I visited Alur Studios for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and I had such a wonderful experience! Jessica was my hairstylist, and she was absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly smile and immediately felt welcomed and comfortable. Jessica did such a great job listening to what I wanted and took the time to thoroughly explain the process before getting started. As someone with curly hair, I especially appreciated how knowledgeable and educational she was. She taught me so much about curly hair styling, different techniques, and the products that would work best for my hair. I truly appreciated how patient she was in answering my questions and making sure I understood everything. Jessica was also very transparent about pricing, which I really appreciated. I left feeling confident, informed, and so happy with my hair! I took my 11 year old daughter for her first curly cut. Her hair is long and dry and it seemed as her curls were gone. I reached out to Jessica on Instagram because I had seen a post of a client she had who had similar hair as my daughter and her curls came back. Jessica is extremely knowledgeable and very patient with my daughter. She explained each process she was doing on her and showed us great products to use and how to use them. She made my daughter feel comfortable when washing and cutting her hair. She gave my daughter the reinsurance she needed because she did not want to loose her length. After Jessica was done my daughter was so happy with the results we both couldn't believe the results we definitely didn't tink my daughters curls would come back with one visit and they absolutely did. jessica was the best!!! cannot stress this enough. i haven't had anything done to my hair in yearrrss. i was scared of ruining my curl pattern again and also just it looking ugly. after a lot and back and forth with myself i decided to just say fuck it and book. i was really nervous but lowkey the minute i got inside jessica was really sweet and very knowledgeable and meticulous and just gave me great vibes immediately so i felt really comfortable and it was easy to trust her with my hair. i left the appointment with the bounciest curls ive ever had before lol. also i think the color looks really good on me, i couldn't decide for a while lol but she helped me feel confident :) i also didn't have to bleach my hair which was great. anyway great experience here literally dont have any complaints :p read more

We took both our boys here and Nino was fantastic. He was Professional, skilled, and was really good with the kids. Especially for a barber cutting children's hair, they have to be patient and able to communicate well to get the kids to stay still and let them know what's coming up next. He was great at that! The boys also wanted designs cut into their fades and Nino hooked that up with no problem. Seeing their faces when they hopped out of the chair was priceless. Tried out this barber today and was able to do a walk in, Nino was able to take me in, and boy did he make the line up crispy. Great conversation and made you feel like you were at home.
