You will have to tell them your order 3 to 4 times before they can take your money and then when they bring you their food they will ask you what you ordered again! We were actually headed to a different place for brunch when we made a last minute decision to go to Alpaca instead. I got the 1/2 chicken with beans & rice, sweet plantains and fried yuca. I am EXTREMELY dissatisfied with the recent changes to the serving size at Alpaca. For years, I've regularly visited Alpaca Chicken multiple times a week for their daily specials. However, on my most recent visit, I ordered the Arroz Chaufa (Peruvian style fried rice) for my husband and I and it is now being served in a carry out container that is LESS THAN HALF the size of the former container for the SAME EXACT PRICE. By all means, I completely understand inflation and the need to cut expenses when necessary however, to reduce the serving size by this much and charge the same amount is highway robbery! (See photos below). Mind you, I ordered two of the exact same meals and it was $30. Absolutely not! And honestly, I would have rather paid more for what was previously being served than be insulted with half the amount of food for the same amount. As long as this continues, I will no longer spend my money at this establishment! I expect better service than this Alpaca!!! We really enjoyed the food it was delicious! My issue was the atmosphere, it's really loud inside and perhaps it was the time of day we were there, we've been twice, but the sun glares inside & you need to be very careful where you sit!
