I just returned from being out of town for a month. I was a little tired. I needed my nails done and happen to see Lavish Nails reviews. It's 5 minutes from my front door. Very convenient for me. I called to inquire about pricing and product used for acrylics ....Becky answered the phone and what a real sweetheart!!! I made an appt for 2pm the same day (Saturday). I was pleasantly surprised I could get in the same day. As I mentioned I was tired from my travels and had to call at 12:45 to cancel. Couldn't keep my 2pm appt. Becky was very nice about the change. She proceeded to tell me the days and times the following week she worked when I was ready to go in. Becky is very genuine. When I rested I called back at 3pm and was able to get an appt at 4. My lucky day! ;) Becky has a beautiful personality and truly cares about people. I love that about her. The salon is beautifully decorated and very clean. I was thoroughly impressed with the whole experience. My nails look fantastic!!. The pedicure was relaxing and not for a minute felt rushed. I felt so PAMPERED!! Becky thank YOU so much for making my day and a very nice experience at LAVISH NAILS!!! You will not be disappointed with your visit and walk away loving your nails. I wish I could give Lavish Nails more than 5 Stars! read more

Becky and Tran are the sweetest. They run an amazing business. It's not crowded, it's not loud, they aren't yelling at each other. They treat each other and all the clients with the utmost respect. I also like that she doesn't overbook herself. They are very intentional with their scheduling so people get the attention they need and the self care they're looking for. Found this place on APU buy and sell Facebook page and so glad I did! They opened in September 2017 and have a promo going on until the end of the year! Which means call to make an appt in case they get busy. Very clean place with nice massage chairs wacute "Hi" and "Bye" pillows. They open a new tool kit which is awesome for sanitary reasons. Owner, Becky, is very friendly and welcoming. The other two staffs, Nicki and Nina, are awesome and attentive to doing the mani/pedi and the massage. Went back for the second time with a friend and still such a superb job! Second time I got Eric helping me with my gel polish and he was so attentive. read more

I think I've found my new go to nail salon. I went and got a gel mani and a regular (polish) pedi just over 3 weeks ago. My nails still look great. Tran did an amazing job. My nails haven't chipped, peeled, or cracked at all. I'm really happy about that. The picture I'm including here is after having visited Lavish nails over 3 weeks ago. I made another appointment for this Friday. So long as Tran works here, I will keep coming in. Also, the lady who did my pedicure when I was last there gave me the most amazing foot massage of my life. I wish I would've gotten her name. read more

I made an appointment for Friday evening at 6 for my best friend and I. Both of us were both coming from a good distance. She was coming from Riverside and I was driving from Rosemead so there was a lot of traffic despite us both leaving an hour before our appointment. I called them to let them know I was going to be about ten minutes late for my appointment and the owner was so kind and accommodating and told me that it wasn't a problem (I wasn't sure what there policy was since it was my first time). When we got there we were seated in about five minutes after picking our colors for the gel polish. They have a great selection of colors. The services we received were: gel mani and classic pedi for me and dip powder mani and gel pedi for my friend. My friend also decided last minute that she wanted to do dip powder nails, which they were also very accommodating about. They were so gentle and took their time. I didn't feel rushed at all even though it was so close to their closing time. Despite this being a little far from where I live and work, I would definitely consider coming back because the owner and her staff were so nice! I have them five stars for customer service and they also did a great job with my nails! read more

My mom recommended this place, our old spot in Covina isn't providing the same service as before. Becky is the owner of Lavish Nails and she is a sweetheart. Very professional. This salon is very clean and I feel safe here with regards to COVID safety. I found this place thanks to Yelp and since I was on vacation, was able to get an appointment the same day I inquired. The owner responds to Yelp appointment requests very quickly (and thankfully it was Monday morning). It's a small place but you can tell is new. There's 3 ladies working there; the owner left another salon place to start her own business, and hired 2 other technicians who are cousins. They are all very respectful and friendly, and very detail oriented. It's almost 4 weeks since I went and my pedicure is still in-tact! I would definitely go back. As long as the owner maintains the same quality and appointment-based system (walk-ins accepted if there's room), then I think this place will do very well. read more

Amazing! I won't go anywhere else, they do exactly what you want. Hands down the best place, very clean, the staff are very nice, the other clients seemed nice as well. it's a small quiet place which I love! This is now my go-to shop! Everyone was so kind. Becky came over as we entered and literally swatched colors on my nails to see which I liked best. This was a first as most places just make me pick from the ring of nail colors. They woman who did my nails was also very nice and did a great job. Their prices are also very inexpensive. I loved lavish salon. The owner Becky did my pedi! I haven't gotten in in months. She took her time she did not rush. She's not the type To over book and have you waiting. So if you're looking for a relaxing high end experience I'd totally recommend lavish nails. I moved from Pasadena to Glendora and let me Tell you there is such a nicer vibe in Glendora then Pasadena. Even if I didn't live near I'd definitely make a drive for them. Lavish is located in a very convenient parking lot not hard to find. I suggest calling before you try walking in. I am SO happy with my first service at Lavish Nails. I love the cute, intimate salon atmosphere. I got a gel manicure and was impressed by the huge selection of polishes. It was hard to choose a color! My manicurist and pedicurist took their time and gave amazing massages. I felt so relaxed the whole time. The polish was impeccably painted. Thank you so much! I just recently started coming to Lavish and am blown away by how friendly and accommodating they are! They have a great selection of colors for gel or dip powder and the owner Becky (who has done my manicure + pedicure each time I've gone) is so kind! Their schedule does book up rather quickly so I would call to book in advance or at least call prior to showing up to save yourself time. :) Can't wait to go back for my next appt! read more

I just found this nice place, I have been there 3 times now, and every time is a great experience very clean, friendly, specially the owner Becky such a nice lady very sweet and you can tell she cares about her customers, she is checking everyone nails to make sure they are looking good. That tells me a lot about her and her business. Yesterday I went to do my nails and hoping they can do nails designs because I can't never find a place that can do a great job in that area. I have been getting so many compliments about my Christmas nails. Love them! Very happy and yes I will recommend this nail salon! read more

This is now my go to nail place. I love how nice all the girls here are. I went here twice already and haven't had a bad experience. I feel like they are reasonably priced compared to others in the area. Plus it's super close to my house! And since I didn't want to ruin my perfectly done nails and had a hard time getting my credit card from my wallet, they accepted my Venmo payment. It made my life way easier. The place is hard to find. Next complex of Dialysis Center. Very tiny parking lot. It was a bit hard to get an appointment via Yelp Message so recommend to call them. Very skilled and good for gel nail. The previous nail salon did a horrible job on gel nail so visited this place. She was very quick yet done a beautiful job. They have a student discount for 10% off. Tips need to be cash. They take credit card, personal check, and cash. read more

Loved my experience. Customer service is great. Staff is respectful and manage time well. I showed up for my appointment and was started on time. Wide selection of colors. Kim made sure my color was opaque by adding another coat as needed- no need for me to convince. Following covid safety precautions and also general sanitary policies like plastic liners for pedicures. I would rather have good perfect nails with great service than great nails with okay service. I stumbled upon this little gem in Glendora a couple months ago. After reading several great yelp reviews I thought I'd check it out. Well the reviews were spot on! Becky is amazing! Another amazing appointment with Becky today. She is so talented and patient. I actually drive out here to see her and I live in Chino Hills. For the people leaving low reviews because they cannot be seen on walk-in or the same day, come on. You have to know as a walk in that you are not guaranteed to be able to be fit in. And not being able to be fit in same day in no way should equate to a one star review for anyone. You simply go somewhere else or you make an appointment for another day. I've been going to Becky for years and she does quality work and tries her best to fit in walk ins. read more

I wanted to wait until I've come here a couple times before writing a review for consistency. Everytime I come in Becky greets me so warmly and is so nice regardless if she is the one actually doing my nails! I haven't had a bad Mani/pedi here yet and I've had several different girls do my nails. I think this is mostly because they always ask me how I like my nails before, where alot of places just do it. The massage chair are great and the plus the massage by the technician always feels just as good! It's so hard to find a nail salon that has great customer service AND does a great job every time! I went in at 11 & was asked to come back around 2 so Becky the owner could do my nails, since she had appointments. It was so worth it. When I said goodbye to her in Vietnamese and let her know that I understood the conversation, it was clear she had not expected that. Except they actually don't have the extra long in stock, she was going to just apply the Long tip halfway down my nail bed. I declined and asked for the extra long tips I'm paying for. She then took out "xtra xtra long" and said $85 for these. So completely skipped over extra long and still charged me. Whatever , I agreed because benefit of the doubt. Once the foundation is laid, they ask me what designs I want. I showed them several pictures as inspiration and described what I would like, open to all suggestions and directions. They quoted me an additional $75 on top of the $85, and although I was completely shocked , I figured I was just out of my budget and needed to pick another design. Everything I suggested was $60+ on top of $85. Finally I asked ok what about French tip?! They said $25 extra. Okay, very expensive but I hope they look good. Keep in mind the entire time, only 1 person in the whole salon spoke English and whenever I would ask a question, my tech would yell for the English speaker very annoyed as if I was a problematic customer. I also got a full set gel x pedicure, and needed one nail repaired as it's growing back from falling off. When my tech was removing dead skin from the sides of my nail bed, she snipped my skin and cut me. In total for full set xtra long French tip and French tip gel x pedicure, I paid $190 not including tip. 3 days later, my repaired toe nail came off. Okay, maybe it was just too small of a nail. BUT THEN ON THE 4TH DAY, MY FINGERNAIL BREAKS IN HALF. $190 for basic nails, that break not even a full business week later. So disappointed, will never come back.

We were a walk in and thankfully we got seated right away, but even if we had to wait, the vibe is very comfortable and I enjoyed the show we were watching. We love the way our nails came out, and I also got a manicure to make sure my look was complete. My toenails weren't cleaned underneath after I asked about it and my tech wouldn't remove two small ingrown more like hangnail areas that other nail techs have helped with before. * Nail polish removal was very rough and uncomfortable. * The massage lasted less than a minute and the whole service felt rushed. There were only 3 people in the salon: my mom, myself and one other person and they seemed much more attentive to the other woman. * The salon didn't feel very clean. The walls were dirty, the baseboards were dusty, they had stuff duct taped on the chairs that were falling apart. The furniture and pillows were mismatched and the hallway to the restroom had a shredded curtain and wasn't well maintained in the back. Bathroom was pretty dirty too. * There were only three technicians working on a Saturday and the overall quality of service reflected that. *They did have AC which felt nice during this hot summer, but other than not much else going for this place. Unfortunately, despite the friendly staff the experience didn't meet our expectations and we won't be returning.

My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. And thanks again for the massage therapist recommendation. Rest and recovery, here I come!

If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!
