Most companies either declined the job as a standalone project or pushed for a full roof replacement instead. Alex reached out the next day for a bit more information, and shortly after, he sent a detailed quote for tarping the roof, complete with photos of the area he planned to work on. My husband was impressed; we're pretty sure he was the only one who actually climbed up on a ladder to inspect the roof, which our neighbor later confirmed. His team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and did an excellent job. After they finished, Alex sent another set of photos, which I truly appreciated since I wouldn't have been able to see the work from the ground. I highly recommend Hernandez's Roofing to anyone in need of roofing services. Their professionalism, quality of work, and outstanding customer service exceeded my expectations!

Arcenio arrived swiftly, put a ladder directly on the front of my house, inspected the roof, and proposed that the old dutch gutters could easily be replaced. They cut the rafter tails, added gutters, and completed the project in 3 days. Plywood was also added on top of the decking, which should add some structural stability. Overall I had a great experience with Leon Brothers and am looking forward to seeing how the new roof handles what could be a very wet El Niño winter.

I chose them for 2 major reasons. 1) they were going to deal with the scheduling of the removal and réinstallation of our solar panels. And 2) Shahar was so kind, informative, and honest during our consultation. He was through and kept us updated every step of the way. When our project finally started the crew were so respectful and kind! We found way more damage than we expected which resulted in our quote going up. However, due to Shahar being honest at the consultation we knew this was a possibility so it wasn't super shocking. The crew was great at cleaning up at the end of every day, which we appreciate as we have chickens, ducks, a puppy and cat as well as a child who are outside. When the project was done, there were a few concerns we had, we talk to Shahar and he quickly corrected and had the crew fix the items. Our roof is beautiful and will hopefully last many many years to come. I am thankful we went with Apollo Roofing and Happy Shahar was our project manager.

They were our third consultation, and even at this stage, I was very compelled to choose them. Danny was super personable and communicative. Of the three companies, we met with, he spent the longest time on our roof (the first rep we met didn't even step foot on the roof), and took a ton of photos documenting the original condition of our roof for us to see. It was easy coordinating with Danny, Ivan and the foreman on site throughout the entire process. From the detailed proposal to final touch-ups with painting, I could tell how much they cared about doing a thorough and quality job. Not only was the perimeter of our house very clean (cleaner than before they started), they also helped clean up the debris that ended up in our garage because of the exposed ceiling which I truly appreciate. Lastly, I did not know this at first, but my neighbor saw a crew member tighten the hinges on our gate (very old) because they noticed it was uneven when they used it to access the side of the house. I'm glad we chose to support a local business with a great team. I highly recommend if you're looking to get your roof done soon.

His price was great to begin with, and what stood out during the estimate was how thorough he was. He actually got on the roof to inspect and measure everything. No pressure, just taking his time to catch details that other roofers who quoted completely missed. After the estimate he dropped off shingle samples so we had time to pick the right color for our house. No pressure at all, he gave us plenty of time and answered all our questions. Texting him throughout the project made everything easy. Here's what really impressed me about his honesty. We had originally planned to replace all the sheathing since the previous owner didn't do much maintenance. German included it in our quote. But when his crew removed the old roof and saw the sheathing was actually in great condition, he recommended we not replace it even though it was already priced into our invoice. That saved us a good amount of money and says a lot about his integrity. The crew was fast and professional. They cleaned up thoroughly every day. Our yard looked better each evening than when they started. Multiple neighbors commented on how quickly they worked and how clean everything was. German handled the permits, shared proof of insurance upfront, and was just easy to work with. He knew I needed photos for my insurance company and gave me a great drone video afterwards showing all angles of the new roof. Would definitely recommend!!

Although Wonderlin Roofing was not the least expensive, he felt they were the most credible. He also told me that the owner, Grover, would personally come out for a free inspection and discuss any repairs that might be needed. I trusted my neighbor's referral, so I gave Wonderlin Roofing a call. Grover came out within the week. He was very professional and personable, conducted a thorough roof inspection, and afterward took the time to go over his findings with me. He also showed me photos of what he had found. When I received the estimate, I appreciated that it was broken down into repairs that were necessary, repairs that should be completed within a reasonable amount of time, and repairs that could be addressed in the near future. I called to discuss the recommendations, and ultimately decided to have all of the work completed. This is where the scheduling process became a little challenging. There was some miscommunication on both parts, including missed emails and some confusion about scheduling, which became frustrating at times. We did establish dates, although I also had to cancel once because of unforeseen circumstances. One thing I wish had been communicated more clearly was that when a work date is scheduled, there can be uncertainty about whether the crew will be able to complete everything that day. I completely understand that with roofing, you don't always know what you will find once the work begins. The challenge was coordinating my availability with Wonderlin Roofing's availability to return the following day if additional work was needed. It became difficult to keep additional days open and make sure I was available when the crew was able to return. Once we finally locked in a date and the crew arrived, everything went very smoothly. The crew was professional, personable, and respectful of my property. They were also very considerate of the neighbors--they weren't talking loudly or yelling back and forth to each other, and there was no loud music or unnecessary noise. They did an excellent job cleaning up and kept me informed throughout the day as the work progressed. I was even shown the areas of the roof that were removed and needed to be repaired or replaced, and they sent me pictures of the completed repairs. This allowed me to compare the finished work with the original inspection photos, which I really appreciated. There was also an issue with my gutter. After the initial consultation, I noticed that the gutter had been damaged where the ladder had been placed. I immediately notified the office, and they told me they would address it when the crew returned for the repairs. When the crew arrived, the crew lead saw the damage and immediately said that he would replace the gutter. I told him that I appreciated his willingness to replace the entire gutter, but asked if they could try to repair it first. I explained that if the repair looked good and resolved the issue, that would be perfectly acceptable to me. They were able to successfully repair the gutter without having to replace it. I was very appreciative that the crew lead was willing to replace the gutter without question, and I also appreciated that they were able to find a way to repair it instead. One thing to be aware of when planning for the work is that Wonderlin Roofing does not accept credit cards as a form of payment, so you'll want to make sure you're prepared with an acceptable form of payment when the job is completed. Overall, I would recommend Wonderlin Roofing. I was impressed with Grover's professionalism, the detailed inspection, the photographs, and the way the estimate clearly separated the repairs by priority. The crew that completed the work was excellent and treated my home with respect. My only recommendation would be to make communication after the initial inspection a little clearer, particularly regarding scheduling and the possibility that additional days may be needed to complete the work. To be fair, there was miscommunication on both sides, and once we discussed it and agreed on a better way to communicate, everything went smoothly. In the end, I am happy with the work that was done and appreciate the professionalism of the crew. Most importantly, I feel confident that the repairs that needed to be addressed were taken care of properly.
