I came here on my search for a new pedicure spot, and let's just say if all else fails in the area this may be it. It's located by mattress firm in a plaza so pay attention to your GPS because it's hard to see by the eye. When I came in the manager greeted me without making eye contact as she worked on someone else which kind of is a pet peeve. They asked me to sign in which was also kind of pointless since I was the only one waiting but I did so as they were busy. My nail tech was sweet and this is one of two nail shops EVER that carded me for wine but it makes sense as half their clientele was younger. I decided to get the 2nd most expensive pedicure to pamper myself which the massage portion was great, as my photo shows, but I felt they could have done more intense scrubbing. The only reason I am still searching is because you can feel like a sardine/like so much Is going on as it was so small and I feel like the pedicure could have been a bit more hygenic/as I said better scrubbing. My husband comes with me on occasion so that he can get a good foot massage. They had the shop remodeled about a year ago so it is always clean and fresh looking. I went to Tracy's for the first time a few days ago, based on the strength of Yelp reviews. I just had a manicure and spa pedicure with basic polish, nothing fancy. The pros: everyone here was very nice. They didn't talk too much or make disparaging comments. I was offered refreshments when I arrived. Prices were ok. The cons: it's only been two days, and my toenails are chipped and the polish on my fingernails is peeling off in sheets. I haven't done anything particularly strenuous. Also, all of the polishes they have seemed really old and were separating. The place itself is showing a lot of wear and tear. The chairs are old and the material is cracking. Everything is rather dingy. And the place is so cluttered! There are things piled in every corner. Stacks and stack of just random stuff. The towels are completely threadbare and ripping. They use random old pillows for cushions. I don't go very often for mani pedis, so I do like a nice salon experience when I do. I would not go back to the place or recommend it. read more

OK, I am a guy who likes a good pedicure. Years ago my wife convinced me it was not sissy boy stuff. (I was a macho cop and biker) But she was right, it was very relaxing and I felt great after a good treatment. My favorite gal at Tracy is Amy. She speaks no English but we communicate just fine. She always treats me like I am her only customer. I get the hot rock leg massage and a good hour of personal attention while I catch up on my reading. Sometimes I am the only guy in the place and I have gotten used to it. A couple of times ladies have told me they wish their husbands would try it out but they could not drag them in. Occasionally there are other guys getting the same treatment as I'm getting. We usually pass a knowing look that we are on to something special. So, if you are a guy reading this, check it out. Despite the constant upselling attempts, the quality of service is really below par. Zero attention to details, bad nails shaping and filing, cuticle trimming, and painting jobs, overall laziness and no desire to have a satisfied customer. Would not recommend it. read more

All i can say is wowzers! TAMMY hooked me up. I went to 3 shops before this one and they turned me away telling me what i wanted was "too hard". Im so used to nail techs arguing with me about what i want but I simply showed Tammy a picture and she redid the look. Although she wasnt familiar with the new technique i wanted, after watching a video i showed her, she practiced on one nail and perfected it! I want to thank her for the easy non over priced service. The ladies here were sooo amazing. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Tracy and offered beverages. The wait was only about 20 minutes. My sister and I got artificial nails with the color powder, and our mom got a VIP pedicure and her eyebrows waxed. The ladies were so sweet and welcoming, and the environment was clean and smelled nice. I absolutely love the way my nails turned out. The color came out smooth, my nails dried in less than three minutes. I was cut a bit on two of my nails with the electric file, but it wasn't anything serious and she immediately corrected it. They were so sweet and treated all of the customers like family. I love this place and anytime I need my nails done I'm coming back here. read more

To begin with, they have wonderful massage chairs!I was greeted when I first walk in and they got started on getting a chair ready. I was lucky and got Tracy! She is very sweet and didn't make me feel bad because my feet were in horrible shape. I got the milk and honey package. It was worth every penny. I'm new to the Wylie area and I must say I have not found a good nail shop out here at all. I thought Tracy's was it, but unfortunately it was not. My last visit and I mean LAST, was not a good one. First off they tried to charge me $35 PLUS &5 extra dollars for long nails which was mid length. I refused due to this being so basic, a natural look. So Mrs. Tracy then comes and tells me she charge me $25, I agreed. WRONG!! Not even 3 days later my nail on my right hand just popped off. Then two days later my other hand popped off, I'm so pissed at this point I just start popping them off & im wondering why my nails are coming off so quick. Not enough super glue on the fake nail to the real nail which is causing them to pop off! If u notice I DONT NEED A FILL! The nails are just coming off, no chance to get a fill or nothing! I'm so pissed that I wasted my money n that it seems for this area NO ONE can do nails correctly!?!!!! I'll drive to Mesquite and get the service I deserve. I was referred to this place by someone who goes there religiously and loves it, but I had a terrible experience! I made an appointment for myself and a friend for 1pm. We were both getting a pedicure and she was doing dip for her nails and I was getting a manicure. We got there at 12:58, picked out a color and promptly got seated in a chair...only to wait 30 minutes for someone to start on us and then at about 1:45, we decided we weren't going to have time for nails since no one had started on either of us yet! The gal that did my pedicure was very rude to me for no reason and basically refused to do my pedicure correctly. I will definitely NOT go back to this salon. read more

Not welcoming at all. When I walked in, Tracy(The owner) asked me "What do you need??". That was so unprofessional..... I got Mani/Pedi combo, two ladies worked simultaneously to finish everything in 20 Minutes. I like long relaxing pedicure so it was a big disappointment for me. They did a terrible job on removing cuticles, hardly anything was removed. Massage was short and hot stone was way too hot. This place is ridiculous. I have gone to Tracy Nails 3 times now. Each time they've messed up my nails and refused to fix them. They're always rushing and it feels like they just try to kick you out. The lady who did my nails on my last trip was throwing my hands around and very rude. I told her what I wanted my nails to look like, (the way my job allows me to have my nails, which I told her 4 times) and she told me they would look better another way. She completely disregarded what I said, and did what she liked. It is extremely frustrating to have to go back and argue with them that I got in trouble with my job because they refused to do my nails the way I wanted. I was really bummed because my friend loves this place. I got the deluxe pedicure ($30) from a lady named One. As soon as she walked up, I could tell I wasn't going to be happy. She was completely grouchy and rude. She made not even one word of conversation. She cut my toenails short without asking me if I wanted them cut or just shaped and filed. She scrubbed and massaged my legs in less than fifteen minutes total even though my friend started ten minutes before me and ended ten minutes after me. I have been looking for a reasonable priced nail salon around the murphy wylie area. I would always go to wakiki nails or HQ nail spa. Wakiki is a little more overpriced and HQ is cheaper but, both are not as personable. I just feel like another customer when I go there. I wen to Tracy nail spa the ladies are so much more nicer and personable along with pretty good pricing. I felt so welcomed as soon as I came in and ladies did an amazing job! I got the works! Currently pregnant and about to be due any day now. These ladies took great care of me and made me feel so relaxed. Will definitely be going back and highly recommend. I had a mani/pedi and now currently have an infection which the manager tried to incenuate derived from either a spider bite or hitting my hand on something. I had to seek treatment at an urgent care and it was indeed diagnosed as an infection that incurred at the cuticle base. I went back to the nail shop after the procedure/treatment at urgent care and advised the manager again of the infection and she had the audacity to ask me if I wanted a pedicure; REALLY!!--People think twice about going here and please make sure that the equipment has been sanitized and you see it for yourselves!!!! 02/02/16 tg read more
