We hired KCK to remodel our kitchen as well as do some structural work. We love the results. KCK was the best bid out of three. The KCK bid was super fair and very detailed. KCK did incredible work and worked very closely with us on everything. Kevin and Carlos are amazing guys and are super on top of everything and very attune to their client's needs. We could not have asked for better service. We are 100% going to use them again for a future home expansion. if you are trying to decide between KCK and another contractor go with KCK. 100% you will have no regrets and KCK will take care of you. KCK thank you so much for our wonderful kitchen we really appreciate it and will be reaching out with more work as soon as we have saved up for it. Thank you KCK!!!!! read more

I highly recommend KCK Construction & Remodeling! They repaired my pocket door quickly and professionally. What really impressed me was their honesty--they actually reduced the final bill below their original estimate after completing the work. About a month later, the door jammed again. KCK immediately honored their three-month warranty, opened the wall, installed a completely new sliding door frame, and didn't charge me a penny. It's rare to find a contractor who is this honest, dependable, and committed to standing behind their work. Professional, courteous, and trustworthy from start to finish. Five stars! read more

Fantastic customer service from KCK! I requested an inspection for a house I'm considering purchasing. They were able to come out in two days to do the inspection and gave me rough estimates on the spot. They were very knowledgeable, explained everything kindly, and were very personable and comfortable to be around. I thought their estimates were reasonable too. My husband and I plan on using them when we fix the pieces they inspected. read more

Outstanding experience with KCK - great family business. We hired them to renovate a kitchen, but plan to have them come back for a home addition and other larger projects. Highlights are - Communication and Timeline: They were extremely responsive and kept us informed every step of the way. What impressed me most was their ability to stick to the agreed-upon timeline. They completed the entire project in exactly 3 weeks as promised, with no delays or surprises. - Attention to Detail: The quality of their work is exceptional. Every aspect of the renovation shows meticulous attention to detail, from the precision of the installations to the finishing touches. It's clear they take pride in their craftsmanship. - Cleanliness: Despite the nature of renovation work, they kept our space remarkably clean throughout the project. They cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day, which made living through the renovation much more manageable than we anticipated. - Flexibility: One of the things I appreciated most was their flexibility when we decided half way through to remove a cabinet that wasn't originally in the plan. They adapted quickly to the change without any hassle and incorporated it seamlessly into the project timeline (of course there were some change fees $$) I would absolutely hire them again for future projects and recommend them without reservation to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled, and professional contractor. read more

KCK did an amazing job repairing our leaking patio. They helped us through a very difficult experience. We had significant water intrusion and damage leaking from our patio into the bedroom. They came to the rescue to help mitigate further damage during the rain storm. They worked fast and with the three week break in the rain they immediately started repairing our patio and bringing everything to code and solid water proofing system. They went above and beyond working on a tight timing to finish our project before the rain storm! We are amazed with the results and looking forward to hosting and making wonderful family memories on our beautiful patio. I'll update photos of the patio soon! read more

I have worked with KCK Construction on multiple projects now. They have been great on pricing, very organized. They pay attention to all the details in my plans. The quality of work is excellent and projects get completed on time. I can not recommend them enough to all my design clients. read more

We had a full bathroom remodel: retiling the floors, replacing vanity & mirror, redoing the sinks / shower system / quartz walls and shower doors. Kevin and Carlos were very communicative throughout process, and a pleasure to work with. Their $ proposal was competitive. The crews were pros with high quality work, very clean (always cleaning up at the end of every day), and very knowledgeable on plumbing, electrical, and flooring even with our custom orders (rain shower + hand shower + spout). They completed the remodel a week early, even coming in saturdays so we could get to using our new bathroom sooner than expected! The measure of a good contractor is if you would re-use them for other remodeling projects - we look forward to doing so! And we would wholeheartedly recommend them to friends! read more

I am delighted with the experience I've had with KCK. Writing as I wrap up the remodel of two bathrooms, I can attest to KCK's quality workmanship, efficiency and professionalism. I'm stunned by the results. The carpentry is beautiful, the lighting on point and the tiling to perfection. KCK managed it all and offered professional advice for layouts, design and aesthetic. Moreover, I assumed the remodels would be like so many nightmares I've heard about from other contractors. Not so with KCK. Crews arrived early, achieved construction goals each day, and worked without extended gaps or wait time in the process. They are wrapping up right on schedule. Finally, Kevin and Carlos are honest people who guide their business with integrity. They are kind and thoughtful, as are their crews. I highly recommend KCK. read more

We're so happy with our new massive sliding door, picture window, and skylight! The added light is incredible and has made our space feel so much larger and more open. Kevin and his team matched our existing aesthetic perfectly. Communication was prompt and detailed, and we always knew what was ahead of us for the week and if there were any changes needed along the way. We were also able to live in our home during the work. The team was very respectful and careful keeping the dust separate from our living space, and they cleaned up at the end of each day. We'd definitely be happy to work with KCK again if we have any renovations in the future read more

We had a excellent experience working with KCK Construction for a room addition project in Danville, CA. Kevin and Carlos, the two brothers who run the business, were a pleasure to work with and are eager to ensure their customers are happy. Kevin, Carlos, and their whole crew were punctual, met deadlines, and delivered excellent quality work. The onsite team was respectful, professional, and always made sure we were comfortable with the work before moving forward. They were a friendly and professional crew and worked hard the entire 5 weeks. Communication is key with these projects, and Kevin and Carlos set up a group text through which we communicated almost on a daily basis on plans for the day or the next couple of days, and any changes that came up. As with any major remodel, there were a few unexpected issues and some additional work that came up, but KCK handled everything smoothly and guided us through the process with expertise, they navigated the additional city permits and approvals with ease and kept us in the loop. One important lesson we learned: the architectural firm involved in any remodel is equally important. In hindsight, I would recommend that anyone--no matter which contractor you choose--ask for references and do your own research on any architectural or engineering firm that will be part of the project. This extra step can make a big difference in your overall experience. If you believe in supporting a local, family-owned, and growing business, then KCK is your company. KCK Construction did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them for any remodel or construction needs. We are more than happy with the outcome, thank you KCK! read more

KCK Construction did an outstanding job creating a new floor entry to my crawlspace. For decades, the house addition's crawlspace was sealed and had no access point, but KCK quickly identified a safe and practical location, then completed the project efficiently in just half a day. The new opening is wide, sturdy, and neatly finished with trim for a secure fit. They even rerouted the nearby ductwork so that no utilities were disturbed. I'm extremely pleased with their work and would gladly hire them again. read more

KCK did a great job with a difficult repair on our home where we were experiencing water intrusion from a second floor balcony during heavy rain. Their team located the leak in an area of exposed flashing by removing balcony boards and adjacent siding, and then did a superb job installing new home wrap and siding, applying new sealant, and painting the new surfaces. We now have a watertight seal and will be bone dry when the rains come. The repair blended seamlessly with the existing structure, and we were really impressed with how thorough and conscientious their workers were in paying attention to every detail. Kevin and Carlos were great to work with, both were really friendly and responsive. They checked in with us frequently about how the work was going, and the total cost was quite reasonable. I would definitely recommend KCK for a bigger construction or remodeling project, it looks like they can handle most anything! read more

We had KCK do our bathroom/ main bedroom remodel due to a water leak. They were very helpful maneuvering through insurance (USAA was so difficult and not helpful). They helped us figure out what will work in the space. My bedroom and bathroom turned out so beautiful. We love it. Everyone worked so hard and efficient to get the job done right. When there were any questions about something we were brought into the conversation to make sure it was what we wanted and agreed to. We are so happy with our remodel. We would definitely recommend KCK for all your construction needs. Thanks KCK. I posted old and new photos read more

KCK recently did a month-long project for us, consisting of wall repairs following a small flood, then replacing all the flooring throughout our 3800 SFT house with new hardwood, as well as painting all interior walls. Their workers assigned to our project were very professional, friendly and really seemed to care about the quality of their work. Their management team was easy to work with, communicative and honored their commitments to finish on-time, sticking to a tight schedule. These types of projects are never fun for the homeowner, plus we both work at home and didn't move out during the work. This one was no different, it was a hard few weeks, but KCK and their team did everything they could to make it as comfortable as possible for us. We are happy with the finished job and would hire KCK again. read more

I needed some electrical work on some plugs that kept tripping the GFI outlets. It wouldn't reset no matter what we did. Their electrician came with right away & discovered some plugs were linked together that should not have been. He fixed them all! He explained everything & was very friendly & respectful. Good price also. I will definitely use them again! read more

We decided to remove the backsplash on our kitchen walls, and had to get our bathroom sinks & bath sealed as it had cracks that were leaking water into the walls. It was great to meet Carl's & Kevin - originally we hired them only to deal with the leaks in our bathroom, given their enthusiasm, friendliness and high quality of work we decided to get the Kitchen work done by them as well. They were always professional, came across as people who cared about their work. Their prices were reasonable too. We are very happy with their work, and will hire them again when we need work done. Thank you both & your team. read more

Let me begin by saying I've found it extremely difficult over the years to find a strong contractor that has everything you want - a fair price, detail oriented, customer oriented, highly competent, performs great quality work, ethical and works quickly within timelines. I recently did a bathroom remodel and talked to six licensed verified contractors through Yelp. I ended up hiring KCK Construction and Remodeling and they were fantastic! Met all my needs and I couldn't be more happy with my bathroom. I'm now referring them to everyone I know. I'm very careful to do this because it's my reputation but I have zero worries with these guys. I know they will take great care of anyone that hires them. Thank you Kevin and Carlos. You and your team were amazing! Bringing you back for the next remodel project! read more

Kevin and Carlos did an excellent job. Their prices were fair, they were very responsive and communicative along the way. Their workers provided detailed work and their office provides detailed bids and photos of everything they do, so everyone is on the same page. They even came back to give the work site an extra cleaning/disinfecting after the job was complete, which we really appreciated. I would highly recommend KCK Construction for moisture remediation and plumbing repairs. We hope to use them again in the near future for remodeling too! read more

My new bathroom is fabulous. The guys did great work. Kept me calm throughout the process.

Kevin, Carlos and team did what they promised to do for us within the budget we were comfortable within the timeline expected! We had a shower leak that ruined our tiling so we got that replaced and some extra things like renewing our vanities and faucets along with our lighting, some floor tiling and removing the nasty builder grade mirror we had from the 70's. It was definitely a little difficult not having a shower at home for a few days but they did the best they could due to waiting on materials. Thanks for getting the job done and they didn't hesitated to fix minor things we saw or wanted adjusted. I would recommend them and reach out if we need other projects done in the future! read more

KCK worked on 4 separate projects with us: 1- install luxury vinyl flooring on top of existing tiles 2- install retention wall and fake grass in the backyard 3- paint the exterior walls 4- install custom made kitchen island and replace the fireplace mantle What I liked the most about KCK: 1- all the work was done at a very reasonable time frame with excellent quality except for small touchups which were taken care of as requested 2- they listened to our requirements and delivered accordingly while making sure they made right suggestions where needed 3- they were extremely careful about the furniture around the house while installing the floors and cleaned up well after themselves 4- they excelled at the custom kitchen island with the design given to them and it came out better than we expected KCK is a one stop shop for all house remodeling and if I need more work around the house in future I would definitely hire KCK again and would highly recommend KCK to others. I love how my house turned out with these small changes which totally turned around the overall look of my house inside and out. Thanks to KCK! read more

Kevin and Carlos are absolutely amazing. From my first interaction with them, I could tell that I would be in good hands. I needed to coordinate my kitchen remodeling with painting and it was really last minute that I started shopping for a one stop shop that will help me with remodels. Kevin readily agreed to shop the materials for me and start the work on super short notice. I think KCK turned out to be the best value for money given the budget we had. They went above and beyond to accommodate some delays on my end and got the job done fabulously! Can't wait to get more work done around the house. read more

This is our second job with KCK and they have certainly gained us as loyal customers! We had rain leaking into the house through a window where there was dry rot on the trims, ultimately causing water damage to surrounding siding, etc. Kevin and Carlos were very honest and offered suggestions -- without cutting corners -- to remedy the issue within our budget. They were super communicative throughout the whole process. The crew was always on time with a smile on their faces, their workmanship was spot on and they took extra care to prep workspace and clean up afterwards. Thanks again guys! read more

We were moving into an older style house and needed someone who was reliable, professional, friendly, and TRUSTWORTHY. After sifting through several contractors on ThumbTack, I stumbled on these two guys from KCK. Kevin spoke with me within minutes of me requesting to be contacted (even late in the evening!) And I already knew I was going to hire him. He was very responsive by text (which I love) and took all my requests and questions HAPPILY. He never made me feel like I was bothering or asking too much. I could always hear him speaking with a smile if we were on the phone. His brother Carlos is so sweet too! They're focus is customer service, which lets be honest, not the main focus of many contracting companies. We needed carpeted removed - LVP installed, removal of ugly lighting and install of recessed lights, demo of current primary closet and sealing of our tile entryway. They did it all in about a week; which is absurdly fast and they did it to accommodate our tight timeline to move into our new house before my daughter starts school. They were flexible, they worked OT, just to help us as a stressed family relocating to a new city. Literally, best experience. German was my lead contractor doing the work and he was so gracious and thoughtful. (And duh the craftsmanship was awesome). I get no discounts or kick backs for writing this review, I just want everyone to know that you'll have a great experience if you want a one-stop-shop team. Movers, cleaners, contractors, electricians, etc: they have it all. Thank you Kevin and Carlos for the awesome experience! German, you're my favorite! And I'll be bugging you all as we continue to improve our new home! Photos to come! read more

KCK team worked for my house drain leaking issue in garage. Kevin and Carlos both are friendly, respond to me quickly . They start the job on time, the leak was inside the wall, they opened the wall to figure out the leak source, fixed it and took a fan to dry out the wet inside wall. a couple of days later they came again to restore the wall and painted it. They also restored the big ceiling hole made by other people which is not listed in estimate doc. I was happy with KCK team's good job.
