This review is not based on actual services rendered. Over the last 3 years , I have made several attempts at getting a service here. The sign says walk ins welcome. I have tried several times to walking in. One time was at 2pm. Sorry. We can not take you. One time was at 10am. Sorry. Too busy. This last time was 11:30. Sorry. We are too busy. The last 2 times there were only a couple of customers. Ok. I understand if you have appts lined up and not much help. What I don't understand is no second option. Just...sorry no, bye. This last time I was even given a look up and down before a flat no. Needless to say, that was my last attempt at giving this local business any of my time. read more

I've been going to Lavish nails for years to get pedicures. The girls really take care of me. Everybody is friendly, they take their time and you can tell they're invested in their craft because of the great results. Yesterday I made the decision to take the plunge and try acrylics. I always just neglect my fingernails because they don't grow and nail polish always seems to come off so fast when I do them myself so I just don't bother. I thought, okay...why not finally try a professional for them? Well, I got almond-shaped nails in an active length and they are gorgeous. I have literally never seen my nails look so pretty. I had to rely on Becky's advice b/c I didn't know what I was doing or wanted and she did not steer my wrong. I LOVE the way they came out and I can't stop staring at them! (OMG vanity) They are a gorgeous bridal blush color that's trendy and they look so natural. They are not thick or bulky in the slightest, which I have always worried about when considering acrylics. They look like they grew right out of my own nail beds. I will go back in 2-3 weeks to get a fill. I haven't touched another nail place since I started getting pedis a few years ago and I don't plan to! Thanks ladies! read more

I rarely get my nails done anymore because I play guitar and all of my finger nails (especially the fretting hand) are always kept super short. Add to that that I am just not into having nails done regularly (I'm a bit of tom-boy at heart still!). But recently, my teenager has been hankering to go and I hadn't had a pedicure for a long time, so I thought, why not? My feet can always use some attention and care. Trusty Yelp to the rescue! I wanted something that day and something close by (we are very unplanned about stuff like this). Lavish Nails came up first on the list with amazing reviews. Becky got us in just a few hours after I inquired and did both of us; she is amazing, multitasking without sacrificing quality. And she is super nice to boot. Also, and though I don't have a ton of recent experience in these kinds of salons, their rates seemed very reasonable! I will be coming here regularly in the future. read more

Wife loved her nails! She called and made an appointment for Saturday afternoon since all their morning was booked. I dropped off my wife and took the kids to Costco while she got pampered. She liked the way they were very gentle with her nails and cuticles, thank you! She saw the tools being cleansed and disinfected. It wasn't that busy in which she got a more attention from multiple people, right on! It's a clean place, mellow area. Excellent excellent excellent! This place was quite beautiful. There are only 5 spa chairs so making an appointment is recommended but not necessary. They really take their time with your nails so you don't feel super rushed. I've been struggling to find a nail salon that would be my "go to" nail spa, and I feel like I've really found it!!!! read more

I'm still in the massage chair getting my pedicure done and I already can't wait to come back for my next appointment! Like another reviewer before me, I am new to the area and have been casually looking for a nearby nail salon. I messaged the business on Yelp during off hours and they replied to me instantly and were able to accommodate a next morning appointment. I was greeted right away and told to pick a color. The vibe is bright with a solid color selection, but what really stood out was the incredible massage by Kathleen! I am 38wks pregnant so it was the best thing ever, but even still I've never had such a thorough and LONG foot massage at any other salon, all whilst still getting one from the massage chair. From my chair I was people watching the others around me, and all the other techs were very meticulous in detail and accommodating to requests. The space is very clean as well. I decided to try this place today and unfortunately had a terrible experience. When I walked in, I greeted the two women working, but they just stared at me without responding. I went to the counter to check in, but no one came over--they continued to stare. As I looked for a waiting area, one of them finally asked, "What do you want?" I politely said "I'd like to get my nails done." her response was "which is?" I said "a manicure and pedicure." her response was "we are busy come back later." without offering a specific time. This was confusing because I arrived at 10 a.m. (they open at 9) and they were only servicing two people. Several pedicure chairs were empty, and I would have been fine waiting, but I wasn't given that option. Instead, I felt dismissed and unwelcome. In the end, I walked out. They clearly weren't busy, just unapolagetically rude. I refuse to beg someone to take my money. I'm sharing this so other people of color, are aware before wasting their time here. read more

I called for a last minute gel mani pedi and Becky, the owner, was able to squeeze me in the same day. I forget the name of the pedicurist but she was so nice. We didn't really talk but she had a happy look instead of a miserable expression on her face. The included massage was not rushed and done nicely. The manicure was done by Tran (she's the tall one) and it was so nice. We had a nice conversation and she is so good at her job. I showed her one photo and she made it better and asked my opinons often. If the work holds up well - I think I've found my spot! I have been trying a bunch of different places and this is the best so far! The price was $76 for Mani Pedi including gel color removal. Don't forget to tip if you get good service too! read more

Uhh I'm not really sure how this place acquired the amount of stars they have because THIS IS THE WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. Let me start by saying that my nails are absolutely horrific. My nail shape and lengths are all uneven. I ask for almond shape, I received a peculiar V shape. Not to mention, I walked in with super long natural nails. I intended to keep them somewhat long, but they were filed down to the brim. They cut me very deep TWICE and made me bleed. Not once did they apologize for their rough doing either. Plus, my cuticles weren't even properly cleaned since I still have bits of skin hanging on by a thread on them. I was thinking to myself how badly I wanted to leave already. My nails were already ruined before the polish was put on. Next, the polish was blotchy and sloppily applied. The whole time I felt the nail techs were rushing to get the job done because they close at 7, but Becky asked me to come at 6. If you guys are rushing to get out of here, don't take an appointment in at 6? They obviously didn't care for the quality of work. I mean see photos below to see the crap job I got. I found Lavish Nails through Yelp, and I'm happy to have my nails done here! I specifically went here because the work I saw was done well and it looked neat/clean from the Yelp pictures. I scheduled an appointment via Yelp with Becky almost a week in advance. I had a couple of ideas of what I want, but I showed Becky the pictures and she gave me her honest opinions. I really appreciated her advice. Originally, I wanted V shape french nails or French nails with color. I can't function with long nails, and Becky stated that my original idea would look better with long coffin nails. I can barely handle nails longer than the tip of my fingers. Once I confirmed the design and color, Becky went to work and took about an hour! That's super quick in the nail salon world. She's efficient and friendly. She always asked if I liked something like the length or color before she would finalize anything. All in all, I like Becky's work. I'll definitely start coming here more often! read more

I messaged Becky this morning on yelp, and she was able to fit me in today. Nicky did a beautiful job on my nails and Becky did the finishing touches. They were super kind, and I enjoyed talking to both of them. I was given a bottle of water, no extra costs were pushed on me, and everything was clean and sanitized. I was not expecting the total to be as low as it was for the quality of service. I get very self conscious about getting my nails done, and they didn't make me feel that way at all. I had called to ask if they had SNS DIP and they said yes, I asked if I could go in right away and she gladly said yes. I get there and she received me with such open arms and smiles. Becky is the name of the woman who owns the place. NAIL SALON: Super clean, everything is very well taken care of. The chairs are so comfy with the massage things on them (even though I had no clue how to work the chairs). The desks are very clean. The utensils are brand new. I was looking for a new local nail salon to fix my paws and claws since sandal season is here. I found Lavish on Yelp and sent a message to the salon for an appointment two weeks in advance. The owner responded within one business day to confirm my booked appointment. Nail service was amazing, I got manicure and pedicure (regular polish), service was great, and my pedicure lasted a full three weeks! I definitely plan on coming back here for my nail service!
