I so appreciated that this place was open on a Monday when many businesses in downtown Glendora are closed, as is custom. Desperate for a spa pedicure - it had been awhile - I was so happy that we were taken in without an appointment. The facilities were clean and we were well tended by the staff. I appreciated the variety of nail colors and that they stick with one brand - OPI. The spa pedicure was straightforward, soaking our feet, massage with salt scrub, and a well done pedicure which included the offer to slough off dead skin (I gamely partook!). We were not offered a menu of options... I'm not sure if this was because it was near the end of the evening or if things are straightforward - a spa pedicure is a spa pedicure. The window dressings were so cute and in Christmas theme with those fun mint green and pastel colors. One thing to note - they only take cash tip! She cut my nail so small. I called and complained after I left and they asked for photos. They took way longer than an hour, the acrylic job was horrendous, she was being super rough with my hand and acting almost impatient with me. My pedicure came out fine, but the girl that did my acrylics, it was almost as if she wasn't confident. I was in a rush to leave since she took so long, but the acrylic came out super uneven and crooked. I kept telling her I wanted a pointed Stilleto shape and she kept rounding it out. I also wanted just a clear polish, and she didn't clean my nails properly or clean up the underside of the acrylic so my nails just look super dirty. I should have checked her work before I tipped and left and didn't notice the work until after I got into the car. Horrible! I made an appointment about 5 days ago. I booked for a gel manicure with Cyndi (she came highly recommended) and a pedicure with anyone. I arrive at my scheduled time and let her know what I want. She then proceeded to tell me she cant do that in 45 mins that's all they booked me for. So then about 5 mins after I decided to cut down and do a basic gel manicure and she said she can't do that either. This is beyond upsetting as I set this appointment up with enough time to get my nails done. I booked this appointment on my Lunch and it's Mother's Day weekend to top it. I will not be coming back here and you should not either: they just waste your time and can give 2 shits about it. Save your time and money. read more

I phoned and asked if they could take 2 pedicures. I was told no problem. We got there had to wait, then got put onto the chairs. I had to ask if we could have more hot water because it was taking so long. I watched a gal come in who had an appointment and was still waiting 45 minutes, she had to leave. Even when I come in as a walk-in, they almost always find the time or space for me. Granted, I do try to come in on their least busy days. Ok.. So, I normally try to give places the benefit of the doubt, especially nail places on busy days. However, I came here on a not so busy Fridays. I made an appointment and asked for just a simple gel manicure. I walked in, immediately noticed a chaotic vibe. The lady that helped me seemed confused on what I wanted. The part that disturbed me the most was that she used the cuticle trimmer that she was using on me on HER nails, while she was still doing MY nails.. I have never seen this happen at any nail salon I've been at. She continued to work on her nails and then went back to mine. I was very grossed out, but on a time crunch so I just told her to stop cutting my cuticles and just move on. Her nails were also very dirty so that grossed me out. She did my nails very slow..... There are a lot of streaks in my nails but honestly, I was on a time crunch so I had to leave. There were also a few children of the workers crying and running around . I have children of my own, so I totally understand but a lot of us come there to get away from our children and not hear more crying . So I really needed a gel manicure for a photo shoot and a lot of my favorite places were booked. I found this one via yelp and it was close by so I decided to give it a try. I called first thing in the morning, and they book me an afternoon appointment. It was perfect because it gave me a couple hours to get ready for my photoshoot after. When I got there, they were extremely busy and they told me it'll be about a 15 minute wait... 45 minutes later, I am still waiting. Finally I am seen by somebody, but she was rushed because the lady in the back, who I am, assuming is the owner or manager, is telling everyone that they are behind and they need to hurry up. I had to leave because I was running low on time but as I was walking away, I noticed a lot of inconsistencies in my nails... the gel nail polish wasn't even and was on my skin. As you can see in the pictures, see the nail polish is already peeling from my skin and then it'll probably peel from the nail.. they were very unprofessional here, and I most likely will never come back again. If you can, I recommend trying different nail places in the area before coming here. The front desk person was very kind, so that's why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 star read more

Had a really good experience the first time but issues ever since. The technicians are nice and do a good job but there is no point in making an appointment. When you arrive for your scheduled time you'll notice they are taking walk-ins ahead of you and/or they will ask you to return in an hour or two. I did that once. I walked around and enjoyed the weather, but again when I returned they asked me to come back later. If you have all day to keep walking in and hoping for an opening, then yes this is a good shop for that. read more

I'm rating this salon a full 5 stars because my experience there the other day was flawless: My mom and I stopped by on a Saturday around 1:30. She wanted a pedicure, and I wanted acrylics. The place was pretty busy, but it appeared to be well-staffed. It was nicely decorated and looked (and smelled!) clean. They were able to set us an appointment for 2:45 for that same day, so we stopped for lunch at The Vault and came back. Now, I don't get my nails done very often but I knew that I wanted black french-tip acrylics. My biggest concern is length (because I work in an office at a computer most of the day and can't have anything impeding my typing speed!) and also shape. I can't tell you how many salons I've gone to that give me awkward looking shapes (square, oval, coffin) that just don't flatter my fingers. I've also been to more than enough places that leave me with thick, chunky acrylics, or ones that are shaped too largely and don't look even close to authentic. But here, all I had to do was sit down with Maya, show her a Google photo of black french-tip acrylics (coffin shaped), and let her know that I wanted them pretty short so that I could type. I didn't ask for anything else and she took over and the results....were....fire. She spent a solid hour on my nails while my mom got her pedicure. I didn't ask for gel, but that's what she brought out. Her technique and shape of the black french tip was gorgeous and a very sharp, defined curve. And she shaped my nails perfectly - they're short enough to type, but they're long enough to flatter my fingers (which are a little unladylike due to cracking my knuckles for years and years now). I will never go to another place for acrylics again. I will make sure to set all future appointments with Maya as well. The cost was $45 but it was so worth it because all she took over an she did a fantastic job. As a side note - the salon is pretty large. Maybe 15 pedicure chairs, and maybe 10 tables or so if I remember correctly. Lots of staff moving around. Several flat screen TVs up on the walls. Magazines everywhere. Nicely lit. Bright white ambiance. Just a very nice and simple salon. Clearly tailor-made for the Glendora community, but with no pomp or circumstance or "get in and get out!" vibe. So so pleased with this salon! I will be back. Quality of the nails is just gorgeous. read more

Staff was very friendly and was seated right away. Terry took me and did a fabulous job on my nails, she took her time and was very detailed. Gotta say, in the past few years, Divine Nails Spa & Beauty has really stepped up their game. They used to be nowhere near my favorite nail salon, but they're quickly rising to the top (there's a lot of nail salons in Glendora). The inside is really nice and clean. Since they did the addition and added the second side, it's gotten way better. The interior is actually nice, and makes it seem like it's better than just some random cheap nail salon. It actually looks pretty high quality. They have really nice, new spa chairs. Gotta say, they're pretty fancy too. The actual job they do on your nails is pretty good. I never have anything too fancy done, so I can't comment on that, but for the basics, they're pretty good. The staff is nice and friendly. I don't think I've had a bad experience with them since they've been under new management. It can be a little pricey, but then again, the prices of nails have gone up in the area, so that's not a huge drawback. read more
