My experience at Q Nails is always great. I only come here for pedicures, no where else! The prices are reasonable & I know I will walk out with well done toes. I've had a lot of nail technicians here & all of them are great. Julie just did my pedicure today & she was very kind, gentle, & very detailed. I do remember two months ago I had a toenail chip & the color came off with it & I returned fully okay with paying for them to fix it, but they fixed it at no cost! I just moved to the area and have come here 5ish times so far. I really like this place. The manager (Emily i believe) is the absolute sweetest and always makes sure everything is right. My dip sets last 3+ weeks if I need them to. My only cons: - other salons I have been to regularly send 15-25% off texts. Q nails doesn't seem to participate in this... besides the 10% off for my birthday. - they don't have a "bar". (And if they do, it's never been offered.) most places I've been to at least have wine / mimosas. -they DO charge extra for the tip, and then extra to shape the tip they just put on. Kinda odd. BUT - they do last forever and don't break so the extra $5 may be worth it. It's been 3 weeks so take the picture with a grain of salt. They are still intact, shape was great. read more

I am thoroughly impressed with how quickly I received a response with a resolution and WILL go back to give them another shot. Thank you! Okay so this is my second time to come here. I really enjoyed my first visit and got a great gel pedicure. I came back today for a gel pedi and I'm so upset!! I asked the woman not to cut, only file, my toenails. I thought to myself after a lot of cuticle cutting, "wow, she really is taking a long time with those cuticle trimmers..." I look down and the side of my big toenail has been clipped right off! It's painful and looks like complete sh**. THEN I get home and am inspecting my toes and see that she didn't even cover my entire big toe with clear gel polish and all of my little toes are only half painted with clear coat! (See photos) So I have one effed up big toenail that I have to live with for a few months while it grows back out and the other big toe isn't even painted properly. This was NOT a cheap pedi and I'm super upset. This is a NO for me! Thank GOD I have my own gel kit at home so I could fix the clear coat myself but the whole point of going to get my toes done is so I don't HAVE to fix them at all. The technicians there were kind, patient, and helpful. They also had a good variety of colors to choose from and it all worked out. Honestly disappointed. At first I was thrilled with my nails and the lady who did them was very sweet. She accidentally cut my nail bed when preparing my nails for the acrylics, but I brushed it off since accidents do happen. That should have been my first red flag though. When I went to pay I was charged $60 for a service I believe was going to be around $48-- I got an acrylic refill and a gel polish, nothing wild or fancy. Once I got home, I noticed that the polish was lumpy and bubbling up in place which has never happened to me before. The next day I decided to take a bath and WHOLE CHUNKS of polish fell of my nails. I feel ridiculous for paying $60 for such a shabby job. They got me in on short notice on a Saturday. The technician did an excellent job on my manicure (gel). I often feel they don't make a good effort to cover the entire nail b/c they don't want to paint your cuticles and they end up leaving a lot of nail not painted with gel. Not here. She (Tina I think was her name!?) did an excellent job. Her attention to detail was awesome. The place felt drab (which makes me worry about cleanliness) but it was a great experience otherwise. I really like this place! It's cute inside and the ladies are super sweet. They have a 10% off from Monday-Thursday, and they'rservices are pretty normal priced ($35 for dip, $30 for gel) I got dip/nexgen nails for the first time and I'm a little underwhelmed. They feel very thick like acrylic nails that I stopped getting because they felt so unnatural. My technician was Amy and she was great! I can tell she definitely tried her best and I appreciate that but my nails are pretty chunky looking and there is polish/powder all over my skin. I'm definitely going to give them a second chance with gel polish because the place itself is nice but the dip powder is a no go for me. I was in search of a place that could do pristine nail designs. I had a picture and everything ready. My friend recommended this place for their pedicures so I made an appointment. When I called, I asked the lady that answered if they could do it and she said to send her a picture over. She confirmed that they could so I gave it a go! One of the ladies did my pedicure and she was very gentle and precise with the nail color. This gentleman sat me down after and said he would try his best with the nail design. They did not have nail tape and I chose to do shellac so he said it would be a challenge but not impossible! It took a while for him to do it and I was semi happy when done because I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my nails. I'm glad that he was patient and tried his best otherwise. Usually this was my go to spot on a Sunday, I wanted a French tip with glitter on the white part only. I showed her a photo of what I wanted as well and she told me she could do it. So I let her do her thing and she just kept asking me if I liked it or not throughout the entire process. I'm not the type to be mean but I continued the service anyways.... It took her two hours to complete and I was really upset that I cried after I left.. I didn't want to speak up because I knew she was trying her best and this was my worst experience here compared to the other times I've came and my nails were great. But for what it was worth was $70 plus a $20 tip it wasn't worth it. Why tip? Well like I said I'm not mean or greedy and they have a family to feed too.
