Came here for eyebrows late one day and being a new client they we're super welcoming. I needed to use the bathroom first and they didn't push a service at first so I happily became a customer! I've been meaning to write this review for a while. I've been going to Allure for the last year and I have been thrilled with them! I use Anna for my dip nails and Sophia for my pedicures. Anna understands what I gravitate towards and is super patient with my detailed perfectionism lol. She says I have a good eye but I know that means I'm picky. But she's very cool about it and accommodating. She totally gets what I'm looking for in shape (pointy short), durability (3 coats), etc.. I know I'm in skilled hands every time I visit. Sophia has a lot to contend with with my goblin feet. They run super dry and I'm terrible at taking care of them but she makes it them baby soft. She's very gentle and careful, yet precise when removing dead skin. My nail cuticles & toe polish always look clean and well-cared-for (hah) when I leave. The entire experience is consistently enjoyable! Allure offers complimentary alcoholic or nonalcoholic drinks and relaxing massage chairs (for pedicures).  I've attached a few images from my last visit in the comments. My only suggestion for particular clients is be sure to communicate exactly what you're looking for so they can make it happen. Highly recommend this lovely place! I tried this place today with my cousin who is a regular. Let me just say that Anna is the heart and soul of this place. She is so warm and friendly. As an introvert, I usually struggle with bringing up my preferences but I felt comfortable doing so because she listened and was accommodating. I will definitely be coming back with an appointment. So this review is based solely on their pedicure service, I did not get my nails done just the Allure Pedicure ($41) Okay, i'm picky with my pedicures. I care a lot about the SHAPE and the polish application. If I see any lumps or uneven nails I don't like them, and I let the nail tech doing my pedicure know this, lol. She was the sweetest lady named Kim, I had gel nails from my prior pedicure and she started filling them down (also filling at my SKIN, OUCH) She started the pedicure service and the gentlemen at the front asked if I wanted a beverage. (wine me, please) he started cleaning around the shop and 10 minutes later he hands me my wine. This is where I had to remove a star, I can feel the stinging on my skin where she had filed it away, THEN to make matters worse she poured alcohol on my nails. I wanted to cry. I picked a rosey pink color but I saw another client with a very cute sherbert orange color and I changed my mind to that color. The male receptionist? told me they couldn't find a gel color that matches that color so I picked a brighter orange that wasn't TOO much of a difference. Now, this is where it gets good. The Allure Pedi comes with hot towels, paraffin wax, and hot stones massage. The tech time themselves with a timer. So you know, you're getting 15 minutes of massage. Kim gave me such a relaxing foot message that I have ever received. I wish I could just come and pay for a foot message from her everyday. She made sure I was relaxed and she made sure the electric massager worked on my chair. I appreciate that because a lot of nail techs don't even tell you about it. Like I said, this experience was ALMOST perfect. Sanitary practices are....questionable. You can see some tools being used that don't look clean. And also the filling of the skin (It's the day after and my poor toes are screaming in pain) In conclusion, I feel like I received a GOOD service, not amazing, not outstanding. But just enough to make me return. (Just thinking about the massage and I WILL return to Kim, but pleeeeease easy on the filling skin) The polish was smooth no lumps, the shape was nice and straight. I prefer my shape just a tad bit more square but it's not the end of the world. Check it out! There are some nice people here. read more

Got there, was asked to wait for a full set of nails.. waited about 5 minutes another group walked in for pedi's and were sent back to start.. i waited another 4 minutes or so then i was taken. During the first 5 minutes of my session the man who was doing my nails' sister apparently arrived as a surprise from Washington, so he called another worker in VIA phone while doing my nails... He maybe was with me a total time of 10 minutes.. then another woman got there. She was very rough with my hands and didn't do that well of a job. In all I wouldn't recommend this place. I had a great time and I love my mani! I came in and they gave me Ava who is super sweet and friendly and cares that she gets your nails how you want them. She checked with me on the color, length, and thickness at least 3 or more times. I didn't get any cuticle work or warm water to soak my fingers in--I just got the basic manicure which was great with me! Just depends on what you're looking for! I got NexGen nails in an ombre pink and white for $45. Also, I saw them using those plastic tub liners for their pedicures. The whole place seemed very sanitary. I was impressed with Allure Nails. I was greeted by a gentleman I had spoken with over the phone regarding prices. He was very friendly and offered me a drink (they have wine, sodas & water). I opted for the deluxe pedicure. The nail tech was very attentive. The chairs here actually work to relax you although the remote had a shattered screen. An employee had her young daughter there and she created a bit of a distraction. Another minor incident, the gentleman told me over the phone he would give me 10% off a pedicure just for trying them out. He had left before I was finished and failed to tell my nail tech about the 10% off. My husband and I went in almost two weeks ago for a mani/pedi. The staff were friendly, and the salon appeared to be very clean. But... 1. Only four days into my gel manicure it began chipping! $17 extra for that stuff and it hasn't held up to the hype. Not to mention that the price of polish is built into the manicure and the $17 was in addition to that! WAY over priced for something that hasn't lasted very long. 2. There was only 1 other person getting a pedicure and there are 5 pedicure chairs on each side of the room. Yet they somehow managed to place my husband and I in the two chairs with a support beam between them, instead of scooting down two chairs. This caused the lady doing our manicures to not be able to switch sides, and thus requiring me to lean at an odd and uncomfortable angle for her to get to both of my hands. I wasn't able to relax AT ALL. Irritating. 3. No one ever cleaned the pedicure chairs! When the other customer left they simply drained her chair's tank amd that employee went home. The same thing happened when our pedicures were complete. Drain and leave. I sincerely doubt someone comes in each morning and sanitizes each station from the night before. And when it comes right down to it, I doubt they sanitize between customers. For what our experience was and the end result, this place is significantly overpriced! ESPECIALLY for Garland! read more

I tried this place because it was an easy meeting point for all the girls to get together and get their nails done. Short to say I shouldn't have cheated on my go to nail salon. No one was really welcoming besides the one man in the front. No one asked me if I wanted a drink. My pedicure was rushed and you CAN tell. My lady did not understand anything I was saying, so it was hard to communicate. She burned me 3 or 4 times with scolding hot water. My toes look okay and honestly for the price I could go somewhere way better. My coat isn't "perfect". She didn't file down my toes well enough or cut my in-growns. After she sealed my toes with the Nexgen finishing coat she proceeded to file my nails. I told her to not do that and she still continued to try. I told her no again. The other lady next to her proceeded to tell me to let her do it because SHE knows what she is doing, not me. Well. I actually know enough about beauty to know that doing this creates the seal you formed to be exposed and that's what causes your color to crack, chip, break, etc. Overall, I'm disappointed. All the girls aren't really impressed with their nails. We will not be back. read more

Amazing! I've been to many different salons over the years and had some not so great experiences. I usually show them what I want and just let my tech do whatever because I'm sort of too shy to speak up. The woman here did it exactly how I wanted! She listened to me when I said I like them really short and the end result was fabulous! I get the me hen which you have to fully take off for a fill and the whole experience was a little over an hour which is super quick! I went to this salon once and never again. My nail tech did an okay job on my pedicure but she butchered my finger nails. She seemed extremely irritated as she stabbed my nail bed with the cuticle pusher and made me bleed. She was not gentle at all. When she was using the cuticle clippers, she was making up and down stabbing motions and was ripping and nicking my skin. After painfully protesting my torture session for a few minutes, she refused to be more gentle and I complained to the tech sitting next me. The tech said something in a different language and my tech basically started snapping at her. My tech picked up my hand and began stabbing me again...This time I stood up and went to the manager in tears... He apologized and said he would get another tech to finish but my nail beds were so raw I wouldn't let anyone touch them. He again apologized and gave me a free manicure for the next service. (I will never use it.) My nails were so damaged they were splitting until I grew them fully out again. She was basically scrapping layers and denting my nails with that evil cuticle pusher... Things only became worse while waiting on my cousin who was having her nails done by another tech. I watched as they were doing her acrylics and some kind of formula was applied and she pulled her hand back complaining of a painful burning sensation. This is a girl with a high pain tolerance and never shows discomfort fyi... Her face went very red with pain as she expressed this to the tech. The tech smirked at her and said "Nothing is wrong with you." In tears my cousin continued to protest and her finger was turning bright red. The tech threw down her tools and said that my cousin is just hard to please and was making it up. We both became very upset and in the end the manager told my cousin that if she wasn't satisfied with her service than she should just leave. I will never recommend this place and I have no idea why they're still open. read more

I went into the salon with the worst chips on my nails due to eating lbs and lbs of crawfish the day before, nevertheless, I had to get my nails done ASAP. I walked into the salon right at noon on Sunday and they already had 5 clients settled in, but they still had available techs to take care of me right away. Any later time and I would recommend calling for an appt, because after I left 1.5 hrs later there were about 4 ppl waiting for their turn. I got their most basic pedi for $25 and it was awesome! The tech massaged my legs for quite awhile before putting on nice, warm, and steamy towels on each leg, before starting the pedi. I asked for a gel mani, and I got the new nexgen nail polish, which I was unaware of this new technique. It is where you use a clear polish and then a powder to define the color, and this is repeated about 5 times, without the use of UV rays, so there is no risk of skin cancer. I feel like it will last longer than gel nail polish, but we'll see in a few weeks. Btw, I also had 3 nails that needed nail extensions to even the lengths out and they look so natural. Nexgen nails + 3 extensions were only $35, so total bill was $60. This is so cheap compared to what I am used to paying! Unfortunately, I live in MD, but when ever I visit Dallas again, I will definitely come here again. read more

This salon is very conveniently located close to my house in the Firewheel Center in Garland and is a shining star among the other salons at this shopping center. I went with my sister and I was immediately impressed upon walking in. Salon has a great atmosphere and is beautifully decorated in a Venice-like setting. There are plenty of spa chairs and a separate room for waxing services. There are TV's throughout but they are muted and unobtrusive. We were walk-ins on a busy Saturday during prom and graduation season but were immeditaly greeted and seated together in two spa chairs. There was plenty of staff to handle everyone even though it was quite crowded. I was impressed with the quick and friendly service. We ordered off the menu and both got the Deluxe Pedi service which includes a full service consisting of things you pay extra for at other salons like parrafin, mask, callous removal and leg massage. All of this for only $35.00! The staff was nice and attentive and did a great job. We were both very pleased. They work effienciently but do not rush. They did a nice job on my acrylic toenails which I was concerned about but apparently they do acrylics toenails a lot - some salons won't do them but Allure is happy to do them. I also got my brows waxed and colored and she did a great job. They also offer free beverages to their customers as part of their standard service which is very impressive. We both left very satified and will definitely return. I also plan to get my acrylic fingernails done here too. Even with all our combined services, we got out very inexpensively. Won't be back to Allure Nails. When Vince owned it the customer service was amazing. Now it's horrible. I wanted to wait for a particular nail tech (Hong) and the owner got mad at me. He told me I shouldn't want to wait for one and allow the others to work on me. What he already knew that in my last two times there I allowed someone else do my nails and they were horrible! I had to come home and soak them off. Then one hour later (although I had an appointment) the tech finally started my nails and the female owner went over and said something to her in their native tongue. Next thing you know my nail tech started to chastise me about waiting for her and telling me that I need to learn to go to other people and not wait. Turns out I should have just left when I got there for my appointment as she has taken someone else in my place. She did the crappiest nails I've ever seen!! Then I was moved to my pedicure. Again they talked about me and did a sloppy job. NEVER GOING BACK!! They are rude and the work is horrible!! They obviously don't appreciate my business. read more
