I have been coming to this salon for over 3 years now! It's simply the best for the price point. My girl Lynn is the best around. She can do anything you ask of her. I've even gone in and just let her pick and she never disappoints. The facility is relatively small with a small waiting area but overall it's always cleanly and they're always happy to ask you if you'd like something to drink while you wait and while you're getting your nails done. I get a full set and gel on my nails and it's only $30! There are LONG wait times sometimes so honestly it's always best to call before going! They have long wait times because it's worth the wait!

Booked an appointment at 1:30 to get my nails done and didn't get helped until 2:30. Once I finally got seated I showed a picture of what I wanted and they said they didn't have the color. I tried to be understanding and find a different color but it just wasn't turning out the way I wanted. I just ended up doing ombré and once they were done the ombré didn't even come out to be that. Friendly staff, did an okay job on my nails. The clear top coat is VERY thick. The thing I noticed most about this salon is that it is not very clean. Even during COVID when you would think they would be doing extra cleaning, it just wasn't. Nail dust and debris EVERYWHERE and not wiped down between clients. This alone will keep me from returning. read more

Monae Monet--Only 4 people working and its ALWAYS packed. You can definetly tell who the regulars are and who aren't because favoritism &Gossip is everywhere.... And on top of that they don't use different pedicure tools, just was and reuse the same ones and the woman next to me had a sore on her foot... Definetly won't be coming back for that read more

A friend recommended NT. I went in for a pedicure and realized half way through that they didn't seem to sanitize the sinks on either side of me between customers -- I never saw the sinks drained and refilled with sanitizing solution, or sprayed, or anything. They were just wiped out with the towel used for the pedicure. Scary. read more

I moved to Wylie about three years ago. I happened upon this little nugget and have always enjoyed their service. They ARE always busy which is why you either go early or schedule an appointment. Occasionally when they were busy, I left and went to other nail shops in the area....bad idea. I took my husband in for a pedicure and he enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this place for your mani-pedi needs. read more

Was dog sitting in Wylie when I couldn't stand looking at my previous gel job from another place and yelped this place. Thank goodness I came. While the place is small and I can see it becoming an issue with wait times (I luckily stepped in before a group of four girls came), the prices and finished product are worth it. I can absolutely see myself driving out to Wylie to get my nails done. I've been to several nail salons in Dallas and none are as cheap or as good as NT. read more

Had an appt today at 6pm for a dip and pedi. Showed up and waited 5 minutes then asked if there was someone available and was told I would have to wait 25 minutes. The client sitting next to me stated that walk ins are taken ahead of appointments. What is the point of making an appt if they don't honor them? They obviously don't need my money, nor do I want their services! Oh btw this was my FIRST VISIT and it will definitely be the LAST!!! read more

BEST PLACE TO GET YOUR NAILS DONE GUARANTEE! I've had my nails and toes done by all the nail techs and they all do an AMAZING job. I go to Linh to get my nails done with dip powder and she never disappoints, she is super sweet as well. I also had her wax my eyebrows once and she is the only person who actually cleans them up really good without thinning the shape. My dip powder nails last up to 3 weeks and I only have to get them done again because they are grown out not because they start to break. They also put a gel top coat over them so they are very shiny and pretty. I've been to plenty nail salons and nothing tops this one. Good customer service, great price, amazing nails, so many color options for everything (gel, dip, polish), good location as well (if you have kids they are right next to some food places). I've been going here every 2-3 weeks to get my nails done and I never have to worry about my nails looking bad or coming off. Highly recommend:) read more

I have been going to Nt Nails for a couple of years now and they are great! They take walk-ins, or appointments. There is a wide range of colors to choose from, reasonable prices, and great service! I usually call ahead and they will give me real wait time estimates. The employees are super friendly and love to chat while they do your nails. They do an amazing job and continue to impress me. I found this place after moving to the area 3 years ago. I absolutely love coming here. They're so nice and friendly. They know me so well. My pedis are so relaxing they really take their time. And my nails are always perfection. I'm really picky about who does my nails and they always do an awesome job. They're also very affordable compared to other nail salons I've visited and their work I'd say is far better. I highly recommend you coming and getting your nails and toes done. However, Susan did a fabulous job on my (Dip only) nails, and changed the (regular) polish on my toes... BUT.. I was overcharged. $65 +Tax and 20% tip. I was told - Dip was $40 & Polish was $15 = $55 When I called them to make another appointment with the same girl, I wanted to first inquire about the charges; I couldn't get a solid answer... the Manager-Lily kept changing the "fee" amount (for each service) to try and "match/justify" what I was charged. She kept saying ... "You got a pedicure" (I did not), then "you got gel polish" (I did not)... "$5 to soak nails" (Okay - I've never been charged extra for this service, but okay - it's still an overcharge!). She kept changing the base fee, even blaming it on her dad (who processed the transaction) ... until I gave up and decided that this place isn't worth the STRESS it would bring if I returned. * Customers deserve a CLEAR Pricing structure - you don't get to charge whatever you want and expect them to return... and risk an even higher fee the next time!! Who has time for that!! * Had this been corrected... or handled better, I may have given them a higher score; but ZERO effort was made! * Customer Service & honesty matters! * Looks like I am not the only person complaining (reviews) about being overcharged! I'm sure there are others, they just choose to never return! * If you give them a try, just get CLEAR pricing upfront; they'll be nice, and your nails will probably look great!

That treatment was well and it was my first time getting my nails done so when the massaged my toes I started to laugh. The people over all were really nice and would ask you if you wanted anything to drink which was sweet of them. Since it was my birthday they gave me a free design. I give it a 3.5 because I got shellac that wouldn't chip for At least 2 weeks and when I got home did some chores and looked at my nails again they chipped! Very little but they chipped it was less than 3 hours and it had already chipped. Very disappointed my friend who got a mani but no shellac hasn't chipped yet so it make me upset! For sure not worth $35 and just a few days ago it had started to peel and I hasn't even been a week! Crazy! I won't be going back

When I walked in, I mentioned I need a pedicure and a manicure by the time I was seated (Unfortunately) I received a phone call for about 45 seconds. By the end of call before talking to me my nails were prepped for a dip manicure and tips were being glued. I hesitantly stopped them and I mentioned - hey I want a spa manicure first and don't want tips to be added. She paused and continued to add tips and after finishing adding tips on both hands. She asked it's okay I will cut it. (Again - I didn't want any tips added to begin with) I annoyingly said sure go ahead. If you see my nails.. I absolutely did not get what I wanted. The length, the services or even the color. Nails are unfinished, didn't get a manicure service at all. Nails were not cleaned or no oil massage. Work was so poor, one side bulky, other flat, cuticle cracked, edges bumpy and uneven filled. I was very disappointed by this visit. Please know, Essence is one of my favorite spots to get a great pedicure. If you plan to visit.. please be more courageous than I was and speak up or make sure you get what you want.

The owner himself was a bad experience, repairing a day old chip with the wrong color, insisting it was the same color. He actually told me this. He told me the color had changed over the night. I was speechless, what could I say? So I go in today. Not too busy. But apparently I was sitting next to a favorite client who is getting very pampered and special treatment. Fine OK I get it. She may have been a very loyal customer. I waited over an hour and a half for Sara to do my toes. She had done my toes before. Unfortunately, she went to heat up the water and poured scalding water onto one of my feet. SCALDING. HOT. She apologized profusely after I literally screamed and everybody in the place looked at me and her completely shocked. I didn't see her coming. She kept saying oh, he must've just been surprised. Three times I had to follow this with, no, the water was hot!? I may be blonde, but I'm not stupid. She pointed to a machine and said that she was so sorry she didn't realize the water that came out of this giant metal machine was so hot because she had gloves on and she couldn't feel much in her hands anymore. I'm sorry, but I sure felt it!?. This was followed by Five of her request for me to confirm that I was OK. What was I going to say?? If you've ever been burned by hot water before you know that it hurts for a minute or two and then goes away. It still doesn't take away the fact that you were scalded!? I felt like she did a somewhat rushed job on my "DELUXE" pedicure as the place was now getting busy. Granted, I waited over an hour and a half for my turn. I don't know about you but when I get told how beautiful my nails are how nice my feet feel 100 times during my pedicure or manicure from the person who was doing the work, it gets annoying. I feel like I am getting played. Word to nail establishments ....we have our own brains. LOL BACK TO THIS RELAXING $60 TREATMENT. SHE THEN PROCEEDED TO CUT MY TOE WITH HER TOOLS. IT DID NOT DRAW BLOOD, BUT I ALMOST JUMPED OUT OF MY CHAIR AT LEAST THREE TIMES. SHE KEPT SAYING IT WAS NECESSARY--THAT SHE HAD TO GET SOMETHING OUT OF MY NAIL BED. THERE WAS NOTHING THERE. Sorry for the use of all caps not intentional and I don't feel like retyping, but I did want to get a word out. So when I was checking out, I was astonished. They offered me no discount. You would think they would've said no charge. Oh well, there are plenty of other places to go. I did also want to say that a black gentleman walked in. He was never acknowledged. He walked to the back and sat there for somebody to do his nails. After approximately 40 minutes, he stood up and left the establishment. There were two women who worked here who said something in another language, and then giggled after he walked out. UnbeLIEVable I don't blame him for leaving!!!...he's probably lucky. He won't have his feet or hands burned off I'm just really surprised that a business like this is still around.

My nail tech was sweet and this is one of two nail shops EVER that carded me for wine but it makes sense as half their clientele was younger. I decided to get the 2nd most expensive pedicure to pamper myself which the massage portion was great, as my photo shows, but I felt they could have done more intense scrubbing. The only reason I am still searching is because you can feel like a sardine/like so much Is going on as it was so small and I feel like the pedicure could have been a bit more hygenic/as I said better scrubbing.
