This review is very long awaited. I had initially booked my ombre brow appointment with Andrea around two years ago but I had to reschedule because I found out I was pregnant. Once I was ready I rebooked and she honored my initial deposit (I also kept in touch and kept her updated)! When anyone messes with your face you are giving them all your trust. Andrea walked me through each phase, step by step so I knew what to expect. I'm not going to lie, the initial session you feel alot of emotions surrounding the potential outcome of what your brows may be, however, you need to trust the process. I freaked out about 34x, but always reached out to Andrea with any questions or concerns and she always made me feel better. Again, trust the process and listen to the directions. It's all worth it in the end. A few tips: - Be patient throughtout the process and follow the directions to the T (no scab picking, use the moisturizer, no hot showers, no sweating) - Use a travel pillow to sleep at night so you don't move. It helps! - Communicate your wants and needs to Andrea during phase one and phase two in order to achieve your preferred look. Always remember you can always go darker but not lighter. This was the best decision I have ever made. I recently went on a trip and was able to wake up and walk out without everyone seeing me and my tiny eyebrows. This review is so overdue, but my friend just asked me who I went to and I remembered that I said I'd leave a review so here we are. I went to Andrea last year in May (2020!) and it was literally the best thing I ever did for my eyebrows! I was apprehensive because of pain and other people's horror stories but decided to at least message her anyway. The scheduling was simple and efficiently done which honestly made the whole process a lot less scary for me. It took two sessions (the initial and a touch up a month afterwards). For the initial appointment I filled out forms and she measured it out. She talked to me every step of the way and I was able to triple check to make sure it was the shape I wanted. I got a little antsy while laying down for so long, but she was totally understanding and let me take a little stretch break. Andrea was being truthful when she said in one of her funny IG videos, that she does her best. My lips are not completely healed from blushing/liner and I still need a second session but I do like the color and shape as they look now, she got those right. You can tell she's very focused on what she's doing, makes sensible suggestions, asks questions to make sure you get what you want. No self righteous know-it-all attitude. The healing time was incredibly faster than the first time I had this done at another salon and the swelling almost went away the next day. She represents her business well in that she has some makeup (tattoo ?) on, which leads you to feel she knows what you mean. My mother always tells me that your eyebrows are the focal point of your face. I had no clue those words would be so true until after I got my eyebrows done with Andrea. The idea of tattoos on my face scared me considering my idea of doing my eyebrows was just coloring over the existing hair. Never tried to shape or style them in any way. My mom had hers fixed by Andrea and they were amazing! So amazing, in fact, I wanted to go get them done. The studio is so cute and clean. Andrea is so awesome and talks to you about the whole process from start to finish. Then, she sat me on the table and started measuring and drawing and really giving me a nice shape. Once I was happy with the shape, it was onto the scary part...the tattooing. What needle?!?! Andrea was very gentle. We were talking through the whole thing. She is super nice and we were laughing and having a good time. When I got done, I felt like a whole different person. I had dimension, I had a pop of personality, I had life!!! I didn't understand why eyebrows are so important until I got them done . I got them done with the best in the business! Aftercare was a BREEZE! Just like most people on here, I'd give Andrea 10 stars if I could. I have never felt more confident with my bare face in my whole life! Andrea is warm, friendly, meticulous and almost Jedi like in what she accomplished. She's obviously very well trained and probably a natural at understanding people's faces. I have always wanted to for years get my eyebrows done but have been scared of is it going to be painful, is it going to leave a scar, what if I didn't like it?! My make up artist that I hired for my wedding recommended Aesthetic Ink to me as she had just recently gotten her brows done by her. And boy am I glad that I did check her out!!
