I had to get my nails done for a wedding I needed to attend in Texas a few weeks back. I had tried to contact this place multiple times through their website for inquiry, but there were never responses from anyone on any of the days that I had inquired. Was quite disappointed with that and had to end up calling them during their business hours to get myself scheduled. I was hoping that since I needed to schedule an appointment, the service and the nails would turn out good as they wouldn't have to rush doing my nails. It was not as good as I thought it would be, which was disappointing. I went in on the day of my appointment that morning and was greeted. The ambiance in there was quiet and clean. They gave me the booklet to look at which color I wanted and sat me down. They asked me if I wanted a drink and they got me a drink in which I was not able to drink since they worked on me right away. Both my feet and my nails were done at the same time which I thought was interesting since I never really had that done before. It is usually done separately. I was not sure if it was because they just wanted to get me done as soon as possible or if it was because I was the first customer of the day. Initially when I got my manicure done, the guy who did my nails, did the flower designs with a highlighter color. Initially I did not think much of it, so I let him do what he was already doing with the design. When I left and showed my nails to my husband, he did not like the color and said the color looked like I was a kid getting a flower with a highlighter color. He told me to call them to go back and get it changed. We called them and initially, I had to go back later that evening to get it changed, but eventually, they were able to get me back in earlier to fix the issue. After the color was fixed, all was good. The manager did mention to me and my husband that normally they won't do that because if I did not like it, I should of said something, but in my defense, how would I have known that my husband would not like it and the color did make it look like I was a kid after carefully observing it. Other than that, it was fine. I appreciated that they fixed the issue even though they were not supposed to after I got the service. I went for the rest of the week doing my thing and when I was about to leave from Texas back to California, I noticed that my nails started to peel. The top layer of my left thumb, it started to peel. The flower design ended up coming off on my left thumb and even up till now, it is still peeling. Two weeks after I got my nails done, my left middle finger also started to peel and actually ended up cracking as well. Now, it has almost been a month and my pointer finger is now peeling as well. This has been the most disappointed I ever been with getting my nails done. I never had cracking and peeling of my nails when I got my nails done somewhere else. I really wanted to like this place, but it really just disappointed me and I honestly don't think I'll be coming back here if I ever come back to Texas. So very sad. read more

I walked in this week after reading the great reviews on this quaint nail salon. After speaking with Annie she immediately knew what I wanted and made an appointment for me. I went back 2 days later and got a Nextgen dip/powder manicure. I had previously gone to another salon and didn't feel they listened to what I wanted. If you've ever had that type of experience at other salons, you have to check Pink Cloud out! They listen to your needs and don't try to push things on you that you didn't ask for. Emma took great care of me and I love my nails! They have a ton of Nextgen colors to choose from. This is my go to spot for nail and toes from now on! I visited the nail spa this weekend for the first time. I recently moved and am on the hunt for the best local nail tech, salon, and customer experience. After reviewing Yelp, I came across Pink Cloud nail spa and because they were very much positive, I booked an appointment. The salon is quaint, which surprised me because it's a spa, I was expecting it to be large, open, and grand. Although, it's not a dump it's also not grand. When I walked in there 2 people waiting to be seen and enough space to sit for just them two. Luckily, the speed of service was above par and I was sat down as soon as I walked in. I made an appointment ahead of time. Appointments are recommended because they stay busy and close early. The staff was friendly and were sure to acknowledge all guests as they entered and left. Almost in unison. Kath & Annie provided my services, and my nails look good too. I do however have a couple of complaints.1. I asked that my nails not be filed on the underside and was initially ignored 2. I advised that I liked to dry under the UV light 5-6 times to ensure my nails are dry before leaving, but I felt rushed as I dried. They came to check on me several times within a matter of minutes to ask if I was dry yet, maybe I was holding up the chair for the next guest I thought. So I offered to dry in another area. No one was though. Once I finished, I was met by a nice women asking me to fill out a survey since I was a first time guest. This was new for me. I appreciate the owner caring to ask. But because I was rushed to dry my nails I was also annoyed by it. With all things being said, I haven't decided if/ when I return. Annie did a good job though. read more

I used to see Annie when I was here for my nails 2019 and then moved to far away, but now that I'm closer I didn't even hesitate about coming back to her! She is sweet, genuine and takes her time. She doesn't make you feel bad for anything and puts her heart into what she does. Photo has harsh lighting the nails are a lot smoother than they appear. She does such a great job! Jenny did my toes and she was great as well! I had injured one of my toes months ago and she didn't make me feel awkward or anything. I have visited Pink Cloud Nail Spa a few times and was satisfied with their service. However, my last visit was extremely disappointing. I went in for a dip manicure with chrome overlay. Even though I made my appointment weeks in advanced, the technician seemed rushed and was just trying to get me out of there. The chrome overlay was supposed to be cured by a gel light, but it seemed that I barely spend a minute on each hand. I should have known the manicure was bad because it started peeling within 10 minutes. I had to come back to get it fixed minutes after my service and they seemed annoyed with me. But it gets worse. Within 2 days the overlay was peeling on nearly all my nails!!! I was out of town for an even and this extremely expensive manicure was peeling! It took so many days to get in touch with them and they gave excuse after excuse. I had to insist on a refund but they only offered a refund of $15 on a manicure that racked up to $73! I am still waiting on this refund. In the 30 years I've gotten manicures this is my worst experience. Even 'normal' polish doesn't peel like the gel overlay nail polish did. Considering I have been coming in for the last few months and tip 25% I was shocked they did not want to refund my full manicure even when I provided pictures of my nails peeling the next day. I never write reviews but this has bothered me so much I wanted to share. I hope this helps someone or at least encourages the business to better resolve these issues. read more

I've been to this salon twice now. The first time, I read a bunch of reviews and just knew it was a sure thing. My first experience was good. The quality of my nails were on point. I was a little disappointed that instead of waiting to do my hands and nails separate ( due to COVID) they decided to do them at the same time. Idk about most of y'all but when I get my nails done it is a time for me to relax and kick back. I prefer to have my music playing or watching a show on my phone.
