What a bizarre experience…read more.. I purchased a Groupon for fibroblast, and texted the number on the listing to schedule an appointment. The owner told me she now works out of her apartment...umm, ok, little sketch, but I figured maybe it was a post-COVID thing. I had the appointment set for nearly a week, and the owner texted me 2 hours before our scheduled appointment to cancel and reschedule for later in the day. I work 70 hours a week and can't just up and change my schedule last second, so I told her just to refund me. She then said I'd have to contact Groupon to be refunded...annoying, but whatever. While I'm chatting with Groupon for over 20 minutes, I get a text from the owner telling me her personal issues about her dentist appointment and how they were running late and she can't just up and leave for our appointment. What??? WHY do business owners do this? I am your client. I don't want to hear about your personal problems or poor planning that has now disrupted our set appointment. I would never do this to my client. I get my personal business PERSONAL. Funny, if the roles were reversed, she's try to change me a fee for canceling last minute on her, but it's OK that she does it to her client. I honestly feel like I dodged a bullet. The bait and switch on the address was red flag #1. I should have canceled then. The last minute cancellation was red flag #2 and a terrible frost impression. The odd texts that followed were nutty. I use Groupon to weed out the bad from good before using them a lot in the future. So glad this one didn't work out. Beware.

She was critical of my sparse eyelashes, accused me of having bad extensions before, and repeatedly questioned me about my hair and eyebrows and who had 'done' them. She never discussed options with me, and the only question she asked was how long I wanted them. I told her I was relatively new to the process, and had only done them the one time before...by her, at this location a few months prior. I didn't want them to be too long, and they were. She said that next time I would need to tell her what 'number' I wanted...like I should know what the numbers are. All in all, she wasn't pleasant and griped at me throughout the process. I came from work and still had some lingering mascara on, which made her angry. She jabbed at my eyelashes with tweezers to remove it, and told me that she would charge $25 to remove it next time. She even saved the tissue to prove to me that she removed mascara. My eyelash extensions are now clumped together with blobs of glue, and are ripping off my own eyelashes as a result. If you are experienced with having lash extensions, and you want them cheap and fast, maybe you would have a better experience here. If you are new to the process, go somewhere with better customer service and technique.

Enter the grocery store and head straight to the back left past the food court! You'll see their sign and enter through a door. Roohi is a sweet, older, experienced cosmetologist who specialised in eyebrow threading that I would drive over 2 hours to make sure she was the only one who touched my brows! She took on an assistant and eventually sold her salon to her assistant, and this new owner is equally as talented and thorough in giving me exactly what I want. I absolutely adore coming here! There's a reason I recommend her to all my friends- who love her too. She's great! Love how I look, and $6 eyebrow threading price point is great too!! Tons of people come for facials and other services, I can't speak to that as I've never tried these services. My recommendation is to come here when you have some time- not the greatest place to go when you're in a rush. She doesn't do a rushed job at all, and there's usually a line of people waiting. You might be able to make an appointment if you call ahead. She is just one person offering all these services, but I did see she's taking on an assistant of her own so that might help with servicing more people quickly. Open Monday to Sunday 11:00 AM to 8:00PM, but closed every Tuesday.
