Super fast & thorough!…read more I haven't gotten my eyebrows threaded in forever (at least 3 months) and she was so fast and did the best eyebrow threading I've had in while, if not ever. And the prices are unbeatable - eyebrow threading and upper lip waxing was $9 total, plus she went over my upper lip via threading to be extra thorough. If I lived around here, she'd be my go-to. Highly recommend!

I've been coming to Roohi's salon for over 10 years! They've been through so many stages and I'm…read moreglad they finally found a system that works. Always dependable with excellent service and quality! I recommend them to all my friends! They are located inside Subzi Mandi Farmer's Market in Garland, TX on the corner of Buckingham and Plano Rd. just 7 minutes off 635. Enter the grocery store and head straight to the back left past the food court! You'll see their sign and enter through a door. Roohi is a sweet, older, experienced cosmetologist who specialised in eyebrow threading that I would drive over 2 hours to make sure she was the only one who touched my brows! She took on an assistant and eventually sold her salon to her assistant, and this new owner is equally as talented and thorough in giving me exactly what I want. I absolutely adore coming here! There's a reason I recommend her to all my friends- who love her too. She's great! Love how I look, and $6 eyebrow threading price point is great too!! Tons of people come for facials and other services, I can't speak to that as I've never tried these services. My recommendation is to come here when you have some time- not the greatest place to go when you're in a rush. She doesn't do a rushed job at all, and there's usually a line of people waiting. You might be able to make an appointment if you call ahead. She is just one person offering all these services, but I did see she's taking on an assistant of her own so that might help with servicing more people quickly. Open Monday to Sunday 11:00 AM to 8:00PM, but closed every Tuesday.

Also, I love a quiet treatment (no talking, just silence or tranquil music?! Great!) BUT she didn't say a single word the entire time to the point that idk what products or steps took place. It was just incredibly basic and not tailored to skin needs. A little music player was going in the corner and it played the same instrumental song on repeat for the 40 min duration-- I lost my sanity! The treatment room was dirty and cluttered, staff all over the place, check in process was bad- waited a long time despite having made an appointment (there was no record of it on their end when I showed up!) To be fair I bet they're just fine for eyebrows and other basic waxing needs but this is not where I'd ever go for skincare.

There are many choices for lashes but I don't plan to go anywhere else again. The location is very convenient with lots of parking in the strip mall downstairs. The space is nice. I had wanted a perm & color but since my home-dye-job damaged my hair, they explained to me how that would damage my hair further. I was grateful for the consideration & learned more about hair care. And the salon was clean, tidy, & welcoming. [BTW, during another hair consultation with a Plano salon - which was loud & rude, they wouldn't explain to me why my request was not doable; the stylist pulled my hair & yelled in Chinese.
