Prices are reasonable but you get what you pay for. Kevin did a good job the first time I went to get a full set. He accommodated the nail style and all was good but the next couple visits were unpleasant. He didn't give me the same treatment. During my last visit, he was rude and hurt me a few times doing my nails. His wife wouldn't try to find a similar polish color I was looking for. When I took off my acrylic nails just 2 months of having them, I noticed brownish spots on my nails. It was due to the acrylic nails lifting and water getting trapped. I have never experienced that since I've been getting my nails done at the age of 16. read more

I called the owner back after getting my nails done two weeks ago on December 5, 2024 and ask them to make the dip thicker so my nails don't chip and he said he doesn't make the nails thick with the dip mixture. I do not recommend this business at all. The last person that did my nails lasted five weeks with the dip mixture, but she would cut my fingers up with the electric sander, and my fingers would be very painful the next few days. read more

The prices at this salon are definitely reasonable, but overall you get what you pay for. When getting a basic pedicure I was shocked to learn that the tub chairs were not sanitized, the nail instruments were reused from the person next to me and not sanitized, and lastly when leaving all that was done to the foot soak was that it was rinsed out and the next person slid right into the same place I just had a pedicure without any proper washing or sanitation! There are signs posted within stating they do not refund or return, now I know why. Do not take your business here if you care for your safety. read more

But I noticed when I got home my feet are super dry and kinda rough still.. it's weird because she had used a scrubber on me and then a lotion of some sort afterward but they aren't as hydrated as I think they should be. (They actually work with dip powder) The man I was greeted by did such a good job - I'm an x-nail bitter who has been working on my nail care for a while now and also pregnant about to give birth this month so I wanted something cute that can still show through to my natural nail at the hospital for any given reason ... he did exactly what I wanted, gentle with my nails and was polite the entire time. I've been going to different nail spots (after my original spot gave me an ingrown) in search of somewhere that will care for my nails along my journey and KC Lovely Nails really stands out to me. I've been going here for 5 years now. They are very nice, and the salon is very sanitary. My only issue is that after 4 years they started to charge for my Matte topcoat AND my Almond shaped nails. ($3 & $3) This is added to my upcharge for doing gel polish ($5) A basic set with gel is now almost $50?? I got a GEL mani/pedi 1 week ago and my finger nails chipped the 3rd day. I think they have stopped buying fresh polish :-( They owners are SO kind, I hate to go elsewhere... but being nickel and dimed is no fun. read more

I called in to check for walk in availability for gel removal on a Saturday 11:00AM. They were available so I went in. Anita helped me and I was set within 20minutes. I've never gotten gel professionally removed so it was an average A OK. I think she grinded off the most she could and sanded down the rest. You can see the grinders marks where got my nail and some areas where clear coat gel was remaining, but I'm guessing it's relatively normal for gel removal. Cost for gel removal: $7.50, no minimum for credit card. That's higher than I've seen at other locations, but seemed worth it - gel removal seems like a pain. I saw the staff sanitizing their tools, so that's a plus. Their customers all seemed to be regulars so good rapports. Overall, I'd come back to do a full service. read more

Super impressed with this place. I wouldn't have thought twice on coming here based on the location, but thanks to yelp, I'm definitely coming back for my nail needs. I got a gel mani (FYI: number 5 for the nude color) I let the nail tech have some creative freedom and this is what she came up with. LOVE IT. I can't recall her name, but she sat in the main mani tech station. Kevin is a rockstar! I did the deluxe spa pedi and my feet look and feel brand new. I'm so glad that no one sat next to me bc it was... not pretty. But yay for no more dead skin and calluses! It was $30 for mani and $30 for the pedi. I kept coughing the dust and smell it gave me a headache I have been to many nail salons it's not like that. I am new to the area and I was looking for someone that can do good sns my nails looked good but she did the sns like they do acrylic she removed it by filing it. Sns was not fully removed she started adding the new powder. She did not remove my nails by wrapping it with foil. In not new to sns I've been getting sns for years my natural nails became so thin. This was my first time trying ombre nails and I was a little skeptical about them (because I stick to the basic), but they turned out beautifully! I loved them. My daughter also got a regular manicure and pedicure.
