I usually don't write reviews, but the customer service Jennifer showed me today truly deserves one. I was a walk-in on Halloween noon, hoping to get a last-minute set of medium-length GelX nails, and she went above and beyond. Jennifer was so attentive and patient with me, and I really appreciated that, especially since I'm super particular about how I like my nails. She took her time to make sure everything was perfect and made me feel completely comfortable the whole time. My design was more on the complex side, so it did take about 2 hours to complete. But I could tell Jennifer really takes pride in her work and her customers. When she found out I hadn't eaten yet, she was kind enough to offer me some of her home-cooked Vietnamese food. This lady is too sweet! I spontaneously walked in to this nail shop on the day of Halloween, and was able to get seen almost right away. Jennifer's work is definitely worth me coming here again. Called and made an appointment for soak off nails manicure and pedicure for 2 people at 530pm which they stated no problem. Showed up and no one was ready to take us. We waited until 6pm before they started on us. She finishes with my toes and then told me to wait for "the lady " to do the soak off and my manicure. 7:3pm came along and they told me to come back tomorrow. As much and I wanted to loose my marbles o simply told them that was very unprofessional of them and they should have been honest from the start so I could go get my nails done else where and it be complete. I left with just my toes done. I broken mail that needed to be soaked off and now it's to late to go else where. So unprofessional. Cleanliness is awful. Quality of nail painting is 2 out of 10 very bumpy and out of nail bed. read more

I wanted to give this place a second chance since it is super close. Second time around and I WONT BE BACK. My total was $37 for a regular pedicure with gel polish. The pedicure was $22 and they charge $10 for gel polish, it was also an extra $2 to pay with card credit or debit. Unsure how the total came to be $37. It took one hour for a basic, messy job! Mind you, I was the only person there for a pedicure when I arrived. As you can see my toes look like a hot mess! There was no clean-up around the edges. Plus the lady did not trim the sides of my nails or push back any cuticle when cleaning them. Also, their tools are NOT CLEAN. She pulled out the tools from a box that said "clean" but used them and put them right back in her box. read more

The 3 reasons I gave this salon a try was bc: 1, my reg manicurist was completely booked; 2, They had the #1 rating on yelp; 3, I called to speak with the nail tech specifically about a particular pedicure service that I needed and she guaranteed that she could get it done! Lies, lazy and completely worthless old lady! I kept telling her that she still needed to fix, she kept saying yes, yes, ok, ok, but then wouldn't finish correcting issue completely!!! wtffff }:( How many damn times do you need to tell a person to do their job correctly?! Shouldn't be even once, right??!! I had my suspicions about this place when I walked in and saw that it was nearly empty for what sb a very busy Saturday morning, and I was able to come in right away without an appointment!! Trust your instincts people! They honestly think that customers will be pleased with their below average work, pay a pretty penny and feel sure that they'll return for repeat service and refer friends and family?! Found this place thru yelp. Pauline did my nails. I came in for fills and to fix a broken nail. She did a great job. She paid extreme attention to details. She followed my requests without attitude. She was friendly and not rough. I enjoyed a spa pedicure. The massage chairs are amazing. I'm tall so most places are uncomfortable, but this chair was different. I can't remember the name of the person who did my feet, but she did a good job as well. It came out to $40 for spa pedicure with callus remover, fills, French tip and fixed one broken nail. Not bad. I've been coming to The Nail Spa for 16 years now and I'm NEVER disappointed! It's the cleanest nail shop in the area! They sterilize all their implements and use everything new (files, pumice, etc...) on every client. They also have a huge selection in colors for gel and dip. They're constantly remolding and maintaining the place looking clean, fresh, and modern. There's no doubt the owner cares for her small business, work team, and clients. I brought my little cousin to get a mani pedi ...she is 10. Cindy tells me she will be full price. Okay cool. Then she has the audacity to offer her flowers and turns to me and tells me its more money. How inappropriate. She is a little girl and if you are going to offer and change you should ask the person paying first. Then my nail lady takes an electric nail file to my nails removing gel. Gel is soak off and using an electric file shoukd never be done. She ruined my nails. So disappointing,and I was still charged 50! If you want mediocre work that is rushed and overpriced, this is the place! Also update Pauline is unprofessional voting disappointed customers reviews as funny. I like this place because its close to my house. I like Tammy who does my pedicure. I love her service and her work. Ever since I moved here and found this place Tammy always done a great job. I love that she doesnt rush it even how busy they are. Of all the nail tech here, Tammy is the best for my pedicure... Tiffany she does my nails. I love her service too when she is not rushing. One time she did my nails, when i had come early noon time. I realize her best service and job done nicely when she is not rushing do to my nails. Cuticles trims , nail size desired, and gel color were perfectly done. I was so happy and amazed...So why can't it be done the same all the time? I pay for a good service and give good tip when I know they do a great job. I always thought it would be the same when you come back. You stay loyal to them, but you dont feel the same loyal service when you return for how many times, its a hit or missed. Otherwise, when you think you're just gonna rush someone when they paying a good service and tips. I suggest just turn your customer away. I do understand when its busy. Rather than, yes will take you in. And will rush it and do a crappy job. Honey, I want to continue doing business with ya'll. But I cant help being cheated. One star for the disposable tub covers. One star for completing their job. The missing 3 stars each for price and mutilated cuticles (there were 4 but 2 shown in photo). I contemplated on writing a less than stellar review, however, let me tell you a story where I had a moral dilemma. At the time of the incident I didn't know if I did the right thing, but many years later, it made a lot of sense that I actually spoke out. A man 50 years my senior gave me a tickling handshake, you know the ones that made you feel uncomfortable, when I shook his hand after I sang a Christmas carol for the local fire station thanking all the respectable guests for attending....my last manicure at this place gave me the same dilemma: the uncomfortableness, don't know if I should report it-ness. It might have been the manicurist's careless mistake, but after having a small dispute on charging me the full up charge for gel manicure take off (my fault for going to multiple nail shops, but I've never experienced the up charge for taking off 3 toes only for gel polish, I got gel nails after too), I was convinced by them to stay when they say they'd "take care of me" while still charged me the up charge. I stayed. But then, there were some unusual pulling on my cuticles and things stunned when the polish was applied. Up until this morning, I still gave her the benefit of the doubt. But, after getting in to work to look at cuticles under the fluorescent light, I realized that I have to give this info to all yelpers who are considering coming to this place. I mean, I don't have an infection yet because I have been applying antiseptic cream over each finger, but what if I do get infected from this incident? What if it's someone else? I think people deserve to know. ...As for the older man many years ago, at the end of the meet and greet, I went up to him and told him off of my uncomfortableness and have not regretted since. Came here because my boyfriend and I had just finished a 10mile hike and were in need of a relaxing pedicure. We are from out of town so I quickly found the nearest salon without reading many reviews. Be warned... First impression: The place isn't sanitary. The mirrors have dust on them from mid century and the floor may have never seen a mop. But, we were tired so decided to try it any way. My "ultimate spa pedicure" ($18) was a super quick 10 min pedi with a decent smelling scrub. Usually a spa pedicure comes with hot towel wrap and massage, but all she did was rub my legs up and down, didn't even massage my actual foot. If I just wanted my toes painted I would have asked for a regular pedicure. 2 stars for friendly staff and low-prices (but you get what you pay for) read more

My last visit here was horrible but expected . I should have known better . I've been coming to this place on and off for about 12 years . I'm very anal and OCD about my nails as anyone should be as THEY ARE PAYING for them . I loved the guy manicurist here .If you know, you know . I come here for months and years at a time sometimes but it usually comes to an end because I've been spoken to rudely or demeaningly . My mother has had the same problem here as well and it's with their male manicurist . I stopped coming here about 6 yrs ago because of his attitude and went across the street to QT nails , smaller place, better prices BUT nice people . Their manis and pedis are great too. They weren't meeting my standards as far as full sets and despite his attitude I knew the guy across the street would . Everything was ok this time he didn't really talk to me and that was fine . I returned to him to get my fills and my nails came off for awhile (few months ) went back for the stiletto shape , 2 color acrylic powder French manicure I got with him the last time. I ALWAYS go to him because of his precision. This time there was none the line that separated the two colors was all wiggly not straight on almost every nail and when I pointed it out he didn't seem to care they were nothing like they were the first time and when I told him he seemed offended and he told me he could fix them , I didn't know how and as I was on my phone he began cutting the nails off the other hand and said I didn't have to pay for them. Why would cutting my nails off be a reasonable solution? The 2 color acrylic is already a longer process than regular acrylic or nail art and I needed to get to work. I was working 7 days a week at the time with 3 to 4 doubles a week . THIS WAS THE ONLY TIME I HAD TO GET MY NAILS DONE and it had been months and I needed to get to work . I feel this man is good and he knows it and feels it should go unnoticed when he slacks or messes up and does not take constructive criticism well and doesn't care if his customers like their nails or not . We could have came to a solution together or he could have simply painted over them. This was the only time I had to get my nails done before a wedding that weekend and the manicurist was 100% inconsiderate of my time or opinion.I do nails on the side of my full time and only go to salons when I'm too lazy to do my own . I would never in my life come back to this place, nor would I support a business who felt it was ok for their staff to treat customers this way and it's been on going with this man for years. Check out other Local nail places or independent manicurists who appreciate your business. Because the people here seem entitled to it. read more

I came today to get a white tip full set and get my eyebrows waxed. I came in around 12:30 and was seated right away. There was a miss communication between me and the First Lady doing my nails. She was very nice about it and got May to finish my nails. May was excellent! She took her time to make sure they were perfect. She was gentle with my nails. She also waxed my Eyebrows and took her time to fix them up because they were very bad lol Price is decent not to pricey. I am definitely coming back and asking for May! read more

Ok I thought to myself because I always go to CoCo Nails to get my nails done and I go to this location only for my eyelashes with Lynn. I was extremely displeased with my nails. Manicure was amazing! The problem is I had to teach them how to specifically do the designs and what exactly to use also the design was done incorrectly with instruction and the Rhinestones are always falling off. I was also trying to explain I wanted gel powder due to taking acrylics off my natural nails and they were then. They put a clear gel coat then dip my nails into just the powder to give strength. As you can see from one finger they tried to not put the right glitter and cleaned it up awful! Also they still charged me 32 dollars for everything I was pissed but they did not understand what I was saying! They should have said they could not have done the designs because Pauline was not there at that time. I would of been completely happy with that and would have skipped the designs! They're always charging different prices and are never consistent with my lashes but Lynn does an ABSOLUTELY amazing job it's not her fault it's the ones in charge. They need more consistency depending on how much you need done when filing eyelashes which mine are always MINIMAL because she does a great job. First was 35... then 20 when she wanted to charge me 10... then 10... when she wanted to actually charge me 5 because of how little I needed. I've never received service like this in all my 29 years.
