I've been to this nail shop 3 times for gel manicures and eyebrow service. Jennifer has been my nail tech for all the services. I really like this salon, everything is very clean, the staff is very nice and pay attention to detail. On my first visit, I was given a free gift, so thoughtful. For my nails, I get gel manicures, Jennifer is great at giving suggestions when I have questions, she is a perfectionist and will not finish until she feels she has given you what you want. Jennifer has also done my eyebrow service, she understands that I can't use the wax cause I breakout, she's very accommodating and plucks my eyebrows. Does a great job every time!! They also have hair spa services, I'm trying that this Friday, looking forward to this, hopefully, relaxing service. Will post a review after the hair spa services. It was the day after a fall storm; the kind of weather where you hunker down and be cozy, but my toes said otherwise. I was overdue for a pedicure. This is my second visit here...and yet again, I was not at all disappointed. The outside of this nail salon looks like any other you'd find in a strip mall, but when you walk inside you'll be met with clean, quaint, modernity (and an eyelash extensions bar in the same building). This nail spa provides extensive variety of nail polish colors and brands (i.e. OPI, Essie, and more). The nail polishes are presented by color gradient in a spinning acrylic display case. Alongside the display you can find a cutely arranged cart that carries the nail polish samples. The menus of services is pretty extensive and ranges from the low $30 to $60 range - but you get what you pay for and are not rushed through for the next customer. I appreciated how the nail technician removed and extracted dead skin - gross, I know. But I share to give you an idea of how detail oriented the tech was. The massage chairs are on the newer side and had some features that provided attention to some unexpected areas of my lower half (*clutch your pearls here*) LOL!! That said, you can make adjustments using the built in controller. The ambiance was REALLY relaxing for a Sunday. It wasn't over-crowded or loud. They have two large TVs playing shows. Opposite the pedicure chairs is bar seating for acrylic nail service that seats about 7 people. My foot massage was AWESOME! The nail tech (Hannah) got between my foot tendons - yet another unexpected area given "attention." I felt super relaxed and could feel the stress (that apparently was in my feel) melt away. This place is so EXPENSIVE. I for just a classic blue French tip very short and it was 83 dollars. This is not expectable. The guy who did my nails was nice but he put on my nails three times crooked then he took them all off and restarted and they're still lifting up. I got them done yesterday for the prep. He didn't really clean inside of my nails, so you could still see the dirt inside my nails through the acrylics. He didn't do them with the length. I wanted them and got nail polish all over my cuticles. I'm just a little kid and I wanted a good price and I feel like I got ripped off $81 for regular acrylics is crazy. It's not acceptable for me. The people were nice. They didn't really talk a lot but they did kind of find my cuticles too hard in the nail tip is on crooked multiple times. I don't recommend going here. I know places for like way better prices, and for nails this short should not be $83. It makes me so mad to write this but it is true. I watched Another girl next to me get good treatment done and then I got poor treatment from the man who is doing my nails . I spent my hard earned money on this and didn't even come out good. Today, the quality of the work remained great, but the pricing left much to be desired. I asked about the prices before we checked out, but the responses were unclear. My gel manicure ($38) and Bella pedicure ($45) should have totaled $83, but I was charged $92. Similarly, my fiancé had a regular manicure ($21), Bella pedicure ($45), and buffing on hands and toes ($14 each), which should have been $80, but was charged $102. Our total should have been $163, not the $194 we were billed. When I inquired about the discrepancy, I was told the prices had changed, yet the online prices matched the menu they provided. Additionally, the Bella pedicure includes a 10-minute hot stone leg and foot massage, which neither of us received. I called back to speak to the manager, and she reiterated that the prices had changed but couldn't tell me the new prices. She claimed they were on the menu, which listed the prices I was originally quoted. There are hundreds of nail places in Glendora with prices like those posted online. While the quality of work is excellent, the lack of pricing transparency and incomplete services make me hesitant to return. read more

Chairs are comfy and they are accommodable by offering water and doing their best to make you feel good and comfortable. Their prices are quite expensive, but they are also in a high-priced area. I paid over $150 for myself, and another person and we only had manicures and pedicures with no extra perks. This is a good big location offering multiple services including a massage area. I am still typically annoyed at places where it's hard to understand when they speak another language right in front of you and gives an uneasy feeling that they are speaking of you and for that, this is my main reason for giving them two stars. read more

My daughter has been going to this establishment for years. It was a granddaughter/Nana day. I brought my granddaughter while she was visiting from Washington. I rarely see her, and what a blessing to be able to treat her with an experience. Due to her age and nail biting issues, they recommended tips. She gave them a photo of the style and color she wanted. Though it took a couple of hours, she was extremely pleased with the outcome. The salon was clean and well lit. My pedicure was wonderful. My gel manicure was subpar beyond subpar so much 1.5 weeks-2 weeks later I keep experiencing nail breakage of my natural nails. It's the gift that keeps on gifting and they've all but broken off now and I can't get another gel mani and risk another harsh buff. I told them pls don't over buff or use a harsh coarse abrasive file on the drimmel to overly buff my nails as soon as I saw the device bc they will thin but that was not taken into account or understood. She didn't clip my cuticles carefully or at all before the gel polish, she ran the pointy drimmel over my cuticles briefly. This can be done but it needs to be done with extreme precision to replace the hand cuticle cutting. The gel was painted up to the uncut cuticle and of course when they grew it out was like a little "ledge" that grabbed hairs and other things and began to lift. (Also bc there was cuticle left it would loosen from water as well) I don't like leaving negative reviews but this was probably the worst possible manicure I've gotten since a lady in dallas painted my gel over every single one of my cuticles bc she had terrible vision . I went back and she did the same job I gave up. She wasn't able to physically do the meticulous job I wanted. And I accepted that. I am scared for modern nail to fix bc my nails have to fully grow out to be strong again for someone new to redo. I just had to say something. I highly recommend Lee nails. I was leaving town for work and Lee's wasn't available so I gave these guys a try. read more

I went here Sun. 8-13-23 at around 5pm because the place in Azusa I normally go to closed early. I waited for quite a while to be seated because pedicures were a priority. I was getting an acrylic fill & one nail had broken off. When she was trimming them, she decided to take two other nails off too because they were loose. There were 3 total nails replaced, but when the lady billed me, she said that there were 5 nails that had to be replaced. A fill is supposed to include free gel for $41 the website states. A Full Set costs $56. She charged me $68 for the services. $65 for the acrylic nail fill & $3 service charge for using cash & credit card. I asked her why it costs so much & she said because some nails had broke. That still wouldn't make any sense because a full set costs $56. And I didn't even get a full set. It should have been $41 + 3 broke nails @ $5/each I'm guessing. I had just come back from vacation, so I didn't have time to get my nails done when I was gone. That total also should have been of $56. There were no reasons why she charged $68. She glued the nails on me & left so she could go do another customer's eyebrows. I chose from the color nail polish designs with the dark base coat. It was # 893 & it looked to have light purple & pink stars mixed together. As you can see from the photos, there are no stars unfortunately & no hint of sparkle of purple and pink. Even in the outside sun, it couldn't be seen. Why do the employees at this store ask us to choose a color polish, but the display colors are incorrect? I'm disappointed that it's not at all what I anticipated. All she did was paint black nail polish on my nails & then some clear glitter nail polish. I wanted color! I wasn't going to have her start over because it was almost already 2 hours that I had been there & I was falling asleep. So if you go here, don't expect the color to be as you picked & expect them to charge you excessively over the amount in their website. read more

I decided not to get gel-x and wanted to go for acrylic. On their website their acrylic is listed for $55. I thought this was reasonable pricing so we decided to go ahead and book. When I got there everyone was nice and it was early in the morning so wasn't crowded. I asked for the "hailey bieber" nails, so with that includes almond nail shape, pearl dust & a sheer white base. The gel is already included in the $55, as stated on the website. I also was aware that the pearl dust was an additional $15. However the problem was they charged me an additional $21 for the shape and "length" mind u, usually places charge at most $10 for shape & length. SO I ENDED UP PAYING $91. The nails were not long at all. My family friend ended up paying $66 for gel-x and i paid for ACRYLICS $91. If you know anything about gel-x , gel-x usually goes for $80 starting and acrylics is always cheaper because they use harsher chemicals, so why was mine more expensive and why did they UPCHARGE ME an extra $21?? I asked the lady working why it was so expensive and she seemed like she was unsure of why it was even that expensive. They are doing themselves a disservice by lying on the website and not stating that there is a $21 charge for shape and length. I tried to call and talk to the owner and they said she's "out of town" . RIDICULOUS. I never leave bad reviews but this one was too absurd not to talk about. read more

if I could give this place a zero stars, I would. unfortunately our experience was horrible we went on a Thursday evening to have. set some gel overlay done and two pedicures. we recorded a price over the phone I do understand that that could vary and it could change due to the fact that they're not looking at our hands and don't know exactly what they're working with. yet once we were there. the manager kept changing the price she basically ended up from $80 to $90 to $120 it got to the point where my daughter just got up and refused any more service and allow them to finish her pedicure because they had already started it. since I was more into my procedures, I allowed them to complete them only to have to go back the following day because my fingers looked like Frankenstein had done my hands. there was no overly done to my nails they were filed down too short. The Polish was just put right over the existing nails that I had, so it looked like if I didn't even have a fill. the technician at the time was insistent that I do acrylic nails and I told her I didn't want that but yet she still went ahead and did the procedure as if I had acrylic nails just polishing over the over outgrown nails that I already had existing. after very long conversation with the manager and listening to all her excuses on why my daughter's pedicure was messed up she literally sat there for 45 minutes waiting for me to finish and letting it dry wearing the sandals that they had given her and all the excuses on why my nails were so bad they made absolutely no sense and took no accountability said each technician does a different procedure and this is the reason why they look the way they look the nails look like they were done by someone that had no experience she claimed to me that they've been in business for 10 years and my response to her was I don't know how. attached you will find the photos of my daughter's pedicure of my nails how bad they were on the first visit and they don't look much better well okay they look a little better on the second visit but definitely not a place I will be returning back to you. I have to be really honest. I got European facial for an hour, it was fabulous and relaxed. She did clean all my blackhead on my nose and chin. Haven't been here in years. I see they've expanded. The woman that did my pedicure was trying we get through this as fast as possible! What happened to a real lotion massage? She rushed through, didn't even rub my feet, just tried to get the lotion rubbed in to start nail color. As she's rubbing the lotion, she's also trying to take the plastic out of the foot tub. She actually stopped the so called massage to do this. What was her rush? She also never turned on the jets in the foot tub. I had to tell her 3 times that's I wanted my nails short! I love this place. I used to live in Covina and come here all the time. I am in the wheelchair due to a car accident and I can't get off to transfer into the spa chair but these ladies go above and beyond to help me so I can be able to get my pedicure and manicure. There was a lot of places where I got turned away. It's very upsetting and disappointing that a lot of these places are not accessible for people with wheelchairs which I think they should have because there's a lot of people who can't get up from a wheelchair. This place doesn't do that. After being turned away from a different nail salon down the street I came here. they were very welcoming. I was able to get eyelash extensions, pedicure, manicure and waxing here. I now live in Victorville and will drive all the way down the hill to go to this place because it's worth it.
