Bumble Bee Construction - Terraced garden trellis - General Contractors Near Me

My experience started off well. Joe was responsive, communicated clearly, and provided a fair quote. Unfortunately, after a miscommunication about part of the project, which I thought we had resolved amicably (I compensated him for the materials he had already used), he later admitted he was upset and had been purposely avoiding my follow up communication. He left the original job on Friday saying he would return the following week to finish a few remaining items. After that, I spent over a month trying to get a response, with little to no communication and no explanation for this treatment. When I finally expressed my frustration, he admitted he had intentionally been ignoring me because of the earlier misunderstanding and offered to send someone to finish the outstanding tasks, "if that's what I was upset about." That level of unprofessionalism was far more disappointing than the few remaining tasks on the project. Misunderstandings happen, but they shouldn't result in giving a customer the silent treatment and leaving a job unfinished. I cannot recommend someone who responds to conflict by avoiding communication completely. read more

For our Pinole home Joe built a deck and on the top of the deck a glass house 10x12. This happened more than 10 years ago and the workmanship is extraordinary. Still in use today with off-grid solar panels and a Jackery 5KWh Lithium battery. Nice work Joe! My wife and I are enjoying this glass house immensely. It was put together by Joe from my hand sketches, and a Home & Garden Magazine prop photo. Joe has talent. He builds stuff that lasts and most recently he replaced the carpet with hardwood flooring in our upstairs 4 bedrooms while we were shuffling the beds, mattresses, furniture in place to accommodate the carpet removal and hard floor installation. NO one else would have worked in these conditions, but Joe accommodated our situation. In Benicia and Pinole Joe replaced the leaky windows with new Milgard and insulated outer walls with fiberglass. Joe is dedicated, hard working, and we will hire him again anytime. read more

This was our first home remodel experience. We had heard horror stories of contractors and were very anxious about the whole thing. Joe was exactly what we were looking for--a real partner in the process. Joe and his team did an amazing job completely remodeling our bathroom. He is an expert in his craft and helped us to find the right materials and design for our needs. He met with us in person before and during, and was very reachable and communicative by phone and text throughout the whole project. Once materials were in place everything was done quickly, professionally, and within the estimated cost. I would strongly recommend anyone who is considering a remodel of any interior or exterior space to hire Joe and his team. read more

Joe was a big help when the siding on my mother's house was falling apart. With his knowledge and experience, he helped me switch materials to something much more durable, and did a solid job on the construction. So many little things came up around the windows and little leaky spots - I felt like Joe was proactive and did everything to correct the issues so we could feel really secure as winter comes. Joe and his team were responsive and courteous with a reasonable price. Worth every penny! read more

Had Bumble Bee construction out to complete stucco patches from a recent plumbing repair. Joe and Leo did an excellent job and were flexible in the scheduling. Joe and his crew did an amazing job building our redwood deck. He came out to give an estimate, which was below what I expected, and provided a timeline. We went with Bumble Bee and couldn't be happier. They finished ahead of schedule which was a great surprise! The crew cleaned up perfectly and spent a lot of time with the finishing touches. Joe came to look at my decorative siding under my front window. Had wood rot from rain hitting siding. Knowing that I needed a general contractor to fix it, I used a referral from my lanscape contractor. After looking at my wood rot, Joe said he replace the wood w/ concrete and repaint the siding. Did a great job on the carpenter-part, a litte drippy on the painting. As along the siding was replaced, I was satisfied. He took two weeks to get to me, but the job was done. read more

I can't rave enough about the great work done by Joe and Leo. We had an atypical project (building An enclosed pergola onto a raised deck). The team not only figured out how to do the project quickly, but made suggestions to alter our design throughout the process to make it even better than we had imagined. Pricing is fair, quality of workmanship is top notch, and customer service is better than you'll find anywhere else. We spend so much more time outdoors now! read more

Joe was very attentive to our needs and built a great deck for a partially sloped yard. Very reasonable price. We got ridiculously high quotes from the big name corporate competition. Also, fast response to customers. Go with Joe and his team. You won't be disappointed! read more

Joe came out to look at our duplex's deck and porch fencing, which had begun to rot and damage the internal structure of the building. He came up with an out-of-the-box solution to address the root of the problem (water access!) that kept the scope of the work to a minimum compared to other bids. His crew worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves; we ended up with some beautiful redwood fencing for a very good price. We're definitely having Joe come back out for future jobs. read more

What can I say about Joe and his crew at Bumble Bee construction?! First off when I was getting multiple estimates to build my deck, replace my gate and my fence he was the one with the lowest estimate. After he gave me my estimate, I didn't hesitate to go to him to have my work done because of all the positive reviews he had on Yelp and I'm a big Yelper! Joe gave my husband and I his expertise on lots of our projects and we always trust him with any of our house projects and we wouldn't dare see anyone else!! He's done my whole deck and beautiful trellis, replaced my gate and fence and he even stained everything so they can match! I also had him fix my rotting wood outside of my chimney and he did such a great job replacing it and painting that part to match the rest of the house! He will be back again to replace my master bedroom window and water heater door as soon as the parts come in. All I can say is if you are looking for a reliable contractor who is very reasonable and won't try to over charge you then Joe and his team at Bumble Bee are the ones you need to see. Very honest company and their quality of work is excellent!!! read more

Bumble Bee Construction - The beautiful deck, trellis, and fence that Joe and his crew from Bumble Bee construction did! - General Contractors Near Me

Had Joe and his hard working crew, Leonardo and Johnathan replace our back deck and we couldn't be happier. Being nit picky by nature (and who wouldn't be when shelling out $6,000 for a small deck), we had a check list of things we wanted done a certain way. They went out of their way to make sure those things were done and that we were happy with the results. From start to finish they handled everything and left the job site just the way they found it. After only 3 days we had a beautiful new deck. Thank you Joe. read more

I was looking for a contractor to build a deck in my backyard. Finding a good contractor is time consuming and hard and even harder if you are looking for someone who can build a specialty "Trex "deck.Trex is a composite deck material which requires strict installation procedures per the manufacturer's requirements and requires minimum maintenance over the years. After talking to several contractors, I decided to go with Bumble Bee Construction. Joe the owner of the Bumble Bee is a master craftsman. He not only did an excellent job, but also helped me get City / County permit. He and his crew were courteous and professional to deal with. I am very happy with Bumble Bee 's work Ken K. read more

After receiving quotes from contractors to replace wood siding on my home for a considerable amount of money, I was directed to Joe Iteriano of Bumblebee Construction by a painting contractor for an alternative solution. Joe did not hesitate to advise me that repair, not replacement would suit my needs. He explained in detail how that would work and spent time describing the process to me. I had not scheduled the work to begin when I received a phone call from Joe on a Sunday night saying he could start the job the next day. I was happy to comply. Joe's pleasant crew completed the job in a day and some hours, cleaned up the worksite and did a great job. Joe was available throughout the day, was very attentive and before we signed off on the work and made sure that I was happy with what he had done. He has a genuine concern for his customers. He also noticed a dangerous situation involving a deck on the property next to mine and wanted to make sure that the owner was aware of it. I have no hesitation in recommending Bumblebee construction for your carpentry needs. read more

I received bids from four companies to replace the siding and paint a good portion of our house. Bumble Bee's bid was the most reasonable for the work required. I never go just for a low bid, rather, for how I feel about the contractor. Joe made me comfortable from day one, and his and Leo's work was exceptional. Beyond the great work, they were very professional and fun to have around our home. I was so pleased with their work, attitude, cleanliness of the job site, well, everything, that I gave them a significant, very well deserved bonus. Now how often does that happen! read more

Joe Interiano and crew of Bumble Bee Construction custom built a stunningly beautiful detached sun room for us in our back yard in Pinole, California. Working only from a magazine photo and our amateur drawings, Bumble Bee created a deck and enclosed glass room that transformed our garden. We hoped for a three-season room. The results exceed our expectations: we find the room so well insulated and water-tight that it can be used year-round, providing shelter from the wind, sun, and rain for us and our guests. Joe added touches that enhanced both beauty and functionality: an overhang on the front side, a cedar knee-wall inside and out, redwood trim for windows and doors on the sun room, and built-in corner benches for the deck. In addition, Bumble Bee built a dramatic pergola on our property that complements both our house and the new deck and sun room. Joe and team were always pleasant to work with, respectful of our time, and creative in solving a few design issues that came up as we went along. My husband and I give Bumble Bee our unqualified and enthusiastic recommendation. read more

I worked with Joe closely to design a deck and with his knowledge and expertise we were able to create something that exceeded our expectations. We were looking for something modern that expanded our living/entertaining space and Joe worked it out for us easily and made sure that it was built in a way that would last. The craftsmanship was excellent, Joe picked each board in the deck by hand, and Joe talked me through any concerns I had around design or function. I know the deck was well built because several months after it was built, we had an unfortunate tree fall that did superficial damage. Joe was easily reachable in our time of stress and he worked with us to get through the insurance and repair process. I recommend Joe and Bumblebee construction wholeheartedly. read more

I wish I could give Joe of Bumble Bee Construction 6 stars, but suppose 5 stars will have to suffice. I called Bumble Bee Construction on whim after seeing an advertisement and I'm so glad I did.
