Luxe is a great salon. I always have a good experience here. I have been getting tape in extensions with Chloe for YEARS now and she always does a great job. My hair is actually thicker than it used to be. She is super gentle when taking them out as well. I drive an hour both ways just to get my hair done with Chloe! If you want tape in extensions trust me, she is your girl! read more

I wanted write a review on behalf of my dear friend who booked a cut and color appointment. The appointment was set via TikTok. The first appointment, the stylist claimed the appointment was for just a cut despite scheduling for both. So then the appointment was changed to a later date to include both services. Everything was scheduled and the day before the appointment the stylist blocks her on TikTok. This was absolutely rude and unprofessional. I hope the salon manager sees the type of stylists she's allowing to work at their establishment. If anyone goes here, beware. read more

I've been going to Angelie for a few years now and just want to express how amazing she is! I'm always happy leaving the salon. This particular time I had gone to someone else, in a bit of a rush and they completely ruined my hair, the after picture is what Angelie did to it and how she fixed it & brought it back to life. she totally made me feel like me again and I'm completely happy with the results! She is always so truthful and gives great advice and product recommendations to help with what your hair needs. I'll never go to anyone else. Thank you so much Angelie! read more

Unfortunately I will not be returning to this salon ever again. I went into this salon wanting to have my hair colored and to get tape in extensions. The overall vibe and experience (in the salon) was very good and my stylist was very friendly and nice. When I left I was satisfied with the appearance of my hair. Now, I know tape-ins can be a bit uncomfortable (which they were painful when I left) but I just continued on with my day. As days went on the pain became more and more painful, so painful that where the tape-ins were installed was throbbing. I reached out to the hairstylist but didnt get a response so I contacted several other hairstylists to look at my head and get advice via photos. They all recommend to remove immediately as they were not installed properly, they were to close to the scalp with to much tension. My friend who is also a licensed hairstylist said the same thing and helped me remove them that night (which was 6 days of me having them in). I finally got a hold of the stylist who did my hair and let her know of the situation. She told me I had a sensitive scalp and it could have been caused by some underlining health issues. (That is not the case) as I told her that I've bleach my hair and had things done to my hair for years and NEVER had any scalp issues like this. I did ask for a partial refund and not a full refund. I asked for a partial refund because of the physical bodily harm that was caused to me due to the improper installation. I was told no; that once my head heals she'll just install them again just further away from the root and I will not be receiving a refund. Not only did I not have the hair in for that long (6 days) but if I didnt remove them it could have caused even further permanent damage to my scalp. I spent $450 not including the tip of $40 that I gave the stylist. read more

I would not recommend this hair stylist after the burn mark on the back of my neck the stylist name Angelie needs to go back to school. She's very unprofessional. Not qualified to be a hairstylist I believe they need to hire real professionals and not wanna bee's. I was traumatized when I saw that bloody Mark behind my neck and she did not say nothing. She was so unprofessional! I would give her 0 starts read more

I recently got married and I needed a spray tan for my wedding. I recently moved to the area and I didn't know anyone. So I came across this Salon on Yelp. I called the salon and they answered all of my questions. They were so polite and professional that it made all of my worries go away. The moment I showed up, I was greeted at the door and given water. This is a very nice salon! Juliann was great to work with and very professional. I felt very at ease and I knew that she would do a great job. I got my spray tan on Wednesday morning and was married that Saturday. My tan looked so good that everyone complimented me on it. I loved that it did not look orangey and that Juliann matched it to my skin tone. Highly recommend!!!! read more

Update it's been 8 weeks since my hair was butchered and color was botched. I recently went in to get my hair blow dried at a different salon with a girl I've never met she asked me who cut my hair and did my color. She noticed my layers were butchered and my highlights were brassy and felt so bad for me. She fixed my curtain bangs and did some face framing something that Angeline said was not possible. I immediately felt my confidence return once I saw my hair done. We laughed about the situation and I told her that I'm still traumatized till this day. I hated my hair and I replay this horrible experience every day in my head because I honestly can't understand why Angelie did me so dirty. I felt so validated and heard! Morale of the story beware of you trust with your hair. Don't make the mistake like I did getting her contact info from a Facebook group she posted her services on. Shout out to Julees in Covina thank you for fixing me up! read more

I was originally unhappy with my experience and shared on yelp but Luxe Salon went above and beyond to make it right. Annette, the owner, reached out and got me in super fast with Abby. Abby was so sweet and toned my hair exactly how I wanted i love how it looks now! They even gifted me a shampoo and conditioner that's perfect and fits my hair type, which was such so thoughtful I really appreciated it. I really appreciate the professionalism and care they showed. I went to Marcos for a color correction and deep conditioning after my hair appointment at a different salon. My hair was left orange and dead. Marcos knew exactly how to fix it leaving my hair hydrated and with a beautiful blonde color (I have /had very dark hair.) Blonding is definitely a skill set and Marcos is one of the most amazing colorist I've ever had work on my hair. I've added before and after pictures. I would give this place 0 stars, I just found out that this place charged my daughter $750 for a calico hair dye. She was originally quoted $350-$400. When finished she was told $750, my daughter who does not like to question anything agreed & went to the bank to pull out another $350 dollars. My daughter at the time was 17 & had this done for her graduation. I am disgusted with the way my daughter was taken advantage of, very upset with LUXE ... Why do that to such a young girl. I could say a lot more but I'll keep it to just this.... (May of 2025) read more

I am 41, and have been to a salon only 8 times in my entire life. I have curly 3c hair that has breakage (so no hair cuts needed), and has a texture that seems like NO ONE knows how to work with. I am mixed and I have been to every type of salon, and every time left either in tears or upset at how much money I just spent, only to go home and wash it out or redo it myself. This is the FIRST TIME I actually found someone that didn't send me home in tears. I finally found someone who could help. read more

Booked with Lina for a Sunday afternoon and was absolutely blown away by the experience. To start, Lina's personality, charisma, and just overall style was absolutely contagious. She was easy to talk to and a WEALTH of knowledge. I let her know that I wanted long layers that made my hair feel light and airy, and BOY did she deliver. I have never had such a wonderful, luxurious hair cut! I am glad I didn't have to sacrifice length in this case! I thought I would have to chop it all off in order to have less weight on my head but that definitely was not the case. Will definitely be re-booking before my trip to Puerto Rico. read more

Well natural began looking like a witch. So I reached out to Lina Ali at Luxe. I found her through Google. She actually wasn't even scheduled to work that day, but she went out of her way to come help a new customer. Not just help, transform which took 4 hours. She did a beautiful job and she has earned a customer for life. A+++ on the Hair and A++++ for her customer service! read more

First, I normally don't comment or mention the reviews of others in my personal review, but after a recent review of Melinda (who is amazing) I felt compelled to write my review. As a client, we should be managing our expectations of what a stylist can accomplish based on techniques and hair types and chemistry. You can't ask any stylist to perform something unrealistic and then be disappointed when some chemistry miracle doesn't happen. Now, onto my actual review. Melinda has given me my absolute dream hair, and has successfully taught me how to upkeep it, but has maintained this awesome cut and color I've always wanted. She is so chill, very honest and real, while remaining professional. You can tell from being in her chair that she knows hair like the back of her hand, and is incredibly versatile in her techniques and what she is able to accomplish. GO SEE MELINDA!!! read more

I absolutely ADORE Lina. I went to her at her last salon years ago, and today went to see her again. I've lived in 4 different countries since the last time I saw her, and not a single hairstylist in those countries came close to how amazing Lina is. She is the CURLY QUEEN! She's BEYOND skilled in curly cuts. I always feared getting my hair cut because of how bad some stylist are with curly hair- but I never have had that fear with Lina holding the scissors! She's honest when it comes to the style you want- if it's not going to look cute she'll recommend something that WILL look cute. If you just want a trim, she'll give you just a trim. My hair always feels pillowy soft days after leaving the salon. She's got an amazing personality and will keep you smiling during your session. She'll talk you through what she's doing as she does it as well. I can't stress it enough, she is the BEST. She also does amazing blowouts & gives your hair LOTS of volume & curls that hold. You'll walk out EVERY SINGLE TIME feeling like a princess after Lina works her magic Dark haired pic is the cut/styling from today Light haired pic is previous balayage/highlighting + styling done by Lina The salon is also beautiful + clean! super spacious and quiet (so you and your stylist can communicate effectively and easily!) read more

My experience at Luxe salon is nothing short of luxury. Coming through the doors with the brick and white walls, high ceilings, and the leather chairs.. the vibes are immaculate My stylist and dear friend Kat is so attentive and meets my needs and preferences with every appointment I have with her. She has treated my hair when it was virgin and has always kept in mind the integrity of it. Also, sitting on the wash bowl chairs are so comfy and Kat gives great head massages. I usually go for an ashy bronde balayage and we keep going lighter because I'm obsessed with my new look. Lina was absolutely amazing. She was able to take me as a last-minute client after I had to relocate my wedding due to structural damage of the venue. I've been trying to get over how much I hate my hair. It's been 4 days and I still want to cry. César has done my hair twice before and completely missed the mark this time. I reached out to him in the kindest way possible about the color and cut which was uneven. He completely came off so rude which was surprising as I've known him for over a year. Offered to fix the cut after blaming me for it. Spent over a year lighting my hair little by little just for him to dye it dark reddish brown. I'm so sad about it. All he offered was to fix the cut but after our conversation I was not comfortable at all. Never going back and never recommending him again. read more
