Linda Parra, her husband, and her crew have done a terrific job with the reconstruction of my bathroom following a water damage. Linda is super communicative and easy to work with. I have done two remodeling projects before, and I know how much pain it usually is to communicate and coordinate with contractors. Linda is far above the norm when it comes to communication. She has removed most of the usual stress out of the reconstruction project and made the process as pleasant as a fresh breeze. I have recommended her to multiple homeowners and will continue to do so. read more

We set up a consultation appointment for someone to come out and look at our project. When it was getting quite late past the time they were supposed to be there I called and was told that the person's car broke down. I told them someone should have at least called us to let us know since we planned our morning around it and the person on the phone seemed very indifferent and just said "sorry". I told them we would need to cancel the appointment and they seem to equally ambivalent and just said "OK". Very odd. read more

I was very pleased with the efficiency, care, and professionalism of their service. I originally hired them to repair one item, but they went above and beyond by completing several unfinished projects for me. Their attention to detail and willingness to help truly stood out. read more

Alfredo and Linda are true professionals from design ideas to thorough execution we could not be happier with the high standard of their work. Our garage looks amazing, they brought my vision to life and added many helpful suggestions along the way. Their pricing is very reasonable and we appreciated the way they explained everything along the way in the process. We are already taking about our next projects! read more

Junior's Construction did an amazing job remodeling my bathroom and making it both a relaxing and recharging space while being mindful of cost and my wheelchair accessibility needs. Junior's was timely and able to remodel my entire bathroom in less than three weeks. Linda was very helpful with designing the bathroom and searching for just the right fixtures. I could not be happier with how the bathroom turned out, the timing, price and overall thoughtfulness of working with Junior's Construction. Additionally, Junior's continued to impress when I needed my doorways widened to accommodate my wheelchair. I look forward to working with them on my next project. read more

Juniors Construction did an awesome job on both of my bathrooms. Both bathrooms were in dire need of repair and a facelift. The bathrooms had not been updated since the 80s. Juniors was very professional and cleaned their work area daily, which made it bearable living in a construction zone. I will be contacting them again for my next project. The kitchen! read more

Alfredo, Linda, and their team is super responsive and attentive. I hired them to replace the cracked plaster in a room with drywall and install insulation, plus patch a few cracks around the house. They visited multiple stores to get the exact insulation I asked for, and helpfully updated power outlet locations while the walls were off. They even went above and beyond - I accidentally gave them the wrong paint color for some of the patches, and they came back to repaint with the right color, even though this was 100% my fault! read more

I cannot say enough positive things about Linda and Alfredo, and their quality of work. My project was small... a bathroom remodel and a kitchen update, in an older home in Oakland... They did beautiful work! The tile work and the painting was top notch. Such amazing attention to detail! They found some rot, after the demo, and made the repairs at an affordable upcharge. I was grateful knowing that everything about my project was going to be structurally sound as well as pretty. I found their pricing to be fair. Not the cheapest (but I don't want the cheapest - I want quality)... also not the most expensive.. their prices are FAIR. Also, they do What they say they're gonna do, When they said they were gonna do it, and for the Price they promised. AND they're always on time. Basically - that's integrity (to me anyway) So, in summary, if you're looking for Honesty, Quality and Fair Pricing - do yourself a favor and give these folks a try. You won't be sorry! read more

We have employed Juniors Construction & Remodeling to re-model four rooms in our house over the past three years - entailing two bathrooms, a large family room, and most recently our kitchen. This husband-wife team approaches both their workmanship and business with top notch quality work and a high standard of ethics. They are responsive, caring, and easy to work with. It has been a pleasure to work with Alfredo and Linda and we enthusiastically recommend them for home re-modeling needs. We give them 5 stars! read more

Alfredo & his team were absolutely amazing! They scraped down our very difficult popcorn ceilings and then finished them to be perfectly smooth. They were flexible with our timeline and worked very hard to have the space ready for move in. Communication with Linda was always excellent and they helped us to make informed decisions. Their price was more than fair and the payment plan helped us a lot. I would whole heartedly recommend as a trust worthy, hard working, and skilled contractor! read more

Full toilet, floor and shower remodel. I would recommend this company to anyone who would like to do any remodel or painting or any handy work that needs to be done in their homes. They are also clean while doing the job and when they leave for the day that way you are not scrambling to walk around the project/work. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED COMPANY! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JUNIORS CONSTRUCTION. We recently had them do a major kitchen remodel and they did a phenomenal job. What was once a small kitchen and a small dining area is now one large kitchen! We really appreciated that they: * Were on site all the time - Alfredo and his helper did all of the work with the exception of the countertops, some electrical, and appliance installation. Even at that, he was on site when this work was being done in case anything came up and he was needed * Had good rapport with the other workers and even helped us get necessary drawings that the city required and then helped us get permits from the city * Cleaned up every day before leaving including sweeping the garage so that we could put cars away at night * Linda helped with the design and both Alfredo and Linda accompanied us to the kitchen showroom to select the materials, making recommendations on different items. That was really helpful since we had never done anything quite like this before. * They are super friendly and helpful and even had a kind word for our nosy dog! To sum it up, Juniors Construction is reliable, honest, and reasonably priced. I look forward to our next project! read more

The good: Super nice people, and I can tell from the pictures and other reviews that they do great work. I would have loved to have them work on my project. The bad: But, they showed up to look at my project and ghosted me. It's been about 3 weeks, they never actually quoted the project, no email no text nothing. I texted them and got no response. I'm not the only one in the reviews here who had this happen either, so I think it's worth pointing out. If you're not interested in the project, tell me. Out of respect, I don't go around quote shopping with tons of different contractors at once. I lost a couple weeks of time on my project waiting for them. Decided to just do it myself. I'm sure there's a lot of valid reasons for not wanting to do the project, but be professional enough to let me know. There are many projects we could have worked on together in the future. read more

They are definitely well worth it for service, care, time to get the job right and quality. The gazebo is perfect in the backyard and the way they took meticulous care to wire and hang the lights was awesome! Will definitely go to them again for other projects. read more

Phase two: It only took them two days to complete the sidings of our garage, the header, and the gutter. Linda and Alfredo were very professional, they went through all the things we needed to know, very honest, reasonable price, and their staff cleaned up before they took off for the day. We would definitely hire them for our next home improvement project. ************************************* Phase one: I like Linda's customer service, and like the family owned business. My hubby and I have actually gone through several contractors and Linda's quote was more reasonable, and they are fully licensed. Have already confirmed the rate and arranging schedule to start our project. The rate right now is for the customer service and price. Phase two: Hopefully they would deliver good quality repairing to our garage door sidings and gutter.... Stay tuned.... read more

I too got ghosted back in January 2022. I called Linda up and talked about my pending project. I need a lot of exterior work done to replace wood rot. We had a very nice phone conversation about a woman owned company and was very excited looking to support her. She made an appointment to give an estimate, but unfortunately the day of the appointment, she had to cancel due to a family member contacted Covid. No problem I told her. I asked her to keep me updated and we can reschedule when her family recovers. As of this day, I have never heard from her. My guess is perhaps the project was out of her scope of expertise. That's ok with me, but at least have the courtesy to call back. My project was done by another contractor and I couldn't been more happier. I guess things happen for a reason. read more

We live in the Berkeley Hills. Juniors has done excellent work on our house and their quotes are always reasonable. We got very high quality workmanship and the pricing is not excessive. The owners of the company work as a super team and always paid attention to our requirements without "overselling" on their part. We have had our three bathrooms remodeled; our kitchen was redone; and the entire inside of our house painted; and turned our lower floor room into a functional media room. Based on our satisfaction, we referred Juniors to some of our neighbors. I have also seen their work on remodeling completely entire houses, including constructing new decks. Finally, the trust factor with them is very high. Paul & Kristina read more

Our home is located in Pinole, CA. When my husband and I decided we wanted to remodel our MB, we were extremely skeptical because we had heard horror stories of unreliable constructors and subpar work. We got three estimates and Juniors Construction was who we went with. Linda and Alfredo from day one were very honest and upfront. There team was always punctual and reliable. The project was completed and we were extremely satisfied with the quality and craftsmanship. There were some material issues, but they came back to repair the flaws. We would absolutely recommend Juniors Construction to anyone that wants quality work at reasonable prices. We would and will definitely use them for future projects! Thank you Linda, Alfredo, Isaias, and the rest of the team!!! Jessica and Arturo read more

They were quick on the on site visit (5 mins in and out) and took their time to produce a quote. I had to call them to remind them for a quote. But they did pick up their phone quickly whenever I called. read more

My husband and I decided to replace our refrigerator and add some cabinets in our kitchen. We got three bids and we decided on Juniors. Juniors have done work for us in the past and we like their work ethic, professionalism, and honesty. They came to the house and the replacement of the refrigerator and additional cabinets turned into a full kitchen renovation. Linda was very helpful in accompanying us to the Kitchen and Bath showroom and assisted us in making decisions. They are proactive in making suggestions but at the end, they want us to be happy and satisfied so it is always our decision. They helped us decide on the cabinets, the countertop, the layout, the lights, the floor, and the backsplash. We are the first owners of our house from 1987 so the kitchen had a great facelift. Alfredo is hardworking, courteous, and humble. He is quick in problem-solving. No matter how big the problem--he came up with solutions. He always assured us that the problem will be resolved--he delivered. The quality of his workmanship shows in the end product. He treated the kitchen renovation like it was his own kitchen. He has very professional workers and subcontractors. They are very honest and someone you can trust your investment with. The work is never done until the customer is satisfied. Linda makes it a point to make their customer happy. She is not just interested in the customer service they provide but the customer service of the vendors they use. When we were making this huge investment, Linda made sure that everything was worth it. We trust that they will always do a great job. During these days trust and good customer service is paramount in making huge investment. I know that if we have other projects big or small, I will be calling Alfredo and Linda. read more

I recently had my bathroom remodeled. My bathroom was a mess. Alfredo and Linda came in and gave me an estimate, no BS. Then they sent the best two workers I could have ever asked for. Alfredo and Linda would check in frequently, always keeping communication open. I am grateful I chose them. I would use them again for sure. read more

It was great working with them. They're friendly. They were able to get they style I wanted after showing them pictures of how I wanted it to look. They gave suggestions on things that they think will work better like which tiles to use, which trimmings will be more durable and what exhaust won't make loud sounds. They also explain why things have to be done in a certain way or why certain materials are better than others and not merely do things hastily just to get the job done. They're also clean when they work. They covered their working area with sheets of blankets and remove them when they leave or on a reasonable time when they worked on consecutive days. I highly recommend them. read more

My original email to Linda: 'Hello, my name is Tom and I live in Hercules. Considering a MB remodel and would like an estimate for the following: new floor tile, vanities and tops, and making existing shower into a steam shower.' Thanks and hope to hear from you soon. Tom My wife met Linda on Friday, stated what she wanted and Linda replies: 'We don't do steam showers. Your husband should have mentioned steam shower'. ?????? And leaves...total time: 2 mins. What a waste of time. read more

I live in Mill Valley and hired Junior and Linda for a complete bathroom remodel and then a foundation earthquake retrofit. Juniors is a fantastic, trustworthy, reasonably priced construction business. Linda and Alfredo are reliable, honest, easy to work with and have great ideas about how to make your home beautiful. They built my lovely back yard studio and then suggested making some changes to my basement/laundry room that took it from dank and depressing to colorful and gorgeous (and waterproof). I get a smile on my face every time I walk in there. You can't go wrong with these two. Highly, highly recommended. read more

We have found our General Contractor for life. Their skills matched their innovation, forward thinking and vision. They enhanced our thoughts on what we wanted to do ultimately bringing value to our home. Re-wired our electrical throughout our 60 year old home. Now when switching a breaker off I fully know all power is off with no current coming through a single neutral going everywhere and of course added grounding that was non existent before they came for us. Alfredo added outlets to make them convenient for our use which we never thought of for more than 30 years living here. I was able too eliminate many power strips throughout the house. Alfredo's help with our color scheme beautified and matched our living room and hallway...most importantly hit a home run color matching his new counter tops and back splash installed in our kitchen. Let me not forget mentioning Linda's management skills throughout our project that always kept us in the loop while scheduling, which I know we made difficult by adding scope and more scope because every time they finished a part of our project we could see what we were getting and we wanted more. You can tell by their smiles even when working their hardest during difficult tasks all of their team members were happy to be working at our home...... Thank You Juniors Construction read more
