Came in on a whim, and I am so happy that I did! The staff here is so nice and welcoming! I got a basic mani-pedi and was there about 45 minutes. Lisa gave me the best pedicure! I got callous removal and my feet and have never felt softer after this treatment than here! She took the time and care to get it done right! For the price I paid ($51 for mani-pedi-callous removal) I got way more bang for my buck! I look forward to coming back! read more

By far the worst treatment. Did not even make it to the chair. The lady in the back with Long black hair and glasses refused to help. I asked her how long the wait would be and she said "we don't have time". I said "you close at 7" Again "we don't have time, bye". Wow. I was floored. Do not go here!! The rudest people! Came in during Christmas break while visiting my parents and was told to leave because a patron got upset when we walked in and said that it was illegal to get my daughter's nails done!! She's almost 8 years old!! No joke!! They took this crazy lady's side! When I researched it right then and there, and showed them that was false, it is NOT illegal as long as they have a parent with them or written consent, they still didn't back down and let their patron yell at me. My poor 7 year old was in tears! We tried to have a fun holiday afternoon with grandma and it turned into a nightmare. I have NEVER been treated like that and I have 4 daughters who have been getting their nails done for the past 16 years all throughout CA and MANY other states. This place is seriously the worst!! Luckily we found a beautiful nail salon downtown that took us all right in and showered my little 7 year old with praises and gave her the most beautiful nail. Two times I came here felt rushed and didn't get a chance to relax first time I came never do I really get acrylic nails but I said they the heck and went here.. never again my skin was super glued to the acrylic and was a very poor design nothing like I wanted.. second time I came and decided to give them a second chance asked to remove my acrylic nails and just get gel again my skin had all kinds of paint on it and once again my skin was attached to my nails (it was gel...) so I asked politely can you please clean it up she took a deep breath and was immediately annoyed files my nails down and I just wanted the paint off.. my skin.. so I just said it ok, how much cause obviously I was asking for to much.... Three days later and my gel turned black.. BLACK... never again I'm coming here she threw her tools in my nails when I was soaking my acrylic off, acrylic shaving on my hair and face and almost got in my eyes.. I never experienced this in my life.. didn't even scrub or put lotion I really wish this placed got there stuff together cause I live down the street I recommend modern nails they seem to take there time and are more clean with there tools never had my nails read more

I used to really like going here. Van was my nail artist. As you can see from A Very Old Post, she is pretty good at different designs. But she worked extremely fast because she has many different clients. So if you're spending a lot of money on your nails like I usually do I want someone to take their time when they do my nails. Because although in this picture the nails are nicely designed, the actual work was not very clean. I remember being in a rush one day when van was not available and I asked the manager if someone else could do my nails, she basically told me it would be better if I could just wait for a day when van would be back because I was too particular about my nails. After that remark, I was done with them. If you want some relaxing time while getting your nails done and worked on properly I don't suggest you go here. read more

Horrible experience here. She used the same nail file on me and the person after me. When she brought it out to scrub it had nail polish already on it. When she was finished she rinsed it and put it back ready for the next client to use. I asked her if she reused them and she said no. Lie. We told them we're not paying cause they used nasty implements she said okay pay half I said no. When you pay for a service you pay then for there time and supplies. Why am I paying for you to use dirty supplies on my ? That's how infection spreads and law suits start. 10/10 do not recommend. read more

Leaving this place I did not feel pampered nor do I feel I got what I paid for. At modern nail I am able to get a salt scrub, rock massage and regular massage and here I barely got a massage. I always get my Mani and pedi done here!!! The prices are amazing, the ambiance is lovely, and the place is clean. For the most part the staff is great too. Some are more friendly and courteous than others. But overall I would recommend. I just recently got acrylic tips with a heart design for Valentine's day and I got a pedicure last night along with the cuticle remover. In total the Mani was $30 including the design and the pedi is normally $17 but it's an extra $6 for the cuticle removal which is worth it so that total was $23. And if you pay with your card you are charged $1 which is not unheard of. So my total this week was $54 (one time I payed cash the other with my card) and I always tip each person $5. So $64 isn't bad for the amazing Mani and pedi I got. I will be back. :) read more

I started coming back here to give them another chance and because it was so close to my house. I got a gel Manicure by Michelle and she did an amazing job! I let her know that with my work I'm consistently washing my hands and she did her best so they don't peel! My gel lasted almost 3 weeks! I highly recommend Michelle! This is not my regular nail place, but I decided to try it since it's in walking to my house. I totally felt like I was cheating on my regular girls though. In any case, it's a full service saloon of nails, waxing, and spa treatments. There's about 6 spa chairs and enough manicurist to cover them. I got a spa pedi ($16) and an eyebrow wax ($8). The spa pedi is actually cheaper than what I normally pay at my place. They did a good job on my cuticles and they polished my toes well...no signs of early polish decay, which is my pet peeve! They also have that ultra violet light that's like a table and you can sit there and let your nails dry completely before you go home. I hate smearing my pedi when it's new...such a hassle to get it re-done! The only downfall for me is that the ladies who go there are a lil snooty n la-ta-taddy...not cool. But, as long as I have my earphones so i can listen to Pandora on my phone and close my eyes...I'm GOOD!!!! read more

So I decided to try it out. I have been going for about four months now. Every three weeks a manicure and pedicure. Only once did I have a problem when I broke one of the nails (not their fault was doing physical labor) and the next day I had it repaired for no cost. read more

The first time she was quite rough she worked my cuticles over on my toes and cut my toenails too short and gave me ingrown toenails I still went back and gave them a second chance never again this time she did my fingers and cut all my cuticles and made them bleed they're so sore they hurt so bad she was using nippers to cut my nails instead of clippers I'm an ex hairdresser I know how to do it myself I just can't I'm on disability I will never return there it may be inexpensive but it's not worth being in pain and she truly cut my cuticles up really bad, I feel sorry that after all that experience they cant manage to cut your cuticles without making you bleed all over and then be so sore and have to suffer after having such a nice experience it wasn't that nice the chair was comfortable everything else was very painful wasn't worth the money or the experience and I hate to give bad reviews! read more
