I came here for a late breakfast on a weekday. They have a parking lot to the rear of the restaurant. Having been to several of their locations, I was familiar with the menu so knew what I wanted before I even walked in. The sweet woman at the register took my order of Captain Mac French Toast (made with Cap'n Crunch and chopped macadamia nuts) and a iced mocha latte. The french toast comes with butter and syrup but I also asked for coconut syrup. Their coconut syrup is sort of a secret menu item as it's not mentioned anywhere; you know it if you know it. It's essential for french toast or pancakes as it's incredibly delicious. The interior is large and they even have a dog-friendly covered patio. I took a seat at a small counter as I was there solo and didn't want to take up a full table. I was given a number to put on my table for the delivery of my food and drink, which arrived in short order. The french toast was made perfectly, enhanced with the crunchy cereal and bits of nuts. As mentioned, the coconut syrup took it to another level. The fresh strawberry placed on top was fresh and flavorful. The iced mocha latte was above average; not the best I've ever had, but I'm not complaining - it was satisfying. Yet another Aloha Stacks location that hits it out of the ballpark. read more

Came here for Saturday brunch and this place was very busy with lines out the door. However, the line moved super fast and the food came out quickly. The girl in the cash register recommended the Captain Mac Nut, one of their top sellers. It was sweet with enough macadamia nuts but couldn't really taste the Captain crunch. The spicy chicken and bacon waffle wasn't spicy, but the combination was very good. All portions are big and shareable. We ordered a mango, guava, and blueberry smoothie, very good. Also the hot chocolate with a shot of espresso also very good. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and pets are welcomed. The parking for this location was a bit hectic. I visited early this morning, right after they opened. I was craving their pancakes that I've fallen in love with. I had their hot coffee for the first time (I usually get a latte) and it was rich with nice body - satisfying cup of coffee. Of course I had pancakes and they were warm, fluffy and so soft. I tried the kalua pork omelette and I was impressed with the amount of shredded pork inside. They were generous with the cheese on top too. I appreciate their manager who always presents with a pleasant affect and personal greetings. The staff have been very nice as well. I also want to comment on the environment of the restaurant this morning. Calming and relaxing music was playing, the AC was on and the air was cool and fresh causing the space to feel more open and comfortable. The restaurant was clean and orderly. This place rules. If this was the entire post, it would not be an exaggeration. I've been here three times all three times I've had different foods, have been very satisfied all three times. There is a line outside normally 25 to 30 minutes to order, but the line moves quickly and the food comes out fast. I've had the Chilaquiles with crab, moco Loco with sirloin steak, and moco Loco with a mixture of meat. I forgot what they call it, all very good. The fried crab rice is really tasty. Super crabby. I do not know much about Hawaiian food how other than the normal fast food selection so be warned, not an expert, but u can tell this is above those type of fast food spots. Tip: Once you get to the front desk to order always look out for the specials, something very tasty normally lurking in damn special mention offers. I was hesitant to order Chilaquiles from a Hawaiian place, but they had their own twist and flavors and it was very good. I was surprised. I recommend this place. there's a few of them I believe but the one I've been to all three times is the one Whittier Do not get discouraged by the line, it does seem like a pain but again it does move quickly and you do not struggle to find a tip once you have your food. Came here around 11 AM on a Thursday, wasn't really packed, lots of tables. You order through the cashier first then they give you a number and they serve you the food and drinks. Good service, came out pretty fast and overall nice. The food was okay, nothing too special. The star of the show was mostly the oreo Belgian waffle. We ordered the mac nut banana pancakes, garden stuffed crepes with a house salad, kalua pork benedict, and ribeye chilaquiles. Everything was tasty and came out looking great. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience better. Downside is that you have to order first and then find a table, but since it was packed we ended up hovering around waiting for people to leave just to sit down, which was a bit annoying. I've driven by this spot for quite some time since they opened and wow I should have stopped by sooner. Everything about this spot was great! From food, to Service, cleanliness, ambiance. WOW! They exceeded my expectations. I ordered the Loco Moco with the Patty and my fiance ordered the Two Egg & Protein breakfast with Hibachi Steak. The Hibachi steak is EXTREMELY flavorful I'd recommend it 100%! Our plates were wonderful with a side of crispy Tater tots and a Hawaiian Latte. While ordering we noticed how busy it was but as soon as any customers would make their way out, the cafe would buss the tables right away. I came with a friend for breakfast, the food and service here was excellent! We ordered the Captain Crunch French toast, it was delicious. It came with a guava drizzle that wasn't overly sweet, perfectly balanced. The drinks were great as well. We tried both the ube latte and the Spanish latte, and both had a nice flavor without being too sweet. Came here around 11ish on a Saturday and no wait! You stand in line to order food first and are given a number, you do have to find a table. It didn't take us long to find one. Now for the food - I would come back JUST for the Ube pancakes! They were sooo moist and delicious, especially paired with the coconut dip yum! I also thought the loco moco (you can customize what kind of protein and we went with the OG meat patty) - the gravy was delish. Upgraded to the fried rice and it was the move! I noticed Aloha Stacks on my way to the DMV so I figured I'd stop by afterwards if it was still breakfast time. I was looking over the menu and decided on chicken cutlet curry with scrambled eggs. It really not a breakfast item but it sounded good in my mind. I ordered to go and when I got to the office I realized it didn't have enough curry and the chicken looked processed and was super dry. Even the rice tasted old so I definitely won't be ordering that again. I also ordered the breakfast egg burritos with sausage for my coworker friend. I tried a slice of it and it was alright. I've seen some reels highlighting how good this place is and hyping up their ube coconut pancakes. Glad there's multiple locations and that I was able to go to this one. Since it's a brunch place, they close a little bit after lunch, so during my lunch hour there was a decently long line from the counter all the way to the back of the restaurant. Despite this, the workers were fairly efficient with taking everyone's orders. You order at the counter first, and then take your number to any of the "reserved" tables around the restaurant. There's booth and small counter "bar" seating, high table seating, and some covered outdoor seats too. The service to get our food took a bit longer and not everything came out at the same time, but overall, it wasn't too bad for the lunch rush. We got the: 1) Ube Coconut Pancakes: -This comes with 2 pancakes, a side of butter, coconut shaving flakes on top, and a heaping helping of their ube sauce. -Can be a bit messy, but delicious overall. -Pancakes are very fluffy and not too sweet nor soggy with all of the sauce either. Delicious and perfect for all the ube lovers out there. 2) Spam Musubi: -I believe this is made to order because the nori seaweed wrap was still crispy and not soggy either. Decided to come here with my son for a Sunday morning breakfast. Wait time to order was about 15 minutes or so. I was worried about seating as it appeared to be a first come first serve seating after you order. Luckily they have an awesome system in place where they place a reserved sign on all clean tables ready to be used once you receive your number from ordering. So seating was very easy! We ordered the Iced Ube Latte, Kids pancakes with eggs and sausage, Kids orange juice, Hibachi steak with scrambled eggs and potatoes, short stack of Ube Pancakes and a slice of Aloha Oreo Cheesecake. All of the food was absolutely amazing. Flavors were fantastic, great portions and great service. Drinks came out first, followed shortly by the food. Everything was at our table within 5-10 minutes. I stopped by Aloha Stacks in Whittier on June 14th and truly stumbled across a gem. I got the strawberry banana french toast, the steak with rice and macaroni salad (super satisfying and well-seasoned), and a lavender vanilla iced latte. It was all sooooo delicious . The outdoor seating area was really nice too -- a shaded space to relax, as you can see in the picture I posted. Dear Management, I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience my family had at your Whittier location. My wife, our kids, and I waited in line for about 10 minutes before reaching the counter. When it was our turn to order, my wife politely asked the employee at the register a simple question: whether seafood is cooked separately from other dishes. This was an important question for us because of seafood allergy concerns. Unfortunately, the employee responded with a very unpleasant attitude. Instead of answering professionally or showing any understanding of why we were asking, she replied that everything is cooked together and that "everything cross contaminates," and she said it in a rude and dismissive manner. Her tone and facial expression made the interaction uncomfortable and unwelcoming. What was most concerning was not just the rude response, but the complete lack of effort to accommodate customers with allergies. For a restaurant that has just opened, I would expect some level of customer care or at least the willingness to say something like, "We can prepare your food in a separate pan," or explain possible options for customers with dietary restrictions or allergies. Food allergies are a serious issue, and many restaurants make an effort to handle them with care. Being told bluntly that everything cross contaminates, combined with a rude attitude, left us feeling like our concerns did not matter at all. We were excited to try your restaurant, but this interaction made the experience very disappointing. I hope management addresses both the customer service issue and considers implementing better practices for handling allergy-related requests. Thank you for taking the time to read this. We drove all the way from San Fernando Valley, Porter Ranch to be exact, visiting a family friend and we were looking for a breakfast/brunch spot, we came in around 9am, line was already building up but it was fast. Food service was prompt. The buzzkill was the line. Didn't know that the line goes outside of the main entrance. I was instructed to go outside to the end of the line where I was displaced by another six customers. The person managing the line, older bald gentleman with a black Hawaiian shirt, didn't manage the line constantly. He also bused tables and assisted the servers.
