The Pedestal sink was damaged (cracked) by Reasonable Remodels crew before they installed it. They offered to replace it but never did. There are numerous issues with the installation of the tiles. Pictures with descriptions show the many issues. Reasonable Remodels proposed to: "Straighten any uneven tile edges Level any tiles that are too high or low Properly seal the shower handle plate Replace the pedestal sink with the correct unit" Reasonable Remodels replied to our list of issues: "We're a small operation--not a large company with endless resources--but that's also reflected in our pricing." Their proposal to straighten uneven tile edges and level tiles too high or too low was not sufficient. The shower walls and bathroom floor tiles needed to be demolished and completely redone. We decided NOT to have Reasonable Remodels attempt any rework. The quality of their initial work did not merit them performing any other work on our property.

Off the bat he started making tile cuts on the pavement out front leaving saw marks everywhere. The tile in the bathroom is so uneven that the toilet doesn't rest evenly on the floor, water has been leaking out and has warped our brand new sink. I bought some transitioning strips, it wasn't cheap, he advised me it was the wrong type so he bought a cheaper type of strip that doesn't match and I'm assuming he kept the better ($80) trim and remaining baseboard. It wasn't in the junk pile or anywhere in the house. The cuts for the trim are awful and they aren't even fixed to the flooring. Where I was at fault was that I didn't have enough tile to finish the bathroom. And it was as simple as me buying more. That is what a consultation is for, to make sure you as a professional have everything you need to get the job done right. Preparation is the most time consuming part of the job. If I had time for the prep work I'd have done the job myself. I never approved the job he did. On the day I was supposed to pay him he never showed. He knows he did a crap job as he never came for his payment. He asked $300 for the job, I would have given him $600 for a job well done. A lot of handymen are booked out right now, we were in a hurry to make some upgrades to sell the house. My advice for anyone looking to have work done, its worth waiting for a professional with integrity.

He came and installed quickly and efficiently. No more leaks! Additionally, I had been in the process of installing new Subzero and Wolf appliances in the kitchen. The company has very strict requirements for installation of the refrigerator. Upon inspection, it was determined that the above refrigerator cabinet had to be raised to accommodate the new refrigerator hight. Also, the electrical outlet needed to be moved up several feet because all the electrical workings sit on top of the refrigerator, rather than below like most refrigerators. Chuey was able to make the necessary changes BUT, it didn't stop there! Because Subzero suggests a "built in" look for esthetics, I needed to add panels to fill a small gap. I could have purchased panels from Subzero for an added cost but Chuey was able to create a wood panel and stain it to match existing wood cabinets. This also required the crown molding on top the cabinets had to be added to fit the new changes. Chuey was able to find moldings and stained this to match. Chuey managed to work around both our busy schedules and this was much appreciated. I am very happy with my new appliances and all the extra work Chuey did to retrofit and create a beautiful esthetics in the kitchen! I would recommend Chuey and plan on more projects for his handy work!

I called another company for free mold testing. The technician arrived quickly and used a moisture detector on a few spots of the wall, then told me I could have a pervasive problem needing the wall opened. The whole "test" took around 10 minutes and I was quoted an arm and a leg. I called my insurance agent and the agent called M3 for an inspection. Angel came by the same afternoon. By the time he arrived, the water droplets were gone. He used his moisture detector and themo-imaging device, but couldn't find abnormalities. He had a hunch on what could have caused the water to build-up near the window but continued his investigation. He crawled up to my attic and confirmed that the condensation was because 1) my ceiling paint wasn't water-proof, 2) the family takes shower one-after-another and the bathroom was not well ventilated, and 3) there's an external vent on top of the window. These combinations resulted in the morning condensation that was all dissipated in the afternoon. The investigation took about an hour, including Angel patiently explaining how he confirmed his findings and ways to mitigate the condensation issue. Angel was professional throughout. I got to keep my arm and leg and can now rest assured knowing the issue wasn't pervasive and steps to prevent health risks. THANK YOU!
