I'm genuinely shaking with anger as I write this. Yesterday afternoon I went in to get my eyebrows cleaned up. I walked in. They were polite. I was greeted like normal and asked to sit in a chair. The lady who I assumed was to do, my eyebrows came up to me, and I began to tell her what it was that I wanted done. She waved her hand at me motioning for me to put my head back on the headrest and I continued saying I just want them cleaned up little. Keep the same shape. She said nothing to me and immediately put her thread on my face. I sat back, didn't say anything and let her work. I knew what my eyebrows looked like before and how much needed to be taken off. So when I recognized that she was going higher and higher making my eyebrows thinner I asked her to stop to which she tried to tell me that it was fine and to let her keep going. It was clear she couldn't really understand me, which is frustrating. I have no prejudice against immigrants, but Jesus Christ if you're gonna work on someone's face at least understand what they're asking you to do. However, it was also clear that I was upset and not happy with the service. The owner came over who I recognized and has done my eyebrows every other time I've been in. She was extremely apologetic. She cleaned up my other eyebrow and then used me as an example for her employee. I did not sign up to be practiced on. Let me tell you that. I came in to have a licensed aesthetician thread my eyebrows. When I called back asking if I could get the name and license number of the woman , I was told that a license isn't required to thread eyebrows. That may be true, however, it told me that there is an employee working in a spa where facials massages shampoo conditions blowouts threading waxing are all performed, who is unlicensed. If you are training people at your salon who have less than 750 hours of training you need to let the client know. End of story. I now have 2 obviously different shapes on my face and am beyond embarrassed and enraged. Don't come here. It's not worth the inconsistency, it smells funny inside, it's outdated, everyone but the owner lacks in customer service skills and she's letting unlicensed people provide services. read more

I absolutely love coming here! They do waxing, threading, facials and other things but I come here for the eye brow & upper lip threading and eye brow tinting! Manisha is the lady I always wait for; they don't take appointments here but they work really fast and the wait is never too bad. Weekends are super busy so I definitely say come at 10 am on a weekday for quickest wait! I always see the chairs and space wiped and cleaned after each customer so with covid in mind, I love seeing how absolutely clean they are here! Prices are so reasonable and threading is so much better for our skin as it's not pulling at it but the minus is that it does hurt more than waxing! Especially the upper lip but it's tolerable as I've gotten use to it and Manisha always goes fast which I love about her! read more

I have never left a review but I am absolutely blown away at how HORRIBLE this salon is! The lady who cut my hair completely butchered it and now I will have to wait months for my hair to regrow. I showed her a picture and this is how it turned out.The whole haircut was over within five minutes. I asked for about an inch off and she cut off six!!! There is random chunks of hair missing. When asked for a refund she was very hostile and threatening. I do not think this salon has licenses to cut hair. read more

I went there once before and had amazing service, speed, and price. I therefore returned this week and had the complete opposite experience! Me and my husband walked in and requested a wash and cut for me and a cut for him. The lady at the counter did have some language barrier but nodded and said wash first. While trying to enjoy my hair wash (we all should enjoy it like a massage!) I heard a woman on the phone with what sounded like customer service. She was out of sight but obviously going through the frustration of customer service. After my wash (which sucked really because of a fly, but not heir fault it's Texas summer!), I was placed in a chair and told to wait. After a very long awkward silence, another customer walked in and was told by the I assume lash artist it would be 15/20 min. Then the lady from the back came out and confirmed a cut (me) and one waiting. I realized I was waiting on the lady on the phone in the back the whole time. She comes out and confirms a cut and how I want the style, all the while on hold on her phone. She did ask if it was ok to keep the call while cutting my hair. Awkwardly I said fine, but thought this was outrageous. She preceded to cut my hair and take the call twice leaving me sitting there awkwardly. She rushed, didn't dry my hair all way the way and when done just pointed to the next woman. My husband said he was just given a bad look from the lady that washed my hair the whole time. We didn't even bring up his hair cut at checkout obviously. Poor poor customer service. I understand staff shortage but communication makes or breaks it!! You can't beat their prices! It's only $4 to get your eyebrows threaded. The place I used to go to charged $8 with a purchase of an annual membership. ($10 without one) My daughter and I go here for threading and wax, and have always been happy with the results. I do admit that the salon could use more decor to liven up the place, but I don't mind it because their prices are such a bargain. Close to home, cheap, and they get the job done! read more

I was an ex Heena salon/European waxing costumer. Nothing beats the prices of this salon and I think that's really the catch besides some of the fabulous workers. (I am always there) I get my eyebrows, waxing (by iris) and got a Heena done the other day. This is my go to place and unlike European wax center I don't have to make an appointment. Wanting "thinner" brows does not mean I want nonexistent brows. You'd think growing your eyebrows out would give the threaders more brow area to work with in order to create the client's desired shape. Yet the threaders here still manage to chop off all my hairs! When I came home, I noticed there were 2-3 little hairs that were still there, but nothing a tweezer couldn't get, and for $9 for eyebrows, chin, and upper lip threading; that's not bad at all! I went in to get a full face threading for prom. I had been growing out my eyebrows for a couple months and just wanted a clean up. The lady made my eyebrows way too thin. They women there were also unwelcoming and failed to greet me when I came in. It is the only salon where you only have to pay $15 for full face threading. I came in thinking it was only $12 but I did not mind paying $3 more. Overall the threading was done OK. I had to tell her to go back and remove more and she kindly did. Sadly, the salon is dirty and the chairs have a bad smell. The salon desperately needs to get cleaned!! I went in to get my roots dyed to cover the gray hair, and specifically asked for dark brown, to match with the rest of my hair. The woman who did my hair didn't give explanation nor clarification on what chemicals were being put onto my body. My hair ended up being pitch black, and when I asked the woman about it, she said she has 10 years of experience, and said to go to Sally's and dye it myself if I have a problem. The employees are so unprofessional and childish to customers. I expected more from this salon, and can confidently say I will never come back. I never had a bad experience until now, with Manisha. I too have been getting threaded for awhile and have been going to the Richardson, Heena salon. One of the ladies that works at this location has also worked at the Richardson location. They do a great job and it's slightly cheaper! I was able to hold my 4 month old while the girls worked together...one stretching my eyebrow and the other threading! The price you can not beat for 9 dollars for the full face for threading . It's a great price. There are a couple of times where i come home and there a few hairs left even after I tell them there are still there . I have a lot of hair on my face because of polycistic ovarian syndrome so I have to get my face get threaded , waxed or even tweezed regularly. So I don't know if it's my polycistic ovarian syndrome or maybe they aren't doing a good job . The ladies are fast though . read more

This Salon is great. My daughter and I have been going here ever since it opened and all that work here are very quick and professional. Kiran and Manisha do a great job with my daughter's facial waxing and Rekha does an excellent job with applying henna on my hair...and so fast too ! Iris does a great job with waxing and she is really quick too. So all in all, this place has a good staff who work fast and at the same time do a thorough job. Prices are very reasonable and the place is clean. Their claim to fame is their eyebrow threading and they get a LOT of customers for this. Horrible experience!! I thought I would give this place a try since it's very convenient to my house instead of driving far to my usual place. One brow was a lot thinner compared to the other side (see my pic that I posted) and still stray hairs all over!! I usually don't complain but this experience was awful. 4 stars for quality of service, 1 star for customer service... the ladies are quite rude & heavy handed, but for the price & quality of threading I will go back. I also got my chin waxed, the lady did not wipe the wax off my face or offer a wipe, aloe vera or lotion. They are pretty rude, but they never mess up my eyebrows or leave unwanted hair. read more

I have a wax burn on my face right on the cheek bone. I contacted the owner several times via email as well as their website but no response. I had got my face waxed before I went on vacation to Mexico, I had a big burn and blister all through my vacation and all pictures have the burn on it.......not good! I scar easily and now have a permanent scar on my FACE. Their wax burner are at higher temperatures as well as the technique used on me was slapping a gob of hot wax on one spot and then spreading it. For the other services I have received there were no problems, the owner should have responded and corrected the temperatures on her wax burners and apologized. I now have a disfigured face and do not like it at all. So BEWARE of irresponsible techniques or risk getting burns and scars !!!!! read more

Clean and very nice ladies but threading not the best. A lot of stray hairs left, not even, and just not the sharp job I was looking for. Pain wasn't that much which was good but just not impressed. I am serious about details especially with eyebrows as they shape your entire face. But for $4 I can clean up the rest of the brow she forgot and keep it moving!! I tipped well too. Pretty nice work for eyebrows and it's inexpensive. I'm not too sure about haircuts though, my mother in-law got a haircut from there and it didn't look that great or anything and they didn't wash her hair before or blow-dry it after either but it's $15 so I guess that's all you get. It was a thin woman, I think her name is Mansi. I liked the face waxing though, it's $12 and they used some organic wax. The girl who did my face made it quick and painless and she really paid attention to cleaning up all the tiny hair (short girl, don't know her name). She's done my eyebrows a couple of times and she does a good job each time. Another lady with long black hair, I think her name is Kiran, is good with eyebrows too but I can't say that for everyone there. read more

Worst place ever. I have been going here for quite some time but I won't ever again. I have been noticing that every time I go, one of the employees always messes something up. My chin isn't threaded properly, my eyebrows are Crooked, they don't remove the small hair from my upper lips. I still continued to go because of their reward program where points add up and you get free/discounted services. But lately even when I put my number in to get the points, the employee never adds them up. What's the point of having a reward system if you want to be stingy about it? Just 2 weeks ago I got my eyebrows threaded and the lady literally threaded off half of my eyebrow hair. My left brow and right brow could be told apart tremendously. It was embarrassing. I've been going to asia salon since it opened in murphy. the owner manisha is very sweet and takes very good care of her customers. i usually go for threading and waxing and the service has always been great!!! i have no complaints. I've also gotten my hair cut and styled their as well as touch up and they did a great job. While this place may be great for threading eyebrows, facial hair etc, it is NOT a great place to get your hair cut. I took my daughter her for a basic trim with a few layers and the cut was so awful. It was completely uneven and crooked and when I asked why one side was shorter than the other, the stylist said it's because she has more hair on one side of her head. Really?!?? I asked her to fix it and but hesitated to have her cut more off. I paid, left and called my old hair stylist! Why offer haircutting services when you don't have qualified people to do the job?AVOID if you're looking for a hair cut! read more

I just moved from uptown Dallas and was pleased to find this gem. The lady who did my eyebrows was ready to listen to how I wanted them and did a good job. The lady who did my waxing was also fantastic. What I love the most about this place is that they use natural wax made from sugar and lemon juice instead of the chemical waxes that are used in other salons. Unlike some other Indian salon this place is also very clean and they do not reuse changing gowns. I am also going to try their facial and hair massage soon. Overall I give it 4.5 stars. read more

I have long been a patron of a popular eyebrow threading place in Richardson and was a bit nervous to try a new place. Since this salon is so close to my home I decided to give it a try and I will definitely continue to go back. The quality of the eyebrow threading is equivalent to the services I received in Richardson and there is a significantly shorter wait. The ambiance definitely could be improved because the decor is a bit dull and doesn't have much energy. If you live near the Murphy area and need to get your eyebrows done, definitely give this place a try. It's only 4 bucks and one of the women who works there also works at the other popular place I mentioned. read more

I went to the salon today to get my eyebrows threaded and before the lady touched my eyebrows, I specifically told her not to make my eyebrows thin and she replied with okay. When I looked into the mirror after she finished, not only did she make them both thin but she made my right eyebrow half the size of my left eyebrow. This is my second bad experience with this salon and its safe to say that I will never go there again. read more
