i don't usually get my finger nails done since i do press ons but i decided to get gel x today and…read moreim disappointed :( i saw good reviews about katie and thought she would be a good choice but i didn't get the same experience as others. she was nice but she rushed my nails and they came out sloppy. i asked her to fix the paint on the sides and she said she had to file it, i said ok and when i checked the problem was still there. they were about to close and after i mentioned it the second time and she said it was filing issue, i kinda just let it go and let her finish. you can see in the pictures that they're sloppy and there's paint missing on the sides and gaps small gaps between my cuticle and the nail. i'll be back for pedicures for sure but im done getting my finger nails done here.

I wish she would've let me know in advance she was running late. I was bothered by the fact that my tech has no sense of urgency, didn't acknowledge me the entire time she was finishing her client. She even walked past me outside with her client to take photos of her nails while already running late af. I really wanted to walk out and get my nails done somewhere else but my card was on file and I was afraid I'd be marked as a no show even though I was on time. I finally get sat down, I expressed that I was upset but she didn't seem to care or know how to react at all. The owner, Wendy was super nice and still trying to make my experience a good one. I appreciated that. I even apologized because I felt like I came off so rude, but can you blame me? The rest of the appointment went fine, we talked a bit and she did pretty much what I asked for but now that I'm home I really feel like I was ripped off. If my birthday wasn't the next day, I would've tried to find somewhere else to go.. I spent like $165 on a pedicure and gel x set with designs. Please see the designs in my photo. I did compliment my nails, I did tell her that I'd really liked them because the French she did on my toes was good! but when I got home and actually examined the work on my hands up close, the chrome isn't even that well done. The designs she drew on were sloppy! I posted my nails in a nail fb group for an opinion on my nails and experience and everyone told me it was 100% not worth what I paid. They said the execution was bad and she was unprofessional, which I agree. They were even surprised she didn't give any type of courtesy discount considering how late she was. $3 off my callus removal is not sufficient lol. They have a 15 minute grace period for late clients, they should really have something in place for when their techs are 40+ mins late. I honestly wouldn't come back. Way way overpriced.

They used a used drill bit to scrub your feet (not a pumice stone), i watched the nail tech use it on the lady before me and come and use it on me and the lady after me next. I was too shy to say anything but that was alarming. She was using a heavily used nail file as well.

When I saw myself I gasped and told her she left me with patches of hair missing she told me it already was like that... I added a picture of my eyebrow before the service and after. She didn't even wax me correctly there is still a lot of hair that she missed. This is unacceptable I still had to pay for her messing up my eyebrow. I am disappointed. I went in last Tuesday for a full set with gel x. Starts at 65, and I requested extra long which I…read morewas quoted an extra $10. Perfectly fine. Except they actually don't have the extra long in stock, she was going to just apply the Long tip halfway down my nail bed. I declined and asked for the extra long tips I'm paying for. She then took out "xtra xtra long" and said $85 for these. So completely skipped over extra long and still charged me. Whatever , I agreed because benefit of the doubt. Once the foundation is laid, they ask me what designs I want. I showed them several pictures as inspiration and described what I would like, open to all suggestions and directions. They quoted me an additional $75 on top of the $85, and although I was completely shocked , I figured I was just out of my budget and needed to pick another design. Everything I suggested was $60+ on top of $85. Finally I asked ok what about French tip?! They said $25 extra. Okay, very expensive but I hope they look good. Keep in mind the entire time, only 1 person in the whole salon spoke English and whenever I would ask a question, my tech would yell for the English speaker very annoyed as if I was a problematic customer. I also got a full set gel x pedicure, and needed one nail repaired as it's growing back from falling off. When my tech was removing dead skin from the sides of my nail bed, she snipped my skin and cut me. In total for full set xtra long French tip and French tip gel x pedicure, I paid $190 not including tip. 3 days later, my repaired toe nail came off. Okay, maybe it was just too small of a nail. BUT THEN ON THE 4TH DAY, MY FINGERNAIL BREAKS IN HALF. $190 for basic nails, that break not even a full business week later. So disappointed, will never come back.
