High quality, professional exterior house painting services at a fair price. Our neighbors were in the process of getting exterior painting estimates for their home and were pleased with CitiBay. I contacted Wil after speaking with my neighbors. We set a time for him to stop by, we received an estimate within a day or two outlining the work and cost. It was explained that there would be additional cost associated with wood siding repairs, a 3rd color (for front door) and some vent replacement. No surprises. Painting crew show up on time the are professional, polite and efficient. Four days of work for our one-story home. I highly recommend Wil and his crew. read more

Working with Wil and his crew was a great experience from start to finish! When I requested a quote, Wil came out right away and thoroughly explained the entire process. He was transparent, straightforward, and offered very fair pricing. Wil also pointed out a few additional repairs we may want to address before painting and let us know his crew could take care of them. Once the work began, the crew was clean, organized, and very accommodating. I requested a few additional items to be removed or replaced, and they handled everything right away without any issues. The entire project was completed in just five days, and the finished product looks amazing. Wil and his crew were professional, easy to work with, and made the whole process stress-free. I would absolutely work with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable painter! read more

Citibay Painting - Our cabinets were standard brown cabinets. They did a great job with these. - Painters Near Me

We recently hired Citibay Painting to do our full exterior using three different colors, and they did an outstanding job from start to finish. Working with Wil, the owner, was a breath of fresh air right from the initial quote. He was super knowledgeable, answered every question we had in detail, and was completely non-aggressive and zero-pressure. His crew was just as great--incredibly meticulous with their prep work and painting, and they made sure to clean up the property completely at the end of every day. On top of the painting, we live in a high fire threat district, so I bought ember-resistant vents for our eaves and crawl space. Wil's team gladly installed all of them for us prior to painting, which was a huge help and gave us great peace of mind. After the project was finished, Wil made sure to double-check that we were 100% happy with everything. We were so impressed that we referred him to our neighbors, and their house turned out fantastic as well. We highly recommend Wil and Citibay Painting! read more

I'm incredibly impressed with the work Citibay Painting did on our home. Wil and his team made the entire process stress-free and delivered a high-quality finish. What Stood Out Clear Communication: I really appreciated how Wil verified and confirmed our paint scheme before starting, ensuring the colors were exactly what we envisioned and adhering to our HOA official paint schemes. He even walked around our neighborhood with us pointing out homes with similar color patterns and helped advise us on how to ensure that our home with a fresh coat of paint would blend seamlessly in our community. Meticulous Touch-ups: The crew went the extra mile with final detailing, catching small spots without us even having to point them out. Cleanliness: They left our home in great shape with minimal post-job cleanup required on our part. Final Verdict: Professional, detailed, and highly recommended for anyone looking for a honest partner to go above and beyond to create a seamless exterior transformation in the Bay Area! read more

I was excited to work with them given the good reviews, but the quality was definitely a rush job. Promised a 3-4 day job, but instead did it in 2. Caught on camera many skipped steps, leading to rough edges almost everywhere. Rushed me to pay before I could review the work in person, then when I provided feedback he said (exact text): - "To me you sound ungrateful given the fact that I've made concessions for you." And then progressed to threatening me (exact text): - "Remember dude, what goes around, will come back around.. That's just the law of life." If you're looking for a rough job and assorted threats afterwards, this is probably the go-to-place. Update: Since the owner of the company decided to reply with a fanciful story, I went ahead and updated the review with photos. The crew painted kitchen cabinets and put up the cabinet doors back up two hours later, which of course resulted in marred paint in many places. This is the kind of work he was trying to hide, rushing me to pay. Even the small bits of his response are lies. He did not "consult his wife". When I provided feedback, and then wasn't available for a phone call right away, he texted me with: "But because you haven't answered the phone, you just confirmed to me what type of person you really are! Leave a bad review if you want. And I will respond to it!" Take the gamble if you want. read more

It was that time to get the house painted, we are planning a big move out of the state and we wanted the house to look great when we put it on the market. I considered several offers from other painters, and although Citibay Painting was not the lowest price, I chose them. It was the attention to detail and listening to what my goal was with the project. We agreed on the price and we schedule the work while I was out of town. I was a little unsure about not being there. But Wil, our rep, gave me "piece of mind" by sending updated work photos throughout the entire project. When I arrived home, the house looked amazing! It is nice to see a company that shows pride in their work, and does a great job. I would totally recommend Citibay Painting for your next project. I might actually be using them again real soon for another project that I have to get completed. read more

We recently hired Citibay Painting for the exterior painting of our home, and the results exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, the team demonstrated exceptional professionalism, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. The paint job itself was excellent, but what really stood out was their willingness to go above and beyond. Before painting, they helped repair several areas of water-damaged wood trim and fascia, making sure the surfaces were properly restored. They also noticed a few broken roof tiles and replaced them without us even asking, which showed a level of care and integrity that is hard to find. In addition, they pressure washed the roof, helping improve the overall appearance of the property. Another impressive aspect was their responsiveness and work ethic. Despite their busy schedule, the team pulled together and completed the entire project in just six working days without sacrificing quality. The crew was always punctual, courteous, and respectful of our property, and they kept the work area clean throughout the project. read more

When the job was done, and I did my own walkthrough, I really couldn't find anything wrong with the job they did. That says a lot about a business in today's day and age. Appreciate the fast communication and working with me through the details! Wil was very accommodating with scheduling.

This review is overdue, but the Citibay team painted our house in October 2025 and did a great job. Wil was responsive and helpful, answered all my questions, and didn't waste any time coming out to provide an estimate or getting started on the house. Antonio was the lead on site and led an extremely efficient and conscientious team. The whole exterior paint job (from power washing to completing the walkways) took about seven days for our 1.5 story stucco house, including a repair on a stucco retaining wall. The job is neat and tidy; I haven't found any issues in the months since they came out. read more

Additionally, Wil's dedication to earning our business was clear, and he followed through on every promise. His skill, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction truly set him apart. The crew was also very helpful and professional. I reached out to three painting companies in the Bay Area for estimate. Citibay was quick to respond. Wil was very professional, knowledgeable, easy to talk to and understood my wishes to paint my single family house and an ADU. Our back and forth of ideas left me feeling very good about hiring his company. Before I even received all three estimates, I was leaning towards going with Citibay. Their estimate was competitive as well and so it was an easy decision. Wil scheduled the job as promised and got the dates on my calendar. Citibay's crew arrived on time everyday. They were respectful, skilled and did their job well. Along the way, I had this and that request-some dry rot work, chimney brick sanding and also, window shutters and flood light/camera installation. Wil promptly fulfilled those request. The cost for the extra work was reasonably priced. I found this to be very helpful- an all around skilled team. Saved me time and resource. Work was finished on schedule. My house looks like what I'd imagined. Overall, I'm very happy with the result. I would recommend Citibay any day. Thank you Wil and team for your job well done. read more

Wil's team painted the exterior of my house earlier this month. I chose his team for their price quote and easy communication. Pros: 1. Like many of the reviews here, Wil was very easy to work with and responsive when I reached out with questions and comments. He explained many things clearly, and this helped for a novice of the painting world like myself. He was patient as well, especially when I had limits with my bank being able to send him the payments in full. 2. Wil's team did a great job from washing the house, sanding down or replacing some parts of the problematic wood, and then painting. I am very satisfied with the work. 3. They finished quickly. Originally, Wil said it may take up to 6 days, but they finished in 4.5! Areas for improvement: 1. I would have preferred quicker communication between the team and Wil for updates on the project. While the team finished the job quickly, I didn't find out that they would be done until the day of. I was already at work and wasn't able to be home to do the walk-through before the guys cleaned up and left. However, I appreciated Wil for his willingness to come again the next day to look at the house with me. 2. As mentioned, the team did a great paint job. However, I noticed that there was leftover trash here and there including the old wood that was taken down and some nails. Some of the planters and tool holders were moved onto the grass but not returned to the original position (or at least off the grass). I ended up having to walk around to check and gather things to throw in the trash as well as move things back. All in all, the job was well done, and my family is satisfied! Thankful to Wil and his team. read more

They do AMAZING work!!! Ive contracted with them for two jobs and I would use them again. Extremely satisfied with their work!!

I am a realtor who always seeks the best in service and product for my clients. This was the first time hiring Citibay Painting and very happy I did. I will be referring this company to everyone. I highly recommend Citbay Painting if you are looking for excellence in workmanship, completion of your paint project on time, cutomer care, communication, and pricing. Will Pakeman, owner, is amazing! I spoke to him and explained that my client needed their home painted "ASAP". It was a few days before New Years Day, Hhs schedule was booked out, however, he made a way and scheduled us to begin the paint project a few days later. Will was in constant communication via phone and text, always there to answer questions, he even sent paint color suggestions to me on a Sunday. His team even works on Sunday! Imagine that!! Will does everything to get your project done no matter what. We receive many compliments regarding the beautiful paint transformation Will and his team did on the property. Will operates his business with integrity and transparency, and his pricing is more than reasonable. Give him a call for your painting needs. You will be happy you did! My girlfriend and I recently purchased a condo in the Hayward area, and we wanted to repaint the interior prior to moving in to get rid of the 20-some year old musty yellows and greens. I'd had an approximate figure in mind based on my research when I reached out for quotes on Yelp, and Wil from Citibay responded within minutes with some appropriate follow-up questions based on my request. We scheduled a site walk for the following a day (a late Saturday morning I believe). Wil was very friendly and personable during the walk, and took careful observations of the existing conditions and pointed out a couple of oddities that I hadn't even noticed. He sent me a message later that evening with a finalized quote, which was right in line with my estimate. After reviewing my options a day and a half later, I'd decided his good communication skills and his extreme professionalism during the site walk had won me over, and we scheduled to start painting 3 days later (my girlfriend and I needed a few more days to finalize color selections, we ended up with 7 colors). Wil was very communicative the entire time, and his team was able to work just fine without my needing to be on the premises. I stopped by a couple of times throughout the process to drop off a couple of things and check out the progress. I caught one small unpainted portion of wall under a counter during one of these visits, which I notified Wil about, and his team immediately rectified it. They started work on a Thursday morning, and were finished by the following Tuesday afternoon in our 1400 sf unit. All in all, Wil and his team did a fantastic job with the paint - The edges are clean and the paint is even, and my girlfriend is thrilled with how the colors turned out. She also mentioned to me how happy she was with some of the decisions Wil's team had made on how some of the colors in the kitchen would terminate. We'll definitely be reaching out to Wil again when it comes time to paint our cabinets! read more
