exceptional competence and skill, absolute reliability and trustworthiness, meticulous attention to detail, and a genuinely delightful team to work with. They should really be called Berkeley Perfectionists--in the best sense of the term. We would walk through the house, and someone would suggest moving something "one inch," and every time they were right. It's hard to believe, but they cared about our house just as much as we did. The entire team worked incredibly hard and steadily over the course of ten months. Even when we expanded the project scope--sometimes at their insistence, because they were committed to doing things properly--they stuck to the schedule and finished on the promised date. Literally no one could believe it, but we moved in on the day we had agreed to at the start. We cannot speak highly enough of the integrity, craftsmanship, and quality of Berkeley Craftsmen's work. And just as important, we were lucky to enjoy the camaraderie and collaboration that came with working alongside this remarkable team.

We are so eternally grateful for the introduction, and for their availability in taking on our project. I truly can't express adequately what a wonderful job they did building our home. The care and attention to every little detail, the excellence of every aspect of the work, and above all the quick, clear and responsive communication, at every stage of the huge project, were all outstanding. Mark Butler has continued to follow up long after most of the crews have gone, personally coming by to finish small punch-list items, making sure we are 100% satisfied. This project was very extensive, like down to the studs, with new foundation and drainage elements, all new interiors with drywall, new floors, complete new plumbing and electrical system, new exterior, solar system, windows, doors, everything, and we are completely in love with everything BC and all their subcontractors did for us. I can't recommend them highly enough, truly an exceptional company. It restores one's faith that there are still true craftsmen in the world who take their jobs seriously, and believe in honesty and integrity.
