I have visited this salon twice. Only twice because I've only needed to visit once a month! My nails last ONE MONTH! After one month they still look good!. They are just bargaining to look like I need to get them done but if I wait another month , it's cool too! I am so impressed with KT nails . There is no rush you do need an appt. She stays busy . This is going to be my go-to hole in the wall nail salon. Their prices are super affordable and they're super nice as I was basically a last minute walk in! I came in with extremely damaged nails and unruly cuticles, and my nail tech (oops! Didn't catch her name) fixed everything right up! I got the normal gel full set (without tips, next time I will make an appointment ahead of time because I was a walk in and they didn't have enough time for the tips). The price was $20! Walked in on a whim Tuesday afternoon and Lily did my toes. Nothing fancy but she picked and scrubbed all the dry winter cruddy ick from my feet. She even noticed that I had had ingrown toenail surgery (in all the years I have had my toes does no one even knows why I have funky shaped big toe nails. I tell them and they have no idea what I'm talking about) Lily said she's been doing nails for 26 years and has seen it all. Even better, if you go Monday through Thursday, a basic pedi is $20. This has been my primary salon for a few years now. This is a small family place that knows your name when you come in. No fancy spa chairs, just comfy recliners. The prices are great - $12 for a basic mani and $20 for a basic pedi. Acrylics start at $20. You get a hand or foot paraffin dip included and the massages last a long time! They do waxing, foot/hand massage and other services too. No credit cards. If you need acrylics or a fill, call and make an appointment with Kim - the only time I've seen her not busy is if a client is late! If you need a mani or pedi you can usually walk in and get with Mary or Kathy, although there have been a couple of times they couldn't fit me in. There's only 3 of them! There's also a hair salon, but the chairs are owned by independent stylists, who aren't in unless they have an appointment. So if you want to feel like more than just another pair of feet and you like pedis that last for weeks, give them a try! read more

I've had all good experiences coming here. When I walk in I'm always greeted right away and have my nails worked on almost immediately. Kathy does a great job every time. I never leave not satisfied. They make it a point to try to have conversations with you rather than just talking among themselves. They are very friendly and personable. The first time I went in I was unaware of the cash or check only policy. I didn't see the sign that was behind me the whole time until the very end. I live in Oak Cliff and drive all the way to Richardson @ Jupiter and Belt Line Rd so Kim can do my nails. Kathy and Mary are awesome when it comes to pedicures. The absolute best nail place in town!! It's best if you can call ahead for an appointment. Kim usually has several regulars booked ahead of time throughout the day. You won't feel like you have been rushed through a fast paced nail place when you leave here. Very relaxed atmosphere!! I usually take a wonderful nap while I'm getting my pedicure!! I have been a client of Kim's for going on 8 years and moved with her to her salon at it's current location at Belt Line and Jupiter. She has never had an "Angela" that worked at her salon. AND her prices have never been in the $80 range for gel nails and pedicure. After a stressful week at work, I wanted to unwind and treat myself to something I rarely get to do. A pedicure was just what I needed. I happened to be running errands in Richardson, so I decided to look up salons nearby that were affordable. This amazing, hidden little gem came up first. I was seated as soon as I came in and after explaining what I wanted, a lady immediately went to work! She then surprised me by asking if I wanted to soak my feet in the paraffin wax. Thinking it was extra, I asked how much? She told me with a smile that it was included, so of course! After she dipped my feet in the wax, she began giving me a shoulder, neck and temple rub! What a treat! The pedicure lasted about 45 min to an hour and she did an excellent job. After all of that, she said it was just $20! What a steal! I normally pay $35 for a lesser quality pedicure near my home. My only disappointment was finding out at the end that they only accept cash or checks. Glad I had my checkbook with me. What a wonderful experience our group had here. Walked in picked our colors and them taking to the recliners, not the norm for nail salon. While they took excellent care of our feet during the paraffin wax they gave a massage by hand and not by machine, that was unexpected. Will definitely be going back. I wanted to love this place. Kim, Maryann and Kathy are all super friendly and their customers, all greeted by name while I was there, appear to be mostly regulars, so they're clearly doing something right. And free paraffin included in your $20 pedi is basically a screamingly good deal. However, I wasn't super thrilled with my pedi, primarily because my big toenail was cut way too deep and curved down in the corner, against my wishes/instructions, and against all standard advice to best avoid an ingrown toenail -- the toe's been throbbing slightly with pain for the last 3 days and I'm super paranoid about it now growing in ingrown, so I'm trying to wear only loose flipflops even though the weather is now getting cold up here. Also, although Maryann's foot scrubbing and nail cleaning were meticulous, the polish application (by someone else) was extremely sloppy and went all over my cuticles. My toes also weren't separated in advance, so the polish smudged when they touched. Maryann tried to help me clean it up afterwards with some remover, but the polish started running off the edges of the nail as a result. Unfortunately I was in a rush so wasn't able to request they redo the polish -- they are so nice that I am sure they would have obliged. 5 stars for attitude and pleasantness and price, a few stars less for the actual outcome and the still-painful big toe. read more

I really wanted to enjoy my experience. The people were nice. However, one of the technicians filed one of my nails through to my skin and kept showing everyone in the salon but never even apologized. It was very painful. The same woman did a terrible job filing my nails. Then I went to pay and even though I walked in with my phone and a debit card, they chose this moment to tell me they only accepted cash. They knew I only had a debit card with me and deliberately waited for me to receive services to tell me. I have to go to an ATM and pay the fee at the machine to get the money out to pay them while they still never apologized for filing through my nail down to my skin. I was very disappointed. I've referred numerous people over the years to this salon and they are also all very pleased. Kim is the best at what she does and I will never go anywhere else. Yes you do need to make an appointment to have your nails and toes done and that alone should tell you something. They have lots of regular clients and only have 3 employees but you will feel like a friend of theirs after your 2nd appointment for sure. Every time I walk through their doors, I'm turned away...doesn't matter the time or day. I have never been to a nail salon that doesn't squeeze you in. I've walked in with only one client in a chair and I'm told they are booked. I believe these people are selective to who they provide services to. As I live directly across from their shop, it would have been nice to just walk there but for odd reason, they never have time or available staff...start speaking in another language and then apologizes...it's okay KT...I get it...my services are not welcome there... read more
