I went here with my partner and her family for lunch. We were greeted by a long line which fortunately moved pretty quickly. The owner walked outside and handed people menus so that they could prepare in advance to speed up the line. I ordered the Avocado Omelette and upgraded my side to 2 pancakes for an additional dollar. Both the omelette and pancakes were fairly large servings which I appreciated a lot. The omelette was flavorful and the pancakes were delicious! I really liked the food and would love to try even more items on their menu. We were originally seated outside in their patio, but the owner waved us over and brought us to a table inside the restaurant instead. Food came out relatively quickly for everyone given our large party. The waiters were constantly checking in with us and refilling our water. The parking lot outside can be a bit packed depending on the time of day. Overall, would definitely come back and try out some other items!

Dined in for breakfast on 5/2 around 10:00 am. It was super busy after we left. You have to come early! If we had to wait, it is worth it! Parking: Plenty since there's a parking lot. How to order: You order at the front and they will bring the food to your table Food: - loco moco with hamburger - 4.5/5, perfect blend with the rice, meat and sauce. The sauce wasn't too salty and it mixed well with the rice. It will fill you up. - spanish latte - 4/5, delicious! This was tasty and worth getting. Overall, we would come back again! There's so many other dishes we want to try! I heard the ube pancakes were bomb!

Aloha Stacks Five stars for Aloha Stacks in Whittier. I ordered the Ube coconut pancakes and the musubi spam and everything was amazing. The spam musubi was seriously so good--savory, rich, and coated in a really tasty sauce (kind of like teriyaki or a sweet glaze). Super flavorful and honestly addictive. The Ube coconut pancakes were just as impressive. Soft, warm, and topped with toasted coconut flakes, ube sauce, syrup, and a light cream that tied everything together perfectly. I got it to go, but the food still came out hot and fresh. Service was fast and efficient, and the restaurant itself looked really cute with big glass windows and a bright, relaxed vibe. Perfect spot for a quick, delicious meal.

Be prepared for a wait! This place gets BUSY! Line out the door and around the building busy. Came with a friend around 10am on a Friday morning, parking was full but the line was short when we joined, it got longer as time went on. Line moves pretty fast though. Restaurant was well kept and clean despite all the busyness which was nice. I ordered a breakfast egg burrito with bacon as my protein, I saw in pictures it came with a side of tortilla chips and salsa but since I am not a salsa person and saw the burrito came with no sauce I subbed it for spicy mayo. 9/10 good burrito wasn't dry even without the sauce but the spicy mayo did add flavor. Weird sides to go with a breakfast burrito, will try to sub for fruit maybe next time. Friend ordered the Katsu Curry and an Iced Mocha, she said it tasted great! Would be happy to come back to try other foods since I love Hawaiian food.

Delicious lattes, burritos, and pancakes. The Breakfast Egg Burrito with Kalua Pork was a standout, would order it again; the pork was tender and cooked perfectly. The hot salsa on the side was perfect. After we placed our order at the walk-up counter, table service delivering our food was fast. Would return for brunch! Recommended Hawaiian brunch spot!

The food and the atmosphere at Stacks are amazing! What's not to like about a restaurant that offers delicious, fresh, and mouth-watering dishes? Prices are fair, and the portion sizes are good. Service is GREAT!! Each employee my family and I encountered was friendly, engaging, and helpful. Indoor and outdoor seating in the coveted patio is available. Parking is available on the street or in the private parking lot.

We tried this restaurant for the first time and really enjoyed the food. You order in front then find an open table. It was crowded at noon on a Saturday. However, I found a shared table with barstools in the covered patio. It was warm outside, so they had a fan that helped a little. They have a big menu with customizable options. For example, you can order a loco moco with meats other than a hamburger patty. I got a loco moco with chicken katsu ($15) and fried rice ($3). We also shared the trio waffle ($16.50), which came with strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and toffee sauce. Water pitchers can be provided to you after ordering. The loco moco was delicious. I really liked the flavor from both the katsu and the gravy. I asked for over-medium eggs, so they were slightly runny. For next time, I believe I'd enjoy my eggs cooked a little longer than over-medium here. The fried rice comes at an additional charge, and I enjoyed how its savory flavor blended well with everything else. When I come back, I'd highly consider trying their chicken katsu curry. We had the trio waffle as a dessert, and it was so tasty. The toffee sauce on the side gave the waffle a pleasant sweetness that went well with the sliced fruits. Our whole meals were very filling as we split the waffle in half and got our own entrees. Overall, this is a solid and enjoyable brunch restaurant.

Food today 3/5! Service 4/5 Ambiance 3/5 My pancakes were fluffy and thick, there was a part in the middle it was still gooey, like it needed 30 seconds to cook through. Everything was decent! Chicken katsu thin slices fried to crispy, a tad bit dry today, still decent with the bbq sauce. My crab omelette was decent with the veggies and mushrooms! Felt like it was very little crab meat. Spam musubi was good We sat outside but sounded like someone was cutting metal pipe or a bar with a machine so it was 100+ dB with metal smell on and off. Was not the best but we stayed and didn't go back inside. Corn bread, wish it had pieces of corn and little more baked for toasty flavors. Also I can't figure out that little hint of after taste. It's decent enough to come back here tho!

Came here for breakfast today ... although the line was a bit long, it moved fairly quickly. We were immediately greeted by a friendly Staff member and handed a menu while we waited . Lots of standard choices with a " Hawaiian twist." There are also some specials listed on a chalk board up near the counter. Hubbly found a table while a stood in line to order. Another staff came by and dropped off 2 glasses and a cold water jar at the table . Place your order at the counter and put your number visibly at your table . ( there's a stand to put the number card.) Staff will bring your order to the table . Hubby got the chicken katsu loco moco. I guess he enjoyed it because he ate the whole plate! I got the Canadian ham eggs Benedict with potatoes. It was standard fare but still good ( would have been better if the potatoes were crispier). We looked around for trash bins to put away our plates but didn't see any . We assumed staff clear tha tables when you leave . Next time leave room for your sweet tooth because the muffins and cookies looked delicious.

Came to celebrate two birthdays for breakfast. Didn't realize how busy this location gets, the line actually to place an order and then get seated is extremely long and confusing, considering the way it wraps inside the restaurant, someone should be there to help assist customers. Food was good, I'm not into ube, I didn't like the pancake, the portuguese sausage for me, was overcooked and too salty, the local moco for me, was just okay. Customer service was good. I really like the Hawaiian latte!

4/26/26 - Went here with my family on a Sunday at lunch time. When you arrive you wait in line to order, then after ordering your party is directed to a table and the food is brought to you at the table. There was a long line out the door when we got there, but it moved pretty quickly and we only waited ~25 minutes before reaching the register. The employee taking our order was very patient with us considering we had a party of 8 people each ordering something different with customizations. Once we were seated, the food also came out pretty quickly. I ordered the Two Eggs and Protein Breakfast with Hibachi Steak and upgrade to Pancakes ($23). It's a big portion of food and honestly can be shared between two people if they're not too hungry. I got the plain buttermilk pancakes, which were delicious, but you can also upgrade to any of their specialty pancakes. The server staff were very attentive throughout our time dining. Would like to come back to try some of their other menu items.

Wow. From start to finish this has been one of the best experiences. Customer service was top tier and their food lived up to the hype. Greeted with smiles and warm hellos. Came in for breakfast, ordered a avocado omelette, trio Belgian waffle, side of spam and a couple of coffees. Food was delicious and fresh. Service was friendly and quick. Excited to go back again. All spaces were clean including the restrooms. Patio looked cute and parking was easy. 5/5 keep it up!

I needed a quick delivery before my gig so I ordered the Breakfast Egg Burrito with portuguese sausage and it was delicious. The spice on the portuguese sausage was subtle but packed with flavor. The size of this burrito Breakfast Egg Burrito was huge i could not eat it all. I got the green sauce which a zesty flavor to which I enjoyed. The flour tortillas was soft fresh and definitely homemase. The Iced Mocha was a deep rich chocolate strong blend it was flovorable and rich.

I went to Aloha stacks for the first time on Valentine's Day for a friend's lunch date. The line was long. I thought it would take a long time to order but the line moved quickly. The cashier was very friendly. I told her it was my 1st time and she made some recommendations...and they were great. I didn't feel rushed to order and she explained the different dishes to me. I made my selections and the food was delivered in a short amount of time. Everything was delicious. The cashier came to our table to check to see how we liked everything. I wasn't expecting that, friendly and exceptional service. I'm still Dreaming of Aloha, can't wait to go back. read more

Went to Aloha Stacks for my bday and let me tell you.. it was DELICIOUS. Not only was the food amazing, the staff was so nice and super attentive. Im not sure if it was the owner or not, but they brought me a cheesecake on the house for my birthday. I loved the food, staff and the restaurant was super nice and clean. This place is amazing. Had the prime rib loco moco which was something I never knew i needed in my life. A+. The service was outstanding, friendly and kept the coffee cup full. Totally coming back! Came here with my husband and our friends for lunch. This place did not disappoint. We ordered their specials (ribs with chimichurri sauce and deep fried oxtails). Both dishes were soooooooooo good! And to top it off, we were served a free slice of strawberry cheesecake. The cheesecake surprised me, in a good way! Fresh strawberries with syrup on top of it with a graham cracker crust=yum! It was the perfect amount of sweetness and just so good! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bomb. Trust, I've had Hawaiin breakfast in Oahu and Kyoto. Service fast and great, food delicious. Staff was really nice and quick. I think the whipped cream is homemade. The only thing they're missing is some mimosas but no biggie, alcohol isn't great for you anyway. We came around 9:45 on a Sunday didn't wait long at all. read more

Great food, great service, great atmosphere! I've been here several times and I've never been disappointed. I highly recommend their Macnut banana pancakes, their strawberries and cream pancakes and the Guava toffee French toast. Their regular coffee is also delicious. Don't let the long lines discourage you as it moves quite fast. The manager is super friendly. If you live in Whittier and haven't been here, you're missing out one one of the best breakfast locations in town. read more

So glad to finally have some good island food in Whittier. This is a family-friendly restaurant with a modern vibrant decor. I tried the very basic breakfast which included an Avocado Omelet and added Portuguese sausage. For my side I tried the tater tots which were my favorite and brewed coffee which was so good I didn't even add any sugar. The only thing different that can be a hit or miss for some people is the concept of ordering. This is a must order at counter before sitting down type of situation which can be both good or bad experience. I personally didn't mind it, but I notice some people with big families did. Overall, good place with good food and service. read more

If you want good food given to you fast, come here! The price, the amount , and the quality was worth it. Yes, there is a long line to order, but there is a reason. It is amazing food! Reading the items on the menu makes my stomach growl with hunger. Walked in on a Sunday morning & went WOW, when I noticed how long the line was to order. I wasn't thrilled to see people lined up next to the tables as diners sat eating their breakfast. With the expression on my face of shock , an employee asked if I was placing a Togo order and to go up to the front of the counter and someone will take my order. I was hoping a $15.00 Breakfast burrito would have tasted like a $15.00 Breakfast burrito, unfortunately not. The chilequilles were nothing special. With a total of $27.00, I should have turned and ran out the door. Geez, if these are the prices before the Tariff wars, what's it gonna be after. Sorry AS, I would've loved to have tried you again for a 2nd chance, I just can't afford you right now. So I guess I'm saying it's not worth going back to try or wait in that long line with someone's butt next to you while your eating. read more

Hard pass Service : you have to pay first, I really hate that concept. The girl messed up like 4 times and I only ordered one thing to try. My son and I usually share a plate just in case we don't like it, she questioned that. We then got our waffle (macadamia) served and the server was like "that's all you ordered"... super odd. The waffle was burnt on the bottom and undercooked in the middle, and it was tasteless. We took two bites and left. read more

I'm pretty addicted to moco loco for breakfast or brunch when i come across it at Hawaiian restaurants. These guys have superior gravy for it, and offer fried rice with it (at a mark-up) that is also a great upgrade. My problem here was that they have no idea how to fry eggs to order. My first visit I ordered over medium eggs (this means solid whites and runny yolk) and my second visit I ordered over-easy (which is mostly cooked whites and runny yolk) to attempt a runny yolk. Both times the yolks were cooked hard. It seems that they have an aversion to serving runny yolks. Like I say, the gravy is great, and the beef is also seasoned great. I can't bring myself to go back anymore though since I already gave them 2 chances to make eggs that aren't cooked to death. read more

Fire food and worth the wait! It does get busy on sundays around lunch time but that's expected with a popular restaurant! It took about 30 mins total from waiting in line to receiving our food which wasn't bad at all. Servers are great and the overall vibe is upbeat and fun. read more
